“SQ is informative, trustworthy and a great way of getting in touch with the more highly regarded installers. Passion and professionalism in equal measures.”
“What an amazing service! I would never have been able to work through finding the Solar Company l have without this service. SoarQuotes do all the leg work for you. From the moment l read through the information they provided online and their follow up emails l had the confidence that l would be receiving credible company quotes.”
“Having the analysis of equipment types and the process to follow was most helpful. The referral to 3 potential installers was also helpful and hurry up given when 2 were a bit slow off the mark in sending quotes. The installation is set for 2 months from time of writing due to me delaying it one month.
So far very good.”
“Easy enough to use their website. The firms made contact same day. I am still awaiting one of the quotes, but know we will go with one of the quotes we have received.
The Solar Quote website also offered info which is well worth understanding, before you proceed.”
“Replies to questions where very good and information provided helped in the decision process. The three businesses provided for quoting had different opinions but all quoted the same thing in the end as per my request, with a business chosen.
Installation yet to happen.”
“This service makes it easy to get input from a few different comapnies about what systems may suit your situation and the costs involved. We quickly received answers and prices from three professional installers with a variety of options and opinions. In the end we decided we'd be better off with what we had for now and have delayed upgrading, but we now know where we stand which means peace of mind.”
“I’m still in the process of reading and re-reading your web site. Have spoken to a couple of your recommendations and another from a previous job. I’m learning what to look out for and to differentiate between I would like to have/ think I need/ wanted. I already have panels and inverter from an earlier installation time so looking for a battery. Only one of the three you gave me came out to look at my current situation. They are not convinced my house has 3 phase. In the ended I got a senior electrician who works in commercial construction industry to take a good look at the wiring and was advised the house is wired three phase. So now I’m reviewing again. I’m learning.”
“All three companies contacted pretty promptly and provided good quality quotes to my specification. Happy with the professionalism shown by them all.”
“The site was great for getting information about products and tradespeople. It’s always good to know more about what you’re buying and who it’s from.”
“The advice on the website is great.
That's more than can be said about the advice from the pre-vetted installers. They may well 'back' their product, and perhaps we can be somewhat assured that they will be around in a year or two to look after the warranty, but, so far, I have found none that can actually expain how the economics of what they are proposing to install will work out for me. I can sort-of understand why, because it is complex. But this is the business they are in, so I would expect them to have models that can take my existing meter readings (gas + electricity) and SHOW me what the impact of the various technologies will be. Just telling me what they think my up-front costs will be plus the suggested payback period is not SHOWING me the analysis. Are they guaranteeing the payback period? No, so they are asking me to take the risk with some black box generated numbers...
It appears there is no such tool available to the installers, or at least not those recommended through Solarquotes. What would be super valuable is a tool that would allow a user to upload their own meter readings (yes, the half hourly readings over, say, the last five years, obtained from the retailer), plus gas usage, plus other details of the house and occupants, and then model the addition / replacement of various energy appliances and various retail electricity offerings. The Solarquotes website would be highly valuable if such a tool was to be found there!”
“The solar quotes were great and I spoke with 2 of them before deciding to go with Green Vision Solar.
It was very helpful in the decision making and all the technicalities and cost associated were well explained by them.”
“Hi There, Solar quotes put us onto Zeco and they were very prompt with coming out and inspecting our property. We decided to go with them so thankyou for recommending them.”
“Yes , We got our quotes although we are still yets to confirm our needs as we had panels and inverter installed 13 years ago, yes lots if good info on their site. Will keep visiting thei site and I trust them and thrthe information they provide”
“Quotes were received promptly. Of the company I selected a worker came out to check the roof which I
was very happy with as my home is fairly old. I have not had the panels installed yet as I will be away for 7 days and will contact the company when I get back.”
“All companies responded.
One decidedly lukewarm about our job
Quotes confusing and so far have not provided what we require,
despite us providing a fair amount of detail on your site.”
Hi David,
Apologies our installers missed the mark here. I can see you did provide detail in your quote request - I've left you a voicemail to get more detail on what transpired here. I would love to follow up and get you to a place where you are satisfied with a quote. Feel free to call back or just write to me at ned@solarquotes.com.au and I'll work with you towards a solution. Thanks for letting us know - it only helps.
Ned.
