“I have followed the solar quotes sites for many years and have always found the information available to be valuable in making decisions about solar power.
I decided to not go ahead with some of the quoting companies to request quotes to add a battery to our system as we are not large power users and the capital cost could not be saved during the warranty periods of any battery currently available.
Costs should have reduced substantially by now, given the ramp up of electric vehicles, but even with the new government rebate factored in are still around a $1000 dollars per kilowatt hour installed price. This will have to be much less for the majority to justify such a large capital expenditure.”
