“Beautifully crafted and well made. The only downside is I would have expected Sternglass to have greater confidence in the quality of their product by having a longer warranty than 2 years. Otherwise, I enjoy the watch.”

“The Hamburg Edition Bronze watch is a very handsome watch that's keeping perfect time. I don't ask for much more than that in a watch. Note - The actual watch face is more brown than green. The photo on the web site shows a face that's more green than brown. Sternglas should request wrist size on the order so they could attach a properly sized band instead of a one-size-fits-all band. My band was too small requiring that I purchase a new band before I could wear the watch.”

“Just a follow up on the Clock Zirkel white and Clock Zirkel black clocks. Now that I've had them for a few weeks I have one suggestion. Could the second hand be made to more easily distinguish it from the minute and hour hands? I find that I have to wait to see which hand is moving so I can really tell the time. For some the second hand can be confused with the other hands. For me the second hand is not that important so if it were black on the black clock and white on the white clock it wouldn't be a problem. Thanks.”

“This is my second Sternglas watch and as much as I like the design and look of the watch it bothers me that this watch loses more than 2 minutes in less than a week. It seems to be a general problem with Sternglas watches because my first watch from Sternglas had the same issue. Even after I had the first watch serviced by Sternglas, it still loses considerable time. I had hoped that this was a one-off but unfortunately not. They are pretty to look at, but not usable as working timepieces when accurate time is a necessity. I think that in this price range more can be expected. I will not consider Sternglas watches anymore.”

Moin from Hamburg! Thank you for your review. :) It should be emphasized, that a mechanical movement never runs as accurate as a battery-powered movement. This is due to the construction of an automatic movement and cannot be avoided with any mechanical movement. The manufacturer MIYOTA specifies a tolerance deviation of -20 to +40 seconds for the 821A movement, which is used in the STERNGLAS automatic models, and a deviation of -10/+30 seconds per day for the 9015 movement. So two minutes in a week are still in deviation. Greetings from Hamburg. :)

“Habe die Uhr bei einem Zweithändler gekauft und das Milanese band direkt bei euch. Das design gefällt mir sehr, leider passt das Band auf der einen Seite nicht perfekt in die Halterung. Nach einem sehr netten Telefonat mit euren Kundenservice bin ich zu einem Juwelier um die Halterung etwas aufbiegen zu lassen, dieser wollte das aber nicht tun da er Angst hatte die Uhr dabei zu beschädigen. Werde die Uhr jetzt erstmal so verschenken und ggf. nochmal einen Juwelier aufsuchen. An und für sich bin ich sehr zufrieden, allerdings fände ich es toll wenn man jede Uhr direkt mit dem wunsch Armband bestellen könnte. Dann würde so etwas wahrscheinlich auch direkt auffallen.”

“Ich hatte das Unternehmen über Kickstarter unterstützt und die Uhren gefallen mir sehr gut. Einige habe ich inzwischen erworben. Eines verstehe ich allerdings nicht: warum kostet das Lederarmband Premium schwar 20mm am Cybermonday statt 39 Euro, wenn ich es in den Warenkorb gelegt habe, nicht mehr 35 Euro sondern 44 Euro???”
