“I mainly order steaks, bacon and chicken. Chicken is always great value and better quality than the standard supermarket chicken. Sirlion,ribeye and rump are always top notch and I don't think there is anywhere as cheap even at the bulk prices. Bacon is top value especially the new streaky Bacon”

“Best order I had in a long time. All of my meat was wrapped very well and ordered on time.we had some of the meat balls with spaghetti today it had such a lovely flavour.yesterday we cut some of our beef fillet into strips and ate it with a fresh salad.oh boy was that a treat.cut the rest onto beautiful fillets and popped into the freezer.what a bargain buy.well done fat butcher.xx”

“First time ordering, delivery arrived day later than I asked for, I understand these things happen but sadly my food wasn’t dispatched until the day it was suppose to arrive, I then had to go out and buy more bbq food. No customer service over the weekend, obviously apart from the online chat thing, but sadly I needed to talk to a human. Food finally arrived the day after. Was missing koftas, and the box stank due to the burgers not being wrapped properly, so the container was ajar. On good note, I was finally refunded for the missing item, and the wings were amazing and the legs, froze the rest as not needed yet. Overall this wasn’t a great first experience, late and missing item. Okay customer service did get back to me. There wasn’t any reason for lateness and missing item but will I shop again at the fat butchers, sadly not!”

“I’m a first time purchaser so was not fully aware of what would come. I shouldn’t have worried. It was huge chicken filets and an array of steaks. The quality is extremely high. I will now be a regular customer”

“In the main I was happy. There were a few minor issues that stopped us giving a full 5 stars. The box was burst open when it arrived but all meet seemed to be OK. The chicken in the pack was very un even in size 1 massive breast, 1 normal sized breast and a t small piece to make up weight. We were surprised to see that the pork was Spanish.”

“I can not praise this company enough, perfect meat and great customer service from Darren. He even changed my delivery day due to hospital without any hassles. 10/10 for me. Chicken wings are really good also. Visit the store try the sausage rolls out as well, 2 for 3 quid man and what a flavour.”

“After an issue with our original order arriving damaged, Darren resolved this within a few days and sent out a replacement with no problems. Excellent customer service provided and we are very happy with the quality of the meat so far. Thank you.”

“The steaklets tasted really nice, i haven't tried the meatballs yet but the look and smell delicious, unfortunately the fillet beef was a major disappointment due to the amount of fat and sinew on it, although after some heavy trimming it did taste nice and tender but I wouldn't buy it again due to the amount of trimming required”

“Extremely impressed by the meats I purchased from The fat butcher. I had previously ordered from a different website who were not up to scratch, so I was dubious about trying another online butcher, but I am so glad i did! Delicious, lean cuts of meat, tender steaks and the best gammon I have ever tasted. I am trying to catch some of the lamb steaks but so far, I keep missing them as they fly out of the door.”
