“So ordered our first box ever. The courier messed up and we never received our food. We contacted The Fat Butcher wondering how they would deal with this and would they sort this out? We should not have been worried. We were contacted quickly and The Fat Butcher sorted out a replacement box immediately which we have received today. Food looks lovely and fresh and despite being 28 degrees today was reassuringly chilled when we opened the box. Looking forward to trying everything out over the coming days......”

“The beef fillet was impressive - well marbled and tender. The chicken wings were a slight disappointment. Last time we ordered, they were huge and succulent. This time, not so. The cumberland sausages were the best we have ever tasted. Had a very successful BBQ party.”

“Whether I’m visiting the shop in Bebside to get myself a couple of sirloin steaks or ordering in a bulk delivery for the family from the online shop in Seaton Delaval. I’m always happy with the Fat Butcher products I’ve bought and the prices paid, plus there’s always great deals available via the Fat Butcher app. The Fat Butcher are hard to be beaten on price for the quality of meat you get and I simply refuse to buy supermarket meat these days as you never truly know where it’s sourced from.”

“I was amazed when I had my first order I was shocked with meat I received how big the hampers where and how big joints where and freshly cut meat I was happy , please with all my meat I ordered from the butcher I wouldn’t get it cheaper anywhere else I would highly recommend anyone to this and I will be ordering again for Christmas fantastic seller 5 stars Thank you”

“The meat is amazing quality but please dont look at the adverts for size comparison please look at the weight. They are massive on the adverts but tiny in the packaging whatever you get especially beef and lamb”

“Despite a couple of small issues I've had previously (which were dealt with immediately) I'm overall happy with the company and their products..... The only downside is the extremely high shipping costs which is a rip off....!”

“I am leaving 2 star and not 1 because the meat I've received on my 2 orders was very good. Although I sent I don't know how many emails to have informations on products due to allergies and even though it was the customer service who offered to escalate I never received an answer and when chased up I was ignored every time. I feel fooled and it is ridiculous that you don't have answers or ignore the customers when it comes up to allergies”
