“The fillet steak was great , the minted lamb chump chops had to much bone and not enough meat”

“Excellent service and value for your money. Every order i have received has been well packed with the iceblocks and care has been taken . The quality of the meat I've recieved so far has been good quality. So I shall continue to order and recommend to friends.”

“Excellent quality of meats, the beef (silver/topside) so tender, the pork loin steaks and chicken breast are of excellent quality, and the sausages are the perfect blend and texture. If any issues arise, then the Fat Butcher responds quickly and fairly to your concerns. Delivery is quick and well packaged to keep the meat chilled from store to door. Will be my first-thought online butcher for my meat hampers from now on.”

“Prices are great, meat seems ok. I bought 4kg chicken breast, by the time I emptied out the liquid and cut off all the bits I wouldn't use personally, was still left with over 3kg chicken (I was weighing and freezing in portions). Pork loin steaks were nice and thick, but a bit fatty for my taste. The gammon joint looks fantastic (Haven't tried it yet). Overall quite pleased and I will use the Fat Butcher again.”

“Our 2nd order, in my opinion its high quality, a fair price, cut above supermarkets meat, above all their customer care is first class we had one little disappointment but put right immediately no quibble no fuss. Couldn't recommend them Highly enough give them a go dont think you will be disappointed”

“Items were missing from my order, I used the chat to explain the problem and I filled out the form etc and yesterday I used the chat again and my complaint was escalated but still no word from fat butcher customer service. I am extremely disappointed and annoyed with the lack of response I have received”

“I have had several orders from the Fat Butcher.Each one has been perfect, exactly as described The tomahawk steaks are stunning, the lamb chump chops are so tender and done I. Next to no time on the bbq and so tasty. All the seasonings on the meats are an added bonus and saves me a Job with the marinating. My favourite go to butcher. Thankyou so much.”

“I always choose the meats that I require rather than a box. The sausages are to die for and I love receiving my meats, (although I sometimes have trouble fitting it in the freezer) the taste is so much better than supermarket meat. The taste of butchers without the cost :-)”

“Have been using the fat butcher for about a year now and have to say i am very happy with the service the packaging and the delivery time is always spot on with very good delivery communications .the quality of the meat is very good and the selection and deals you can get is more than enough for myself . I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good product for a good price.”

“Not Happy, booked my order in chose the day and waited in for my delivery, checked my tracking with DDP and it just said order not being delivered due to it being perishable ? Tried to contact the fat butcher and the only contact was email, it took a number of emails as the response was very slow, the parcel had reached the DDP depot but that's where it stayed i am thinking it's been stolen ? The email reply just kept going no where to solve this and the the reply just stopped i asked for a refund but just had a new delivery arranged by the fat butcher and for a day the following week that I wouldn't be at home to receive the parcel, so the conclusion is the customer service is not fit for purpose and there courier DDP are unreliable and they don't take any notice of customer requests. I will not be using again !”

“had major issues with my last order didn’t receive what i ordered ! what i did receive was very poor quality we had to throw out the pork chops that were rancid! and the pork ribs that were inedible. i’ve sent emails and chatted on there App but as yet only offered credit note Very poor service”

“Ordered a XL Mystery Box of meat and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the meat. We are a family of six, five adults and a near teen with hollow legs. We are halfway through our meat box and have so far enjoyed everything we have eaten. A lovely Sunday brunch using the sausages, bacon and black pudding. Very tasty spaghetti and meatballs, minted lamb chops with potatoes and sugar snaps a delicious Pork and Potato Thai curry. The family favorite was the Hoisin Chicken using the chicken breast. The chicken just melted in your mouth. I have enjoyed a few too many bacon sandwiches - the tastiest bacon I have ever had! Looking forward to using the steaks and marinaded chicken next week. Would highly recommend you give The Fat Butcher a try. We are glad that we did!”

“i live in south wales and ordered a joint hamper for a tenner absolute crazy deal pork beef and a gammon all a kilo plus delivered within 3 days all in refrigerated box with dpd definite use thease again”

“Excellent all round! Quality of meat, service, value for money and delivery. We have eaten well for the first time in a long time........Something for all budgets so no matter when you shop in the month or weekly you are sure to find offers that work for you. I would absolutly recommend to all my friends and family. No more supermarket meat for us going forwards. Even on a smaller food budget I can absolutely make this way of buying fresh meat work for us. Thank you :)”

“Never had any problems previously but got a delivery on Thursday and unfortunately the meatballs were mouldy. Customer service hasn't been the best. Over a week later and the issue still isn't resolved. Was told someone would be in touch but they haven't.”
