“more care should be taken on combo deals regarding the weight of the joints you have ordered.the quality of the meat and service is very good.and darren is excelent in sorting out any problems and very honest”

“Chicken , bacon pork loin steaks fine. Gammon disappointed as the cuts were very thick at one end and very thin at the other end. Had to cut a lot of the thin end off to make a reasonable but small Gammon steak. I think the birds will enjoy the scraps of the thin Gammon. Not ideal but at least those bits will be enjoyed by the birds.”

“Quality of meat is very good, the weights are off, 800g chicken drum sticks one pack was 760g the other was only 735g but were the nicest chicken I’ve had for ages”

“the bulk buy of the sirloin steaks x 8kgs was tough as old boots if fried or grilled. however, when put in a slow cooker on a high temp. setting for a couple of hours they are very good. all the fat is sweated off and then add your extra ingredients to add flavour.”

“First time ordering, delivery arrived day later than I asked for, I understand these things happen but sadly my food wasn’t dispatched until the day it was suppose to arrive, I then had to go out and buy more bbq food. No customer service over the weekend, obviously apart from the online chat thing, but sadly I needed to talk to a human. Food finally arrived the day after. Was missing koftas, and the box stank due to the burgers not being wrapped properly, so the container was ajar. On good note, I was finally refunded for the missing item, and the wings were amazing and the legs, froze the rest as not needed yet. Overall this wasn’t a great first experience, late and missing item. Okay customer service did get back to me. There wasn’t any reason for lateness and missing item but will I shop again at the fat butchers, sadly not!”

“The steaklets tasted really nice, i haven't tried the meatballs yet but the look and smell delicious, unfortunately the fillet beef was a major disappointment due to the amount of fat and sinew on it, although after some heavy trimming it did taste nice and tender but I wouldn't buy it again due to the amount of trimming required”

“The meat is amazing quality but please dont look at the adverts for size comparison please look at the weight. They are massive on the adverts but tiny in the packaging whatever you get especially beef and lamb”

“The meat arrived as arranged but when I unpacked I found that the minted lamb chops were all in one bag the same with the bacon chops as I live alone It will pose a problem I will have to try to separate them in frozen state because I don,t need all of the chops in one go would be helpful if you packed the chops in two so then four packs the same for the bacon chops or any meat in multiples .”

“Meat was ok but with putting bacon in instead of lions was a disappointing. I took six slices out of the packet and they was in the fridge no longer than three days and they went off ? So they was really out of date to sell . It’s put me off ordering anything again from the fat butcher”
