“Like many others it seems they just don’t deliver!! Waited all day for my little boy’s mattress, update on tracking then says delivered but not here! Shocking customer service! No signature or evidence of where it was delivered too!”
“I contacted Tuffnells as I have a hot tub which needs collecting which is currently in the middle of my lounge and has been for 40 days. The company that delivered the hot tub All Round Fun never sent me a confirmation email or proof of delivery for the purchase so I bought another tub from EBay thinking my initial purchase had not gone through. Since then All Round Fun have argued the toss. But we are now at the stage of them sending a courier to collect the item. They are using Tuffnells. Which is their perogative. However, Tuffnells have a very basic approach to collections. Having spoken to their customer services team, it has been confirmed that they will only provide a collection time of between 8am and 6pm and will not give a more precise time even the day before or on the day itself. Neither do their drivers have phones on them in order to give someone a courtesy ring before collection. In my work situation, I am unable to 100% guarantee that I can answer the door unless given I am given a smaller time scale or pre warning as I am a tutor who works mainly on line on an hourly basis. I appreciate this company might be cheap for companies to use, but, as someone who requires a collection ASAP but can not commit to a 10 hour time slot, there are many other companies out there that offer a better service.”

Were not interested in dealing with my complaint. Would strongly recommend this company is not used.”
“Don't use tuffnells, they lie, never deliver, I had one massive parcel 1.8 metres long, weighing 35kg, damaged, then returned to me with items missing, I then sent out a second time, after replacing missing parts, well guess what this time they lose the parc. How can you lose a parcel 1.8 metres long with delivery address written in black bold marker pen all over it!!! I strongly believe it was stolen by staff!!! Be aware of this company they steal!!!”
“I don’t understand how this company can still be operating? Like all the other reviews below, received an email in the morning saying order is “Out for delivery” then at 6.30pm another email saying delivered with a blank Proof of Delivery slip scanned in as “proof” no name, signature or date. Item was NOT delivered. Looks like this is how they operate, definitely not a legit company!”

“Your delivery partners left a bed and frame outside the front of an unoccupied house for the last 3 days. Comfy Living was already told that this order was cancelled and still despatched and the both are at fault for failing to stop the delivery. Just appalling!”
“Items being delivered from company in Lancashire to Yorkshire. Half the consignment arrived. Sending company notified that items measuring several feet long were not present - in fact I was at home at the time and they didn’t even knock the door! Tufffnells say item was delivered. They have absolutely no proof - no photo, no signature, nothing! Sending company are the only ones who can raise an investigation - ridiculous since they don’t seem bothered - just charge for new items to replace undelivered ones! What a system, What a company! How do they ever get any customers except fools.”
“Tuffnells lost our carpet twice, the second time being declared lost for good. It took 13 days to get the carpet to us. A large fraction of this time we had to wait in a few hours until it became clear from discussion with flooring megastore it was not coming.
I'd far rather had the next day delivery advertised.”
“Collected my item. Failed to put stickers on when questioned. Very distinctive box. Supposedly lost. Hard to lose a 1m box that is 38kg!! Stolen. Also supposed to be next day collection and took a week to collect in the first place!”
“There is no tracking information available apart from 'out for delivery'. Every other carrier gives some idea of when delivery is going to happen. I received notification that my item was delivered at 11 today - but I've not had it. The driver showed that someone had written my first name on their pad to accept delivery. On their web site there are several contact numbers, one is invalid and others just ring and then hang up. I got through eventually and was told they could not contact the driver until he returns to base. I've no idea where my items are. It's 21m of skirting board so if it's been left in the rain it will warp and be useless. I've had many many deliveries and this has never happened before.”
“Item never delivered, avoid at all costs
I ordered a treadmill via a third-party seller, which unfortunately uses this awful courier. My treadmill was never received, yet it was supposedly delivered. Expect, it wasn't. After the third-party seller investigated this further, after many days the response from Tuffnells' driver was that the treadmill was given to the customer, who buzzed him in. This is clearly a lie. Nobody rang the doorbell nor phoned me. No proof of delivery was provided either. I live in a large block of flats and I checked the CCTV footage from my concierge office of the time when the item was *supposedly* delivered and no van came at that time. I have spoken to the concierge who monitors which couriers come to our building and he did not know anything about it either. The driver is clearly lying and now I am left with no treadmill and loads of headaches from having to solve the issue with the seller. DO NOT use this company, if you can avoid them.”

Waited in all day with no ETA , missed out on a days work to call up to be told there is a road closure preventing delivery.
What an absolute load of nonsense , no road closures anywhere near me .
Noone even has the courtesy to call up and let you know they won’t make it.
Worse still you call the delivery company and everything you tell them has to come from your supplier.
Disgrace, I’ll be cancelling my order , I don’t support any company that continues to use such a poor delivery service.”
“This company have a driver that is a liar and a thief.
Tracking is poor with little info on tracking with out for delivery and delivered and no proof of signature or photos of any item that this driver claims to have delivered.
I would stay away from this courier company and avoid using their service.
No customer service contact number and you can only send emails. What a joke.
I feel suspicious of this driver that assigned to delivery my expected parcel.
