“Feel conned. Very good at it though. Caught me out totally. Paid £420 for 3 tickets for Kevin Bridges tour. Website is set up to make sure you ain’t got a clue how much you’re spending until the monies in their account. Got to admire there energy to make sure they focus on screwing you over!”
“Don’t ever buy or sell any tickets with this company. If you are stupid enough to buy any tickets from them and need to resell, try other ways of selling your tickets because these will take a massive chunk, over a quarter of your purchase price, and they don’t pay you back until over a week after the actual event. So if the event is in six months and you try and sell today you will not get your money back until after six months. Even though you bought the tickets from them. The worst customer service also. Steer clear of these.”
“NEVER USE THIS SITE TO BUY TICKETS we travelled 250 miles to see walking with dinosaurs in bham the tickets we bought from viagogo were invalid someone had sold tickets that had been cancelled. And viagogo had sold them on.”
“Offshore nightmare of a company who completely disregard all rules to protect consumers. Added £92 of hidden charges to tickets which were already double face value then will not cancel or provide refunds. Managed to get the hidden charges back via chargeback through my bank but still battling to get the ticket price back. Answer all correspondence with proforma garbarge designed to push you back. Bank have now passed to their fraud department but took a lot of phone calls to get this far. Don't let them get away with it -Keep fighting!”
“The fact I paid £290 for 3 thickets for little mix in Norwich and the price on the tickets was £48 is a bit much I would never use you again
Don't not use them they are a total rip of company”
“Do NOT use this company. I purchased a ticket to a world cup game that they indicated would be delivered by courier to my hotel, since the game was the following day. I called multiple times to find out if the ticket would arrive. The ticket never arrived, I called the next day and asked for a refund. A week later, I called again, and they are stalling and saying that they need to get more information, but would not tell me what information they are trying to get. Do NOT trust this site.”
“I would give them Nil stars if available, so unfortunately they will always get a one star. By far the worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !”
“STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF COMPANY!!!!!!!
We ordered 3 tickets for Eminem at Twickenham. They overcharged us by double, including extortionate charges and VAT!!!!
Then they said they have lost the tickets, meaning that the whole weekend we have planned is ruined. I now have a hotel, and parking at the event which is of no use.
The customer services is by email only, i could not find a phone number that actually got through to someone who did not have s%*t for brains.
They have hidden charges that show up after you have paid, and no way to question them.
Fraudulent company with no morals, and workers that i wouldn't trust to sit the right way on a lavatory bowl.”
“Totally misleading and rip off prices! a 99 pound ticket cost me 186 pounds!......and I bought 2!
I have just printed my tickets and the seat numbers do not correspond with the Block and row. I phoned the venue and they confirmed the seats don't exist. I've emailed Viagogo back and forth and they just don't get it! My tickets are not valid and I'm struggling to get answers. Nightmare!!!!”
“Promised tickets three days ago and yet no contact from Viagogo, why?
They lie and read from scripts, don’t care how you are feeling, stressed for most of the time and tell you want you want to hear!
Didn’t realise they were a 3rd party until it was too late and never give personal details on line because once they got you there is no going back however hard you try, I actually pushed the cancel button and they still took money from my account!
Never ever use Viagogo at all no matter what you think, they are con artists.”
“No tickets arrived on the promised delivery date as the seller failed to fulfill the obligated contract , therefore I implore anyone and everyone never ever use Viagogo as they are the worst, abhorrent, deceitful company I’ve ever trusted to purchase tickets.
It was my tenacity and persistence that finally paid off, quite literally as I’ve received a refund however if I hadn’t when would the tickets arrived? Never they weren’t available in the first instance!
Trust me when I say this and do so with hand on heart, never ever use Viagogo at all no matter what!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED”
“Duped! I had no idea that i was using a secondary ticket site. Their marketing is crafty and unacceptable. The whole affair has had a knock on effect on my health. We all think we cannot be duped. I have remonstrated with viagogo, Office of Fair Trading, Watch Dog, my credit card company etc to no effect. The tickets I wanted were for a show in October. With the recent changes made to stop secondary ticket sellers (ie no en bloc purchases, only allowing the original ticket purchased into the event) viagogo will be unable to fulfil this contract. All I want is to buy legitimate tickets to see the show!!! This is affecting peoples lives and is a complete con to extract money in an illegitimate way.”
“Please, please, please don’t use this awful company. Absolute day light robbery. I bought 2 cricket tickets for a total of €203 that should have cost 70. They rely on people who are busy, stressed and trusting.daylight robbery. I’d have felt better if I’d been pick pocketed, more honest.”
“Con merchants, I am so upset I didn’t do my homework on this company, disgusting how they can get away with it, I brought my tickets in December 2017 for over £1000 pounds for 4 tickles so in my view I should get what I pay for instead they keep you money for 6 months with out letting you know we’re you will be sitting meaning the area but not the seat number and row number and then spend the next 6 months gaining interest on your money and reselling you seat the the bidder nearer the time, they just sent me my 4 tickets in a complete different name and my seat and row number is right at the back so basically I have been cheated and my mum who is 76 and dad is 82 and old school and traveling aboard to see concert and so upset with this it has spoiled this wonderful experience with Andre Rieu in Maastricht in his home town so my advice stay well clear of this company cheats.”
“Disgraceful company. They show you one price, take your payment details, use them and then you see they have added on loads of extras and you have been charged, if you are lucky, twice as much as the ticket price, many have been charged much more. I immediately tried to cancel once I saw how much they were charging me but they won’t let you. Many people have also been sold false tickets and have been turned away from events. They are crooks, worse than ticket touts.”
“I strongly recommend to NOT BUY OR SELL ANYTHING ON VIAGOGO!!!
Are you guys kidding me? This is a complete rip-off… and not for the first time! They are selling things they dont even have! No sense of resposability – no guarantees – no communication, such a disgrace of a company.
It's unbelievable that your website is still working. I see that this is not just my opinion. I never saw a feedback review so poor!!!
Hope you will get broke. #ShutdownViagogo.”
“I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. Totally con. I bought way over priced tickets through then which were re-sale as they had someone else’s name, I re-sold them to viagogo. Only to receive half my money back which Iv still not received any money. Contacted them every day to be told different reasons why I’ve not had payment. It’s now been over 3 weeks since the event. Do not use for any reason, don’t understand why it’s not been shut down.”
“I purchased a world cup ticket which arrived over a week after the game and even though the tracking number says it they insist it arrived in time. I lost airline tickets because without my ticket I couldn't get into Russia. I had to open a dispute with my credit card.”
