I paid almost $1600 for tickets to Midnight Oil. I tried to get a refund when I didn’t receive my tickets. They refused. They finally sent through tickets which were on the lawn and told me I had to bring my own chairs. I have elderly parents and children and when I explained this they said there was nothing I could do. I had to send 78 emails to get one phone call which was completely useless. The tickets I paid for are worth a third of what I paid on the legitimate site. I am absolutely livid. They ought to be shut down. NEVER buy fro. This site. They are crooks and they are thieves. I could not get a refund despite contacting them close to 100 times. They are the worst company in the world.

Save yourself some time and money by going directly to Ticketmaster! Viagogo does business in an extremely shady and unethical way. Before adding my personal experience at the bottom of this review, I took the liberty of offering up a few facts about the company below. I encourage you to take the time to read this before throwing your money out the window. As of October 2020, the company had 26 legal and government actions filed against them by multiple countries. They also have class actions suits filed against them by countries (not just individuals). Their CEO was let go from StubHub in 2004, after which he started Viagogo, and has since encompassed quite the negative reputation: In May 2018, BBC News reported that the UK Government's digital minister advised that consumers should not use Viagogo, one of the big four secondary ticket sites. Margot James said: “Don’t choose Viagogo - they are the worst”. In August 2018, the UK's Competition and Markets Authority took Viagogo to the High Court for breaking the law; Baker did not issue any comment or statement. The company reached a resolution with the CMA in November 2018. In January 2019, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said Eric Baker risked jail over failure to properly protect customers. My story: As you can see from the first picture, below, they do not show you the actual seat numbers they are selling you. It wasn't until I accepted the tickets and they were transferred to Ticketmaster that I found out they had sold me tickets quite a distance from the exact section that I had clicked on during the purchase. I've tried resolving it and received multiple robotic emails (images below), one of which makes absolutely no sense referring to my UK Ticketmaster account. I live in the US...don't have a UK account. I spoke with customer service to request an exchange of these bogus tickets (offering to pay more if I had to) for ones that I had originally tried to purchase. The woman kept insisting that they have a strict policy of no refunds because the third-party seller needs to be paid. That would make sense if it weren't for the fact that the last email I received, after being forced to resell my tickets (my only way out of this) states that I will not receive my money until 8 days after the event (screenshot also provided below). In my defense, I am very fuzzy right now with COVID and a little off my game, but I am not dumb enough to just take them at their word. Please be wary of this company. Their practices are helping them remain extremely profitable!

Total scam..paid for platinum level seats at Mexican tennis open and received the worst tickets in the stadium at the very top. We were promised to receive the tickets one day prior and got the wrong tickets 2 hours before leaving no time for alternate arrangements. Throughout the whole process they strung us along asking for more time and promising equal or better tickets until time was out. The literally never responded. Do not by tickets through this company and if you do, use a credit card and plan on disputing the charge and not making the event.

I paid£211 for UB40 concert in March for myself and my partner.I definitely booked sitting as the email said sitting. When the ticket arrived it stated STANDING and the price was for £49.50 each. I made several phone calls and email and they insisted that it was for standing, even though I had proof of sitting. I would not booked standing as I had several physical health issues. They did not care. This sight is a bunch of THIEVES. At all cost please avoid buying from them as they will only take your money and not delivered as purchased. They need to be stopped from selling anything. I will put this on every review sights until they are stopped. I am a pensioner and £211 is a lot of money for me, but I have always wanted to see ub40 in concert and I am unable to use the tickets as its Standing. The people on the phone speaks very poor English. Please do not purchased any thing from them and stop them from ripping off other people PLEASE, PLEASE avoid them at all cost.

Avoid at all costs! For me tickets bulk bought by this outfit and resold at more than 10x face value, meaning I couldnt access the desired seats. Have heard examples of fake tickets issued. This company needs to disappear!

Took 3 years to get a refund after being palmed off time and time again with excuses, brought 3 tickets for my wife and daughters to see Pussycat Dolls originally for may 2019. They should be closed down they truly are woeful, never ever again.

Do not trust this company! They took £60 out of my account when I was unable to upload the ticket in advance when I made it clear the tickets were not yet released. They cancelled the sale and charged me £60. I have tried to speak to various people to discuss this but keep being told managers will ring back and they never do. I have also emailed and received a generic email that does not relate to my query. Do not go with viagogo there are so many better websites out there to sell tickets on. The staff on the phone are so rude.

I wish I would read the reviews! Avoid! The dodgiest web I've ever seen! I tried to sell 2 tickets for an exhibition in London, dated 27th November 2021. It says due to the corona situation it will take 21 days to process payment just to be sure that the event took place. Here we are, 6th January they still haven't paid me and when I asked for the payment they said I have to prove them that the event wasn't cancelled! Wouldn't the buyer tell them if there was any cancellation or problem? I have replied that how I'm supposed to prove? they replied: 'it can be any social network which shows that the event took place! How I'm supposed to find that? why they didn't say this at the first? They reply like a robot, same repetitive answers.

Viagogo is a scam!!! not a reliable company and web site. Avoid using it. I bought tickets for a concert in Mexico. I thought I was paying in Mexican pesos but was in US dollars!!! I paid exorbitant prices for 2 tickets. No refund policy. and if you want to resell tickets you get paid until 8 days after the event. i recommed to never never never deal with this trash company. At his time they have no pay my money back. I am going to present a lawsuit against them. I will keep you posted.

Firstly, I was charged double the price of each actual ticket (£114) Two people who we had bought tickets for decided not to go so we tried to resell them but the system would not process any of it. We telephoned them multiple times to assist us but were unable to resolve the problem but they do not consider it to be their problem! When you are able to resell the tickets, it is only for the actual price on the ticket, which was half what we paid initially. These people are making millions out of general, hardworking people! I do not understand how it can even be legal tbh as you are not allowed ticket touts outside venues so why are you allowed them on line????

Purchased tickets but turned out 25% of the advertised 'ticket price' was their booking fee. So it cost me £60 just in booking fees just to buy 2 tickets. The website pop-ups during purchased put huge pressure on to make the purchase fast. Then the policy is no refunds at all! Complete rip off. Disgusting customer service. Outrageous that this is allowed.
