“Happy to take your money,
Concert postponed My son is unable to go next year as he is moving aboard.
You sold the tickets for him and now will not give him the money back till 8 days after the concert which is next July!!!
Double ticket money!!!”
“Stay away from them!!! If there is anything lower than 0 it will be a rating for them! After 20 mins of purchase and requested to cancel due to not clear info regarding the concert venue. They refused to cancel and refund my payment. When I contacted them, I did not receive any ticket and the bank has not processed payment yet so it is easy for them to cancel but they refused. So easy for them to get someone's hard earned money. Had to file a dispute from my bank to claim back my money. Never again will go to their website. Definitely a Scam and they are not looking after their customers. Beware and think before you purchase from them. Learned the hard way!”
“So this started with tickets my partner bought two years ago for a concert last year, this was then postponed to October 9th which is fine.
Two days ago we receive an email saying we would be provided a link to download the tickets. Which never arrived.
This was made even offer by the fact in a week our collection method was three different things. Firstly to collect from the venue, second to meed a random man named Christopher Steven who was supposedly our seller, and lastly to get them sent to us as a Ticketmaster ticket transfer which never occurred.
We called and had them apparently "re-transferred" twice back to back, neither of these turned up either.
To make matters worse they refuse to provide any other seller details, and the one number we are provided routinely links to an immediate "system busy" yet apparently they've spoke to him three times and he's "confirmed the transfer" (something I vastly doubt).
We've had to send the same proof 4 times to prove we don't have them, and they are already providing excuses not to refund us saying as the tickets have been sent it's on us.
Allegedly Ticketmaster transfers don't work on phone (however I transferred my partner tickets to take her sister to see JLS via Ticketmaster, they arrived immediately as bought through a reputable and trustworthy merchant, so again this is an outright lie), and wanted yet again the same screenshots but on PC rather than Mobile.
The Yungblud gig is tomorrow, we have 1 of the three tickets required (I bought mine on Ticketmaster not trusting Viagogo, now I'm glad I did), however even that one will no longer be used.
I know we'll never see the tickets or the money again, nearly £200 wasted and my partners friend disappointed on her birthday present she had to wait an extra year for.
Emails are generic copy and paste replies also, the phone they are clearly reading from a script repeatedly telling us how to click the link in the email we have told them a dozen times a call we don't have. Sending broken links in emails to submit evidence and the list goes on.
Avoid these scammers at all cost.
It's no reason them and their sister company StubHub are currently the centre point of a criminal investigation by the CMA. The real question is why are they still allowed to operate if suspected of such activities? A complete failure of the UK justice system.”
“First and last purchase. Had a problem with the tickets with the tickets I purchased. Tried to contact Viagogo for three days before concert. Called their number, put on hold for a couple of minutes then then was disconnected. Never had a chance to speak to anyone. Missed concert. Will go back to Ticket master”
“Dont touch them, scam artists. Take your money prior to covid. Then refuse to refund when event cancelled. The reschedule with less than weeks notice. Again refund refusal”
“Booked and paid £247.00 for two Bronze tickets fir show when tickets arrived face value 39.50. Rang them to complain and they hung up on me.
I shall always ensure future I never have any involvement this company and ensure all around me are aware.”
“Criminals. These people are legalized thieves. They should be in jail. Why is no agency doing anything about these felons? They spoke my money, read the reviews, they are stealing everyone's money.”
“I feel violated, this is definitely a scam site, I have tried calling, one call lasted 43 minutes… no answers to my questions… please avoid… you can get tickets much cheaper !!! Plus the Customer service is so bad … I over paid by £70/80 … I want to cry this is so hurtful … Fiat girl was laughing and just put me on hold for 8 min without anything… I was lost something joyful became very stressful …”
“Zero stars are what is deserved for what amounts to a criminal organisation. Their claim that ALL costs are identified in advance of the purchase is simply a lie. An additional £35 added post purchase authorisation to “fund the Viagogo platform”. Totally dishonest and unscrupulous. I had used the site a couple of times previously (seriously inflated prices but at least it was the price advertised) but never again. This lot should be closed down if the regulator cannot impose severe minimum standards. Customer ‘service’ utterly diabolical and ‘provided’ on a premium rate number outside the U.K. Avoid at all costs. An OCG in my my opinion. Buyer beware: please read the myriad negative reviews.”
“totally agree with the previous review. If there were no stars, that is what they would get. Bought tickets. Never received them. although they said they had. Only to be told they haven't got them and sending back a refund. Daughter really up upset as all her friends have now gone and she cant. Use at your peril!!!!”
“I bought in February 2 concert tickets. Strangely, I didn't know Viagogo so I didn't know it was a non official selling tickets platform. Although the tickets were much more expensive, because of the lockdown, I just thought venues increased their prices. I received my tickets electronically and noticed the name of Andrew Newman. When looking closer, I saw the T&C which forbid to resell tickets or they become void and you're refused entry to the premises. I contacted Viagogo to ask for refund. They've been refusing for the last 5 months coming with various excuses. They claim that all the information were given before I bought the tickets which is obviously not true. Why would I buy tickets that I can't use. I since then joint the Facebook group Victims of Viagogo( yes, it's so bad that there is a group) and the amount of victims is heartbreaking. I am lucky as it's just £140 but for some it's thousands of pounds they lost. For your information, Andrew Newman is a famous Scottish tout that buy tickets and resell them at a much higher price on Viagogo. He makes millions on the back of people. Viagogo should be shut but some companies like Google get lots of money from them. Avoid at all cost.”
“Total rip off, sold me 300£ fifth row seated tickets, I recieved 45£ ticket with no seat allocation. They refuse to refund as they "guarantee the seller gets paid" , I raised dispute and have refund via credit card as the only option. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM SO DO NOT USE THEM”
“We bought tickets for an Eagles concert in August 2020 which was postponed due to Covid19. We were then told it was cancelled in June 2021. Viagogo offered a voucher worth 115% of the ticket price, clearly that want you to take this and trying to insist we do so by saying the date to request a refund has passed and that it will take "several months" to refund our money. All you get is sstock email replies, no way to get through to tthe help desk. Every review I have read about this company is terrible, there are lawsuits against them. Do not buy from these people. They are unscrupulous and dishonest.”
“Ordered tickets for an event in April 2020.it has been cancelled 3 times now October 2021.its abroad so flights, accommodation etc not taken into account. They have offered no refund or alternative. PANDEMIC SCAMMERS. HAPPY TO EARN INTEREST FROM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY”
“Steely Dan show postponed for a full year. Steely Dan’s website says ticket holders can get a refund yet Viagogo refuses to work with Ticketmaster to get the buyer a refund.”
