“I have received the Frog Bike I bought for my son’s 4th birthday 1 and a half month after I purchased it. 1 and half month after!
It was very poorly assembled and had to assemble lots of parts myself, which took lots of time.
Unfortunately, the chain keeps skipping which would make riding it a very poor and frustrating experience.
Stay away, this business is terrible.”
“Purchased a Frog bike on 15 October for my son’s birthday on 3 November. The site showed the bike was sold off, but a pop up said they were expecting new stock on 18 October. Based on a 2 days dispatch time and delivery within 2-3 days there was plenty of time to receive on time for my son’s 4th birthday.
I chased them few times but as of today (10 November) the bike has not arrived yet.
This left a 4yo boy heartbroken and parents very irritated and unimpressed.
Stay away like plague, Winstanleys Bikes is a dodgy and scammy business who don’t care about they customers and their needs, and would do anything you take your money, including lying, taking advantage of you, overpromising and underdelivering.”
“Terrible service. On 18/9, I was informed my order could not be met due to being 'sold out and discontinued' - clearly a contract that would never be completed. Winstanleys then opted to retain my refund for nearly a month until (I) had to contact them to 'ask' for it back on 10/10;

“Ordered specifically with Winstanley Bikes as they claimed (and still do) 6-8 dispatch. Day 10 and no bike, this meant several phone calls to them who advised was in transit and would be with them Monday (day 12), passed blame onto Cube total lack of ownership.
Bike arrives in store Tuesday I had to chase again. I'm told later that day via email there is an issue in which both bar ends have not been sent. Responded within 50 minutes to no reply that day so another day missed, something a very quick call could have resolved. I had to call again the following day to follow-up on my email advising to put any bar ends on it and to send me the correct ones when they arrive.
Person I spoke with advised only chrome and couldn't put black ones on as they originally offered due to cost (£22)... keep in mind bike delivery already significantly delayed. Spoke to manager and explained situation and why I had picked them as supplier in first place, no care given at all. I did ask for black bar ends but was told no due to the cost (as mentioned above) and that bike was already on offer and they don't charge postage... explained their offerings have nothing to do with me. The manager then advised they do not offer compensation for delays despite it taking double the length of time, in fact she advised they would normally keep it there until the new bar ends in stock a further 2weeks!
Day 16! Bike is finally delivered. Over twice as long without as much as an apology from Winstanley Bikes. Will absolutely not be using them again. Overpromise, underdeliver!”
“Seems normal looking at other reviews which I wish I had read first! I ordered an item by mistake and filled in online request form but got no response and phoned and never got answered and so rather than risking return and no refund I'll swap with my local bike repairer. This company shouldn't be in business and seems a professional scam!”

“Ordered a bicycle for my daughters birthday. They took payment, stated it would be delivered within a week and then emailed to confirm the order a day later. 2 days later received an email confirming it was out of stock and would be 3 months. It's 2024, you should not be taking payment for stock you don't have. Probably have to wait a week for my refund now too! Avoid”

“First I ordered a bike that was in stock and ready to dispatch then to get a email confirming the bike on a back order fr cube and they don't know when it will come in I left for 4 to 5 day still winstaley didn't know where the bike was said there was 200 bike on the same order but have no tracking pulled a red flag for me waited another 2 days and they said that they have the smaller size frame in I was fed up of waiting so just took it once delivered I set the bike up first road ride was OK the gears were crunching and slipping got home and noticed that the bike derailer was holding no tension anymore and I was getting chain slap I called the company up who said they would speak to there technician and call me back 5 days later I am still waiting for a replie when on another ride to see it it could sort its self out derailer ended up in the cassette and snapped of hanger the bike was not fit for purpose so got it fixed and got rid of it lost alot of money in the process
Moral of this story is don't waste your money with them they hardly answer your calls they hardly email back and the bikes in my eye are clearly not looked over before shipping
I definitely will never shop here again or recommend anyone else to as u will be disappointed”
“Bought a bike on 17th November and was told a few days later they had to order it in/it should arrive by 27th November. Then I was told the end of this week. I've tried e-mailing and calling to gain an update but no-one is responding/the phone number just keeps you in a loop with hold music, then ringing, then back to hold music. Based on recent reviews I'm starting to worry if this place is a scam.

Firstly I purchased a bike which stated was in stock ready to dispatch, this turns out it was not the case after waiting 4 days to receive a confirmation or any information I decided to call the store after spending a good 2hrs trying to get through I gave up, I then sent an email and even this took 7 days for a response (in between these 7 days I tried to cal” numerous times each day and again could never get through ) once I finally got a response via email to say the bike wasn’t in stock and awaiting on a delivery from supplier. 15 days later the order arrived.
Upon opening the box everything seemed fine other than the fact the bike does not come with any pedals! Pink slip stating bike has been inspected and built and is safe to use .. so off I went and within 1hr of riding on a downhill mountain trail the back brake cable pops out leaking fluid all over the place luckily I managed to come to a stop without any harm, took the bike to the local bike hub who inspected the bike to say it was very poorly put together and should never have left the warehouse and cost me £100 to have it rectified and continue with my ride ! Tried to contact winstanley by phone and of course yet again no answer after numerous attempts and 2-3 hours trying.
After sending an email which took several days to respond to state no pedals in box and the issues I had , I get offered a free set of pedals for my inconvenience or the money back it cost to get the bike fixed, after accepting the money back they tell me I have to call them to process the refund. All in all 2 weeks later I’m still waiting for my refund .”

My wife rode it twice peddle fell of.
Guess what not covered under warranty
But to add insult to injury I was shocked to be told i must of put the peddle on wrong my fault like I've never put a peddle on a push bike in my life, very insulting. Then I was told to take it to a local bike shop to be fixed a bike that's 2 weeks old ya right!
