"I purchased two products on the 22nd May while they had a special promo. From ordering in the past I usually expect to wait a week before despatch. However, I getting an email on 31st saying my order was delayed no big deal, I can wait. I then received one of the products from my order on the 1st June, which was great. Later followed by another email on the 4th June regarding the other product being delayed. I looked on the site and noticed it said in stock, so I emailed customer support asking for a status update and why it was listed in stock if they were emailing about delays. I received a very over worded, most likely copy and pasted scripted email that didn\u2019t answer my question and basically was saying it wasn\u2019t in stock, but passing the blame on to 3rd parties.\r\n\r\nIt is now the 24th June (just over a month from my initial order). I didn\u2019t receive any further emails regarding my order being delayed so I decided to email customer support again, just asking for confirmation my order was still live and hadn\u2019t been cancelled. But, disappointingly I received pretty much the same copy, pasted email from before that didn\u2019t address my question. I want the item so I don\u2019t want to cancel, besides I used a 25% off voucher that I doubt I\u2019d get back if I cancelled.\r\n\r\nOne good thing is they don\u2019t take payment until the items are despatched. However, this is probably so they are not in breach of contract, or due to some sort of regulation when they fail to send within a reasonable timeframe.\r\n\r\nUpdate #2 - 29th June\r\nI was very grateful to have received an email on 26th June from customer services with an order update that didn\u2019t feel scripted and was written by a human. Thank you.\r\n\r\nHowever, I have just received an email today saying there was a problem processing my payment method, which is probably because it has taken over a month to finally go through and due to being item 2 of 2. Unfortunately, on trying to resolve their issue through the website they don\u2019t give you a PayPal payment option! I am not sure why as you can checkout using PayPal just fine and it is listed as a payment method on the website and I want to use my PayPal credit for businesses I don\u2019t trust (just like I did originally on my initial checkout). I have now had to send yet another message to support which will take up to 24\/48 hours. I would call but trying to find a phone number on the site is like finding a needle in a haystack.\r\n\r\nUpdate #3\r\nToday I am convinces I have never spoken to a human, but that it must be just an AI chat bot.\r\n\r\nOn 1st July \u201cShannon\u201d confirmed that it was an internal payment issue and they would let me know when they hear back from PayPal (spoiler never heard back regarding this).\r\n\r\nOn 10th July I suggested giving my PayPal account details so they could try sending another payment, which I then provided on the 11th July as they said they \u201cwill raise this with our payments team\u201d.\r\n\r\nOn 15th July I get an odd reply saying \u201c This item encountered a payment problem and was not charged for. Please can you update your payment\u201d. I was confused with this response and it made me feel I was back to square one, and that I was not talking to a real person but a chat bot. After explaining everything all over again, I then suggested my only option is to cancel and reorder, but I explicitly asked not to cancel unless they could guarantee my product awaiting despatch would be held back for my next order and that I\u2019d receive a new 25% discount code.\r\n\r\nFast forward to today 17th July. I receive an email saying my order is cancelled. WTH Zavvi? I have never dealt with such an incompetent company."

“I made my purchase July 5, 2021. Zavvi ship my order July 23, 2021 (sure only $4.99 shipping, but...) today is... Aug 7, 2021 and my Item still has not arrived. It's being shipped via FedEx.”

“Wrong item delivered, it was a cheap knock off item and my son was very disappointed. Customer service kept fobbing me off, did not actually listen to what was being said have had enough of the experience so am giving up now completely. AVOID this company altogether.”

“Ordered Darth Vader helmet for a birthday gift on 3/7,it is now 9/7 and still no idea when parcel is to be delivered? Been showing at depot all week when tracked on website Customer service not much help and birthday was today so no longer want the order I am now trying to cancel order ,will update soon …Can’t cancel order as now I’m told it’s in the delivery process?….the parcel has not left their depot yet ,been sat there for 6 days…CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL”

“My son is a massive collector and has been left broken hearted again by this company not the first time you have done this I paid in full for pre order in January 2021 6 months later after me sending emails asking about my order and getting told different excuses now they are saying they can no longer get my item after making us wait 6 months this is disgusting service i will never use this company again you have lost a very valuable customer”

“Absolute scam. Was advised payment not received, so paid again, only for a further payment to come out my account. 3 payments 2 items, proof all sent to them only to be advised "the finance team have noted no additional payments made". Scam artists, stay clear, administration x3 on the horizon by the loos of things.”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Iv been waiting since last year for a refund for items that never arrived! Iv given this 1 star as it’s the only way I could leave a review! I have contacted Zavvi many times and they promised my refund was on its way but it has never materialised! Don’t be fooled by them and don’t let them steal your hard earned money! I’m a single parent and can’t afford to lose money!”

“I wish I could leave 0 stars & update so called assisted ?! I wish I could leave 0 stars Poor customer services 3 orders not received emailed & Facebook messaged constantly got back to me today saying no refund as after being told to wait as delays to covid now being told I waited too long !!! Out of pocket £178/£156/£78 because I payed via Laybuy/open pay & Clearpay!!!! Do not trust there pre orders as this what I did an haven’t received with covid thought there could have been delays but they have said no refund !!!!! Disgusting I will not shop with zavvi or any of the hut group ever again !!!! Spent the past 9 days with zavvi customer services over refund of orders not received !! They ask me do I want a refund & then refuse refund & then close my account so I can’t continue my complaint !!! This company is the worst over £300 out of pocket an because I used kalarna/Clearpay I can’t reverse the charge so BUYER BEWARE !!”

“The worst customer service ever. No wonder they do not a phone number or chat. I order two sweatshirts back in November of 2020. An XL and XXL and the fits and quality were great. March 26, 2021 I ordered XL and XXL. It took over 3 weeks to receive the parcel. The fits were M and XL. The waistband in the XL (medium) was overstretched as if someone larger than myself attempted to wear it. Now I have to pay to ship overseas and after reading all the consumer complaints I do not expect to ever see a refund for the product or the cost of shipping.”

“Hello, I'm not sure what everyone else is talking about because I have nothing but good things to say about Zavvi. I ordered a Cable Guys Banjo-Kazooie controller holder at an amazing price. It shipped on the 13th and arrived on the 16th of April 2021. I will be shopping with them more for sure.”

“They always have nice stuff for cheaper price. My boyfriend has ordered some decorations and clothes from them, I ordered a hoodie to his order. His stuff came before the hoodie was even shipped, although they were ordered together. I had to wait a month for the hoodie to be shipped. When it finally arrived it smelled worst than the cheap stuff you get at aliexpress. I made sure to wash it following the instructions, which led to me discovering that they have send the wrong size. Then the hoodie coloured all my clothes and the stamp went off. Also my boyfriend has ordered something else and it never came. They were not very keen on responding him and it took also around a month for him to get his money back.”

“Horrible and worst company to deal with. Bulk bought incredibles t shirts for a work dress up event a month in advance and realising that the order was still processing a week before we need Ed the tshirts, I tried to cancel my order and they flat out refused. After harassing them for a whole week to cancel the order, the staff at Zavvi began to abuse me by accusing me that I was in the wrong and that they can’t do anything to help me cancel my order EVEN WHEN THE ORDER HASNT BEEN BAGGED AND LEFT THE WAREHOUSE YET. The only way I got my refund back was by making a claim through my bank. AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS!!!”

“Customer service has been abysmal, took 4 months to get a reply and then the reply came through another email which surprise surprise you can’t reply to as it goes to a donotreply mailbox. Don’t trust their delivery times that they confirm before you order because apparently that can be 7 days out and still you’re expected to accept it. AVOID.”

“I ordered a bag and a controller holder, however only received 1 of these items. When trying to contact anyone from Zavvi I either get a automated email saying I'll get a dispatch email when its dispatched which doesn't help me at all, or get no response on the live chat! Guess that's my money gone down the drain as I dont think I'll be able to get in contact with anyone at all about my missing item...”

“First time using Zavvi for clothes and have to say am very disappointed. Delivery date has come and long gone now - order sat on processing. Several emails later and I can generic responses saying it’s been dispatched for another person to say it’s not. Still on processing and just told to wait.... great, thanks for your help! Joke.”

“I was drawn in by the 'Zavvi exclusives' I couldn't get anywhere else so I put together a basket worth hundreds, then went to pay and their 'next day delivery' option disappeared. No problem I thought, I can deal with standard delivery. 2 weeks and 5 emails later and still no update, the whole order is stuck on "processing" and the responses from Zavvi are generic copy pastas telling me to wait until the status changes, when it says the estimated dispatch was last Monday.. They wouldn't cancel or refund the order so I had to contact my bank to refund it manually and charge back. Never use this company, their 5 star reviews are as questionable as their nonexistent customer service. Avoid like the pandemic.”

“I ordered a switch 30.3.21 paid for next day delivery, I read reviews and after reading them I didn’t have much hope of Switch coming, I live in Cornwall so I really didn’t think it would be here the next day, but it arrived today 31.3.21, I had updates and emails so I could track it. So I’m a very happy mum and more importantly il gave a very very happy daughter when she comes home from school, FAB !!”
