I wanted to order some items for my daughters' birthday but was unable to get the online store to accept the discount codes advertised. The discount codes worked fine - individually - but if I inserted another one the previous one would become invalid. After contacting a representative the solution was to split the orders up to include only items from 1 promotion at a time and ordering them. The discount codes also had a cap because I was ordering a decent amount of items the cap was met fairly quickly which means I would have to subsplit the cart even further. After explaining that 1) I live in a 0% VAT Rated country (Outside the EU) and 2) Every individual order would implement a huge handling fee from the goverment postal service - I asked if the items (despite everything) could grouped together for shipping instead of all of the items shipping individually (£7 - £10 pounds per package) the answer was no - it's just not going to happen, that's not how they do things. If it were me I'd be happy to accomodate a new cusomer and have his hefty purchase grouped before shipping in any way possible to show flexibility. It's also shocking that a company as big as Zavvy doesn't have Zero VAT rating figured out - at the same time it offers worldwide shipping.

Poor service. Stupidly believed website when they said estimated delivery 3- 4 days. Ordered 12.2.21 and still waiting. Enquired twice and now estimated delivery says 22.3.21!! Will not use zavvi again.

Such a horrific online experience with ZAVVI and this is not the first occasion that goods were LATE or LOST IN TRANSIT!!! What an abysmal website ZAVVI are, totally on the ball to accept your order and take your MONEY. No phone number even for customer support which is all but nonexistent they take way to long to respond and going on others who have complained I imagine ZAVVI post out bogstandard replies. My order was placed on 28th February 2021..... I received dispatched email saying..... "Your order has been dispatched and will be with you shortly! Delivery is estimated between Wed 03 Mar - Thu 04 Mar We send each item as soon as it is available. If items you ordered are not listed below, you will receive a further email once they have been sent." After taking the day off on the 3rd & 4th March 2021 so either had to lose 2 days annual holiday or lose 2 days wages!!! I contacted ZAVVI customer services and I received the following email...... "Thank you for your recent order ********* and enquiry. We are pleased to confirm that your order has been dispatched and is currently with our delivery provider, if tracking is available for your order the tracking details will be in your dispatch email. At this time we would like to apologise for the delays you have experienced and would like to assure you that we are actively in contact with our courier provider and your order will be delivered soon. Thank you again for your patience and should you have any further questions please contact our customer services team, who will be happy to help. Best wishes Zavvi international Customer Service" Why on earth do ZAVVI give out Estimated time of Delivery and tell you... "your order has been dispatched and is currently with our delivery provider" Why no tracking available? Why no word on which Delivery Provider" ZAVVI has used so I can contact them directly with a tracking number? I shall post an update tomorrow evening once I see if they deliver or not by the Estimated time line or not!

I ordered an item back in December and it was awaiting dispatch since then. I have tried to cancel my order and get a refund but they state that "We are sorry that we have not been able to fulfil your request as it has already been posted out to you or has already entered the dispatch process." It has not been posted out and has been awaiting dispatch with and estimated date of 28/12/20. Will never use again.

I ordered this product and the Mandalorian mug too. My first email on 11/12/20 stated my order would be with me by 04/01/2021. The second email on 20/01/21 said I should have the order by 28/02/2021. The third email on 25/02/2021 said I should have the order by 31/02/2021. I then receive an email today, 1st March 2021 telling me that I should receive my order by 30/09/21. Seriously 10 moths after I place and paid for the two Geeki Tikis and I'm not guaranteed they with me by then. Customer service is poor as no one will call me to discuss. They would rather cowardly chat over messenger! I went onto the website for Geeki Tikis, which is based in USA, and they are able to supply me the order with in 7 days. If they can why can't Zavvi? Why do I need to wait as a customer 10 months?????

They do not respond, cannot be accessed by e mail, live chat not available, only social media where for every correspondence all details have to be given again and again. Items not available and cancelled are send months later when the item is already long bought somewhere else. Do not come near them, terrible customer service.

Placed an order in November of 2020 for Christmas. Got some items before Christmas. Got a few more in January. Just got an email today (end of Feb.) that my last 2 items will ship by or before the end of March. Never again will I order from this site and would not recommend it to anyone.

I had 3 orders with about 20 items. And i had 15 complains on non delivery, broken item, bad packing, unsent items for a month and more, no answers from their "customer service" etc.etc.etc ....... The worst store ever. The most horrible, awful, terrible, disgusting and unpleasantly buying experience I ever had. Antun

Literally the worst company ever. Ordered an item in November- Never arrived. I've been asking for refund for last 2 weeks and they flat out refuse to send me money and keep on giving some random excuses. Literally this company will process charges, will deny that they have charged you and then make it difficult to get it back when you ask. Still no refund.Pathetic.

I will never order from this company again. This has taken over 2 months to receive a small item and still havent received it. All they say is its being processed. Herendous!

i ordered a minecraft bedside table lamp last night and it came 9 hours later as i paid £5 for next day delivery. delivery was SPOT on, but my item on the other hand i wish i could say the same. everything is great except for the lamp shade itself, it’s got one bent side and the rest looks all beaten up and damaged. looking at these reviews i’m not sure if they’ll even do anything about it, does anybody know anything i should do?

Ordered a box set Blu ray, didn’t pay the extra charge for tracking, this is 2021, who charges for tracking??? Took forever to receive confirmation it was actually shipped, and asking me to sign up, why? If I have to pay extra to track what I paid them for, why am I giving them anymore info? Still haven’t received my package. Will never order anything from them again.

I placed an order 14th Jan with Zavvi, all showing that shipping and products are within Australia only to find out after ordering that it’s coming from the UK. The invoice also said your credit card won’t be charged until items are dispatched - lie 1 as it got taken out straight away. On the 25th Jan, I was getting a little concerned as items still hadn’t been dispatched so I’d contacted them, to which they replied since it’s print on demand it’ll take an extra 10 days to ship out. This is lie 2 as they’re Jurassic Park theme shirts so there’s no way they could be print on demand. I then looked up reviews (if only I’d done before) and realised it’s all a scam. I sent them a message saying I felt they were being untruthful and that I’d like a refund. Of course, as soon as I’d asked for a refund the next day I got a dispatched email saying receive between 2-4 Feb. I’d emailed them again saying so where’s the tracking number?? To which they said the order wasn’t selected with tracking (ahh ok) and that it’ll take 30 days to get here (so much for 2-4 Feb). I said thanks for nothing and for taking my money/being a scam and I know I’ll never receive my parcel. They didn’t say anything to my comments about that, of course. Very dodgy website. I’ll be VERY surprised if a parcel does show up but this is not how websites offering services like this should run. THE END.

If I could could rate my experience as 0 stars, I would. Let me start by first saying that I've ordered quite a lot from Zavvi recently and have never had a bad word to say about them until now and that's due to the sole fact that I've never needed to deal with their "customer service" team before. I placed my order on the 30th of November with plenty of time for my items to arrive before Christmas. The order was £150 worth of goods so it's not exactly like this was small time order that probably doesn't matter to this company - it's a decent chunk of change. My order arrived roughly around the 17th of December without a returns label and was the completely wrong item. After explaining that this was a gift for Christmas, that I didn't have a printer and that I didn't feel safe locating a printer near me due to the recent pandemic I asked whether they could just send out the items I ordered along with a returns form and I would then return their item that probably costs no more than £5-10 in manufacturing - a request I don't feel is that outlandish given the circumstances. This request was denied in multiple back and forth conversations with several members of the team - each one more useless than the last. After being instructed to return it via the post office and promised that they would refund the delivery charge, I finally caved wanting to be done with this ordeal and so that was that...or so I thought! Nearly a month and a half after my original order was placed, my return arrived back with them on the 12th of January which they didn't even acknowledge and I had to chase. After contacting them on the 18th I was simply told to "be patient". A week later on the 25th, I still hadn't had a response so I contacted them again stating that if their response wasn't that it was being sorted as we speak, to pass me through to a manager. The same person responded once again asking me to "be patient". Patient. Really? It's nearly been 2 months since I placed the original order and I'm being told to "be patient". I once again asked to speak to a manager as apparently "Kate" can't even accomplish the simplest of tasks such as "reading". I then had an email off of "Emily" who still to this day I have no idea whether she is even a manager or not but what concerned me more is that she informed me that one of the items I had been waiting 2 months for was now out of stock. 2 months of waiting. 5 "customer service" operatives (Trisha, Ash, Kate, Emily & Ross) and yet not a single member of this "team" thought it might be a good idea to keep the stock to one side given that apparently the entire Zavvi team knew my situation? There was a point earlier in the email thread that I expressed my concerns about the items going out of stock however this warning just appears to have been ignored. I don't even care that they sent me the wrong item. It's a simple mistake that can be corrected (or so you'd think). I don't even care that this didn't even arrive in time for Christmas. All I care about is how laughably tragic Zavvi's "customer service" team is. In a time when people are desperate for any forms of employment, how is THIS their "customer service" team? How is THIS the best they have to offer a customer (let alone a returning customer). I'm not the sort of person to leave a negative review and I'm definitely not the sort to give customer service teams a hard time especially as I know what it's like to work on customer services and the hardships such a role ensues. However, Zavvi's team doesn't know the first thing about customers and the service they deserve. In light of this information and after requesting a full refund including my delivery and returns delivery cost (which was promised to me prior), I have been informed that 2 of the 3 items I'd ordered will be refunded and nothing has been said about the delivery charges as of yet. Not that I'm surprised as completely disregarding customer contact seems to be Zavvi's style apparently. I have yet to find out whether I will receive the rest of my refund in the future however one thing is for certain - I will not be shopping with Zavvi ever again.
