Customer service non-existent. I ordered the January Zbox with a 1 month subscription, wrongly thinking I would only receive the January Zbox. I was then sent the February one as they had put my order on auto renewal. I told them I didn't want it and they just stated return the item and we'll refund you when it arrives. No instruction as to how to return it was given so I returned it by writing 'Return to Sender, item was not ordered' on the label next to the return address. After two weeks I have still not received the refund and they say that the item hasn't returned back and I haven't supplied them with a tracking number no refund will be given until they receive it. Considering I never ordered the thing and I was given no returns instructions I think their customer service is disgusting. There is no phone number to ring and they basically having you running round in circles using their clunky online message system. I have now contacted the Ombudsman to see if I can get my refund as its not my fault a) they sent the item or b) the post office has lost it.

Well, I can't deny the good price and I guess zavvi is good if you don't have to use the customer services. My parcels was lost during delivery (which can happen, I understand),for that I don't blame them. The problem is the customer service, they "reply" to you request with generic, non-relevent answer. You feel like you are talking to robots. They completely ignore your specific questions, and allow themselves 24-48h before you get any updates. When you contact the feedback team about your experience, they just are "sorry for me being unhappy" give themselves up to 48h again and bye bye. They just don't give a thing about you, once they got their money. As of now, after 28 days I still don't have what I paid for. The replacement item has been aproved by them last thursday, and is still not out for delivery. Worst customer service ever.

terrible company!!! avoid like the plague, they will take your money and you will never see your item. be warned. I read the bad reviews and still ordered. BIG mistake. good prices will make you think to take a chance but you might aswell get the money in your hand and just set it on fire

This company are a joke. PLEASE READ AND DO NOT USE THEM. I placed an order for 2 items of clothing on 9th December for Christmas. First, the order said that one item was not in stock, after saying it was, so the order was split. Neither item turned up, after both were confirmed as shipped. The customer service is pointless, you WILL wait days for a response, and the response will not be followed up and will be from a different person every time. Plus, every time you message them and they reply they close the message thread as complete. In total, I've sent over 30 messages just trying to get 2 items. After 2 months the latest response was, 'our team are looking into you're query and will respond soon, thank you for your patience.' 2 MONTHS! No contact number, no follow ups and no idea. They have some great products and I'm glad for all you that got them, but I've never had such poor service. DO NOT USE... EVER!!!!!!!

Ordered a "Zavvi Exclusive" steelbook Blu-ray back in November 2015, my first of multiple pre-orders with Zavvi. Officially released yesterday (February 1st 2016) but my order was sat awaiting stock! Emailed Zavvi asking why, their response: - "I am really sorry that this has not yet been dispatched. The Walk 3D (Includes 2D Copy) - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray] is on special order for you with our supplier but at this time they are unable to give me a date for when they will have it back in stock. In the meantime our buyers are trying to obtain this for you from other suppliers." This was pre-ordered LAST YEAR! I have now cancelled all my pre-orders and will take my business elsewhere (if they can't get the first one shipped why bother with the remaining orders).

Pre-ordered an item as a Christmas which was due for release at the beginning of Novemeber. On the release date no notification of dispatch and no update. Finally chased Zavvi middle of November to be told they were having trouble sourcing the item, why offer it as a pre-order then?!? Middle of Decmeber and still no notification or update and finally had to order though another company. Unfortunately due to the business of Christmas/New Year and the time that elapsed sice I ordered the item I forgot to cancel this item. Have now recieved an email to advise that they are shipping this item and depsite contacting them to stop the order this still arrived! I am now emailing back & forwards trying to get the item returned. They want to charge me £6.00 return and they want me to pay this up front via paypal? Absoultely shocked 1. That they want to charge me when they have inconvinienced me and 2. that they want additional money? Surely they should deduct this from my refund? Shocked does not even cover my feelings at present. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

I am in the United States and ordered a 6 dvd set for my daughter for Christmas. I did not know what a Region 2 was. When i first contacted customer service I was told they would refund the purchase price but not the shipping because it is stated on their website that it was a Region 2. I then got a message saying they would not refund anything because region 2 was stated on their website You would think that since it was paid for with American currency and being shipped to the United States that someone would have contacted me to make sure the the order was correct. First and last time ordering from this company.

Very poor Customer Service ... If anything goes wrong with your order there is no telephone number to call & e-mail contact gets you no results, just stalling, fobbing off messages. ... Steer well clear!

Having now experienced not 1 but 2 instances of incredibly poor customer service from Zavvi, I felt it my responsibility to share these stories in order to warn others that although their prices may be reasonable, don't expect much help from them should anything go wrong! The first instance relates to a promotion Zavvi were running in late 2014 whereby if you made a purchase using a particular payment method (MasterPass) you would receive a £10 voucher. Having received this voucher I attempted to use it, only to discover it was invalid. Having raised this issue with Zavvi (11th March 2015) they eventually informed me that they would issue a replacement voucher once they received them (15th April 2015). 9 months later, I've heard/received nothing more - which basically means I was lured into buying something under false pretenses! The second instance was following an attempt to return an item which I had been sent out due to confusions with subscriptions. Following an exchange of messages whereby I wasn't able to cancel my subscription prior to the items dispatch, I returned the item by post. I received confirmation of this on the 23rd December 2015, in an email indicating I would be issued a refund with 3-5 working days. I eventually received a refund on the 13th January, some 12 working days after they received my parcel, and this was only after me chasing them to reveal the refund hadn't even been processed due to some mistake their end! Having been burnt twice by Zavvi I personally will not be shopping with them again, as truth be told their customer service is amongst the most shambolic it has ever been my utter misfortune to receive.

A summary of my experience with this dreadful company - I was very patient and professional in my communications (which I have kept a record of - will happily forward this on if required): - Ordered a PS4 bundled with FIFA 15 and Uncharted collection on black Friday. Immediately cancelled when I saw the same deal with Until Dawn Extended for an additional £20 which I ordered instead. - Zavvi requested proof of address which was provided a couple of days later. - No progress was made with the order and having chased it up was told (direct quotes): "Sony Playstation 4...is on special order for you with out supplier", "Once your order has been sent you will receive an e-mail to tell you it is on its way". - A month later, still absolutely nothing. Chased it up again and got a message saying that my order had been cancelled (with no explanation why might I add). I enquired as to why this was and got a reply saying that it was because I had not provided proof of address (just unbelievable - clearly the customer service team don't put any effort into reading previous correspondence. A lot of their messages seem to be cut and paste responses also and specific questions are often avoided entirely). - At this point I was becoming a little fed up and sent a message requesting the order to be reinstated with proof attached that I had previously sent the information requested as well as reattaching proof of address. I was told that there was nothing that they could do about the order. In conclusion - I got messed about for over a month, wasted a great deal of my time sending messages and basically lost over £100 as I will now have to pay full price when I could have taken advantage of similar black Friday offers from other retailers. This is getting a little long so just a couple more issues in brief: - Absolutely no way to contact anyone via telephone/email (including the Hut Group generally) so the only individuals that are contactable are the apparently rather nonchalant customer service team. - Very buggy online messaging system - including issues such as submitting a message only to have the webpage loop to somewhere else entirely, having deleted everything you have written (as well as not submitting it). INCREDIBLY frustrating. As someone who buys a lot of tech/gadgets etc, I have entirely lost faith in the Zavvi brand before even receiving a single item from them. I have requested my account be cancelled (still no reply to this from Zavvi) and will certainly be sticking to Amazon and Ebay in future. NB: I have also submitted this same review to Trustpilot

Avoid!! This company can not be trusted order 3 DVDs and only received 1, have been waiting for these to be delivered since the 21/12/2015 waited until the 7/1/2016 still no DVDs and now prolonging a refund!! Bad customer service days waiting for a reply and avoiding any question they do not want to answer.

I ordered a dvd boxset for a christmas present and got the 2 to 3 day delivery, after a week i TRIED to contact them to discover no phone number has been available for 2 years, sent an email and was told to wait 14 days to make a complaint, it did eventually turn up 2 weeks after ordering but was too late to give as a present so am now stuck with a boxset i neither want nor need. Unacceptable will not be ordering from here again.

Have ordered PS4 for Christmas gift and from ADS I was promised that I will get product after few days. But after few days I got PayPal message that money paid for PS4 is sent to me back. My zavvi account was deleted (I have no idea why...). I had no chance to contact customer service (you can do it only with registered account). I registered new one, asked my question in customer service and order PS4 one more time, but no answer for my ticket and today my second account was deleted, hopefully PayPal sent payment back to me. So this is the worst service what I have used... Shame on you!

Ordered an item, said it was "in stock" expected delivery date came and went, order said it was in "stock picking", contacted them and eventually got told their suppliers are having a hard time finding stock. So much for item being in stock, a basic bit of programming could have prevented that! Then about a week later zavvi cancelled the order. We now can't find the product anywhere so my children won't be getting the only thing they wished for, for Christmas. At the time we ordered other places had it in stock too, just thought we'd give zavvi a go. Never using them again! They've totally ignored the complaint email sent!

This company is crap. They do not action your order as advertised and when you try to get an answer there is no way to contact them apart from email which takes at least 24 hrs to get a response, which was always an apology and no action taken. I cut my losses and cancelled my order as it was clearly going to be a nightmare. Do not touch this company with a barge pole! They are shocking, how have they not gone bust?

I ordered a PS4 for £249.99 and paid through pay-pal. I got an email saying that my order had been confirmed and dispatched. 4 days later i got another email saying that they are out of stock and cannot deliver my parcel. it was an extremely unreliable service especially so near to Christmas. I cannot recommend this website.
