The chiles arrived in good shape. The box had been handled poorly though. It's still a great service for someone like me being a New Mexico native that now lives in the east coast.

I had it shipped to a friend of mine in Tennesse. She's loving it.

Chilies were flavorful, and delicious . EASY TO PEEL. Shipment arrived on time and with only a few chillies that were bad.

I preordered Big Jim chiles and they are very good quality--large, ripe and fresh. The price is about the same as I would pay at my local grocery, however, I think these are fresher.

I was very disappointed with the amount of chile received, I ordered 5 lbs and the box was not anywhere near 5lbs, i was lucky to have received about 30 pieces, and to add to insult I found hatch green chile in Portland for $0.99/lb.

Hi Maddie, Did you weigh the box? 5lbs is 25-35 pods when shipping a heavy variety like Mild. If you did, please let us know how much it weighed so that we can get a replacement box out to you. As to it being available at the local grocery store, I doubt that chile was actually from Hatch unless it was from Gillis Farms. Most of the other commercial packers don't actually grow their chile here but still advertise it as "Hatch" chile. Best, Preston

The chile arrived in excellent condition! I finish roasting and freezing - and of course had to taste test! Yum...nothing like Hatch Green Chile!
