“The Chiles came very fresh. You could smell them before even opening the box. We got the mild which had zero heat but still good flavor. But next time I will get the next hottest. And will order must more than 5 lbs.”

“Many of the mild chiles are too mild, but I make most of my order into a cooked salsa, and the "average" is just right for us. Delicious! The chiles shipped from Hatch to Central California in 3 days and arrived in excellent condition. We processed them the day after delivery.”

Dear Margo, Our mild has little to no kick in it most years. If you'd like a little tang and flavor, I'd opt for the Medium. Since you had a less than satisfactory experience, would you like us to send you a small sample box of Medium this year? Thanks, Preston
