They have not reduced my payment even though I have changed from a 2 litre 7 seater Galaxy to a 1 litre Ford Focus. In fact it has gone up due to admin fee. Bunch of Cowboys!

the cancellation fee of £144 was disgusting and very greedy. having scrapped my car and not in any hurry to get another I thought it would work out cheaper to cancel the policy but being charged the equivalent of 2 months insurance is shameful. you need to re think your strategy for cancelations as this is beyond belief

Not impressed, rude and unhelpful staff. Not flexible. Expensive telephone lines and certain teams work independent of each other which means they don't communicate out of hours.

The customer service is terrible, they are rude and dismissive, I asked a question and they just kept reading of a script and no one would talk to me like a human and just wouldn't smite they did not know the answer.. Do not use this company they are also an absolute rip off!!!!!!!!!

My family warned me not to go with 1st Central, as they had received diabolical customer service. I didn't take the advice and now I wish I did. 1st Central is the worst company for customer service. They are quick to take your money but undoubtedly slow to give back any money owed to you. The only thing about 1st Central that is correct is they Centrally focus on their own priorities 1st. DO NOT USE 1ST CENTRAL, A SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY PERIOD.

Verry unprofessional customer services, sales to complat department.. I had to made 6 calls . I have request to call me back but no one bother to return any calls . Any one buying any policy from them pls pls make sure you have keep a record of every thing specially the names and the time also the number u call .

Renewal quote not upheld, systems were down on the day, phoned back the following day and told the renewal date had passed and therefore quote was not valid. Wanted to charge an extra £250 on my premium, i am an existing customer and they would make no amends, disgraceful.

Absolutely appalling service. I am very very disappointed. Their computer has changed the details of my policy without my permission. The payee of the policy is put done as the main driver when this was never the case on my application. On my log in server policy details and my documents, i am listed as the main driver but on 1st centrals computer i am not. They are now expecting me to pay for their mistake. They were so unhelpful with correcting there mistake. I will never insure with these people again.

Never again 1st CENTRAL ! I had an accident not my fault I had to write and to call a lot of times to finally fix my car! Do not respond to e mail! Customer service was terrible and waiting time on the phone too ! I lost a lot of nerves on them. Just Embarrassing company !

DISGUSTING COMPANY AVOID AVOID AVOID. Took out insurance cancelled after a few months. Got charged extortionate amount. poor customer service. Staff under trained. Long wait times. Very unhappy.

I searched a comparison website for car insurance and found the whole process very easy and would have rated this as Very Good, however having completed the insurance purchase I took the opportunity to insure another car through 1st Central's website. This was a complete nightmare as it took me right through to the payment page then said payment could not be made. I phoned 1st central, who told me that they were not sure why the payment had not gone through and they could not gain access themselves to the website however I could buy the insurance over the phone - the problem was that they wanted more than £30 more for this privilege!! I tried to enter all of the details again into the website only for the same thing to happen again and so I phoned them again, but could only have insurance if I paid more than £30 more!! I have since bought the car insurance elsewhere.

Stay away from 1st Central they might be cheap but there is a reason, if you don't make have to claim alls good. I claimed in June for an accident that wasn't my fault, customer service and attitude was disgraceful the existing claims team are rude and uninterested. They only took photos of my car, then from that apparently said it was a economical write off, baring in mind I was still driving the car. Week and a half later they announced the car was unfit to drive, two days later when my son had the car 20miles from home they made an on the spot decision to cancel me insurance. I still had no hire car. Had to transfer my insurance and borrow a car to fetch and drive the uninsured vehicle home. The crunch point was we agreed a price but it wasn't until the day the cheque was released did they inform me that they would be taking a whole years premium in advance leaving me with just £400, not enough money to buy replacement car. Existing claims just laughed and refused to talk to me but confirmed if I hadn't have transferred the policy to another car they would still have taken the money and left me with car insurance for a car that I didn't have!! All this and it was the third party's fault!! I now have no car and no money!! Avoid!!

By far the worst insurance company I have ever had all due to customer service its non existence. No one knows what they are doing, you wait on the phone before talking to anyone for at least 20 minutes and when you finally get thru they haven't got a clue they are all as thick as #### pathetic bunch of idiots. I have made two complaints to the Finantial ombudsman and thinking of making the third so it goes to show this is a company that clearly doesn't learn from there mistakes and doesn't take feedback seriously. Can't wait for renewal date and see the back to this incompatent pathetic useless company.

Complete and utter rip-off company. Their core aim seems to be to get as much money out of customers by any means possible. 'Administrative Charges' left, right and centre. I will never use them again.

Never heard of having to download and print out your own documents before.Every insurance company I have been with over many years have sent all the original paperwork through the post which is how it should be.What if someone is not online and has no internet access or printer.How on earth are they gonna bloody download and print out documents.My mum has now been waiting 3 weeks for this company to send her all her documents through the post after being promised yeah,yeah,yeah they are in the post and will be with you tomorrow.Vety poor insurance company......will never go with them again and I would not recommend these people to anyone.......absolutely RUBBISH !!!!

Very Very Very poor company. Quote simple and cheap upfront, but need anything else and you wont get it! On hold for 20 minutes before anyone answers, then placed on hold for a further 20 minutes for no reason other than inept staff, or as I believe taking other fee earning calls first! They cancelled my policy because they had an issue with their DD system. I get the usual apology when I do speak to someone, but then put on hold again - I am hold whilst writing this, 32 minutes and I've not spoken to anyone! Joke and surely the FCA need to look in to this company.

I have had an email and within four days you had lost all details of my car not even knowing the registration, I called today and gave again details,and was told you would waive £30 charge..... What!!!!!!!!,your company already inspires me with little confidence and I explained that I would like to know how it could be possible to loose these details there's also the trouble I may have got in by the police as my car would not have been on the data base as insured,my car may have been confiscated with high charges to get my vehicle returned due to your error and you waived a £30 charge!!!!!!!I think I should have been given a full apology, completely incompetent service so far I'm sorry to say
