“I placed a $500 order for some glassware and received a bizarre email afterwards with the title “Fraid A;ert” from 2BModern demanding a copy of my credit card statement or they would cancel my order (despite my bank having no issue and saying payment went through). When I called to see if this was a scam or even a real email from them, they claimed it was and because my billing and shipping are different (quite normal in this day and age), that they will not ship without proof of purchase (again, despite Chase assuring me it was fine and they received that 2BModern received funds with no problem). I offered to send an screenshot of my drivers license with my shipping address on it and they refused to accept that as “proof”. I finally asked to speak with a manager and alas, there wasn’t one around (big surprise). AVOID buying from this company unless you want a big headache. All of their products are available on different websites, who likely don’t give customers trying to give them business such a hard time. I regret trying to buy anything from them.”

“Their website experience is very poor. The transaction went through without me actually submitting my order! Somehow, a saved credit card was used. I immediately called and requested the transaction be cancelled. I spoke with someone who told me it would be cancelled. That didn’t happen. My credit card was charged. I have left two emails that have not been responded to. Furious!”

“Bait & switch? Ordered items purported in-stock; and only ordered from 2Modern as opposed to other vendors offering the same item at the same price b/c it appeared you offered the quickest shipping. Ha - was I wrong! Since order confirmation I’ve received at least 10 emails from 2Modern and your shipper regarding delivery delays, unexpected changes to dates and complex instructions. At this time, 10 days after placing our order, we still have no delivery date - other than a vague email from a shipping company we’ve never heard of saying that we’ll receive an update in approximately 5 (more) business days… this is the 3rd such email.”
“A ridiculous and bad experience. Waited over 4 months for a light, after numerous delays it arrived damaged, now are in very slow process to (I hope) return the item and be reimbursed—‘hope’ for as of yet we are still slogging through what should be a very simple return process. The customer service people have always been polite. But I will never buy a light again from 2modern.”

Hello, common sense dictates that if an item isn't available, you note that on your website. I wasted a week and have ordered the item elsewhere.”
