“The backordered item continued to push out farther. It took 4 1/2 months to receive my rug. Anytime I would email customer service, it would take many days to get a response and sometimes I got no response. They told me the rug shipped on a specific date however in tracking, it took it well over another week to ship, a week to arrive and then it had to be scheduled for delivery. During this 2 week or so periord, I received email after email requesting I review a product I had not yet received. The rug has defects, though beautiful besides those. I sent photos to 2Modern who didn't follow up without me calling a second time. They concurred with the manufacturer that snow white spots on a beige/tan background rug is normal. I am a trade client with 2Modern. I could not possibly consider working with them in the future for any of clients, much less myself.”

“Shopping was the easy part. The discouraging part was the minor damage to three of the bookcase shelves which wasn’t apparent before opening the package and inspecting the contents. The package was delivered standing on one end. I think it must have been handled throughout the handoff and shipping stages on its end as well. The damage was corner compaction of the shelves (the edges were smashed and damage was clearly visible prior to assembly) so clearly the support to prevent compaction wasn’t sufficient. It was minor however so I waved the white flag and just assembled the bookcase. The damage sites aren’t obvious because they present on the edge of the shelves. However, I know the damage is there and these shelves were priced at over $1,000. I acknowledge I could have pushed it and made a claim, but going thru the process of returning the 60lb shelves was such a hassle I just capitulated and kept the partially damaged product. I’m not feeling all that great about the whole ordeal.”

“I was very disappointed to be told that shipping would be in 3-4 days and then after making payment being told that shipment would be in about a month. I considered canceling the order but instead waited for delivery. I received the batter bowl and it is a beautiful color. It does have 1 very small flaw in the finish but most disappointing are the ridges in the bottom inside of the bowl. It is not smooth as I would expect for using as a mixing/batter bowl. I may yet return it. I do like the look of it, but it may not actually be as useful as hoped.”
