“My daughter has read the first book and is just getting ready to move on to the second after 3 weeks. She now has a huge interest in words and the alphabet and she picked out an alphabet book at the store where you trace letters and loves it. She is 3 and a half and just wrote her name the other day by herself and is always excited to get her next letter card.”

“My 3yr and 5yr old love this. They are drawn in with the guided lessons plans. Makes it so easy to teach them. They also love the punch out cards and cd with songs. I dont think it will be a quick process but its definitely a great tool to introduce my 3yr old and help my 5yr old focus on the phonics over summer so she doesnt have a summer regression.”

“For a $90 program (on sale) I was expecting more. I didn't realize the DVD set was just some alphabet songs instead of a video lesson. I originally bought this for my then 5 yr old, but she found it boring. I'm hoping it works for my 3.5 yr old who loves doing school work.”

“The lessons are easy to prepare for and my kid genuinely has fun. My only critique is that the pictures seem outdated and sometimes confusing. The drawings are very strange. Also, I would choose words that kids are more familiar with. Instead of alligator (which my son confuses for a crocodile) choose an aardvark or armadillo. Also we dont use the word mittens here. Maybe it's a regional thing? So lesson 6 he struggled with that picture.”

“My daughter Asks to do the next lesson! The songs are catchy that I will say one or two letter sound words and she will continue singing. Also my younger child said that when his older sibling gets 10 letters done he wants to start his turn so he can earn tokens too! :)”

“The program is good and easy to follow. However, as a former elementary teacher of 14 years I did find several mistakes throughout. Nothing that I could not figure out what it should be though. Some page numbers are wrong in the teachers manual, some of the student books were out of order for what is being taught. For example, some books used letter blends the students haven't been taught yet. I just changed the order on some of the books to accommodate. My daughter really likes the books.”
