“Really poor service from the very start. Bike delayed and I had to chase to find out, frustrating service all round. Took the bike for its 6 week service only to find the chain had been put on the wrong way round. This was causing a small clicking noise on the chain and the gears. Luckily this was picked up as if I hadn't taken advantage of the service and just continued to ride the bike I potentially could have caused damage to the bike and I guess found out the hard way there was an issue. To add to the morning, I ordered some mudguards online earlier in the week and selected collect from a store. I received an email that they were ready for collection and turned up when doing my service only to be told they were not there. Apart from Mike and the service I received from him directly, my dealings with 99Bikes has been very poor. (Even the free T-shirt hasn't arrived) I can't recommend 99 Bikes at all.”

“After finding my choice of e-mtb was at a great price on the 99bikes website, I gave them a call at the Swindon store. I decicided to pay them a visit to discuss the correct frame size for me. Travelling from South Wales it turned out to be the best trip to a cycle store. Mark was very welcoming and I recieved undivided attention. He let me try the Orbea Urrun for size. The Medium frame was a great fit. I placed my order and added some reccommended spd pedals. The service was exceptional and the delivery time was very quick, arriving a week earlier than promised. I would highly reccommend visiting 99bikes in Swindon..... however I've since found out the store is closing! Sad to see another bike shop go.”

“I have always found the staff at the Southampton shop to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I recently purchased a new saddle which they ordered in for me and I'm very happy with. I was pretty confident I knew the size I needed but they were happy to get their sit sizing tool out to double check. They are always willing to provide cardboard bike boxes should I need one for travelling.”

“It’s one star from me as you are closing the Swindon shop which has given excellent customer service. I have bought all four of my bikes at the store. As your company show no loyalty to us customers I will not be buying anything from you online.”

“Ordered several bikes online. Easy process and the items arrived within the expectation set at checkout. I had to get in touch with the team about a price match and Phil was helpful and responsive. All in all a great service and we are all really pleased with our new bikes. Many thanks 99bikes team.”

“The bike was ready really quickly however, I have noticed a rubber seal missing on one of the two bolts that locked the seat post. Some of the staff need a bit more training. I guess the rubber seal can be added when it comes in to be checked.”
