“Easy to load bikes. Convenient to fold up when bikes not on board. Tyre lockdown bar rubs on frame paintwork of adjacent bike when driving but not apparent when stationary. Locking pin where rack pivots to drop down seems a little flimsy so we strengthened with an additional bolt. Easy purchase online.”
“I got a message immediately saying that my order had been received and that I would be alerted when it was ready to be picked up. I didn’t hear anything for a few days, tried unsuccessfully to contact you by phone and eventually just went to the shop and picked up my goods which were ready. You just need to get your processes ironed out.”
“I placed a click and collect order and tried to call the store before leaving home 120kms away to ensure it could be brought to the car boot as i had two small children on board and the weather was horrendous. The phone rang out several times. I finally got through to the workshop and they went off to connect me to the store. End of story. Never connected. I rang 17 times on my way along the highway. No answer. Finally got on to the workshop again and they said Yes they'd bring it to the car boot. Very frustrating. Staff told me they were short staffed. Maybe put a message on your phone if you can't pick up every call. First world issue of course. Very happy with the eventual delivery and swift pleasant service. Product looks to be great quality.”
“Checked the website for bike light options, dropped into the store while I was out shopping, asked the staff a few q's which confirmed a few details and I bought a new light set. Got to ne happy with that!”
“I was a little bit disappointed with price of parts for what is a decent but fairly old winter bike (2013, Specialized Allez Sport) Tyres 64 bucks each and new chain and felt I was being held captive like a car dealer over a service. But to be fair I was called up and we discussed it on the phone so ultimately my call. Turning to the service this was excellent and I was really pleased with Jorge and his work. He was attentive knowledgeable and I would use him again, exhibits a positive work ethic in what is a fairly hot and dark work environment. 99 Bikes should make the space larger and improve ventilation for the workshop staff. The store needs reconfiguration IMHO probably a victim of their own success rather than managements desire to keep costs down”
