Do not use this company. I have had the same experience as other people, Blacks accept your order but then cancel part of it without letting you know. Out of 9 items ordered 5.4.21 I have only received 3 which were each delivered independently. No communication from Blacks, had to keep phoning only to be told an item was out of stock and so has now supposedly been refunded. 3 other items have been re ordered but I have no confidence I will receive them. Just a waste of time and so frustrating, I will not use again.

Returned faulty goods. Keep getting the run around about the postage refund. They clearly think that people will give up if they keep ignoring. Yes, they send a nice email but then nothing is done.

Extremely unhappy with the lack of service from Blacks. I placed an order on 3rd April, nearly 2 weeks later I received part of the order, the following day I received a bit more of the order, that was 3 days ago. I have just called customer service to find out where the rest of my order is only to be told that the order was cancelled as they are out of stock. I have received no notification from Black's informing me that they will be cancelling the order. Why did they even accept the order if they were out of stock. I will not be using Blacks again, shoddy service

Do not order from this company if you… Do not order from this company if you want your goods in a timely fashion... So I place my order for, 4 items on the 7th of April which blacks accept and send me the email order confirmation and stating I will receive a further email once dispatched. This is the last I hear from blacks, so on Monday the 12th I give them a ring enquiring when my order will be dispatched. The lady I speak to informs me that 1 of my items is out of stock, so I ask the lady to cancel the whole order for me which the lady says she will do and I will receive the refund in 3-5 days. A bit peed that blacks let me order something that was out of stock and then never bothered to inform me. I had to ring and find out for myself. Anyway Because I thought I was receiving my refund, I order the whole order from another company. Happy days. However I receive an email from blacks today Tues 13th April stating they have dispatched part of my order. Even though the woman I spoke to said it was all cancelled. So I now have to wait another 4-6 days for the items to arrive just to return them ( I assume another 4-6 days) then wait up to 14 days for the refund. So all in all blacks will of had £111 of my money for roughly 1 month, for which I will have nothing to show for at the end of it. To make things worse I have ordered my whole order elsewhere, spending over £111 again because I was under the impression I would be receiving my refund in 5-7 days. This order was to help me get out and help with my mental health and all blacks have done is made my mental health worse and left me pretty much in hardship with there misinformation. Poor show blacks

I had to pay £6.30 to return a pair of faulty walking boots. Blacks said they would repay. I had the refund for the boots but not the postage. I’ve sent photos of the PO receipt on two occasions and several emails asking for the refund. I’ve given dates and times for them to call me. Nothing. Customer service is appalling. I would never use this company again.

Avoid Avoid Avoid! After being told to reorder a pair of boots that were incorrectly delivered for a bottle of gas. I was disappointed to see that the same item had be delivered again. I have been cut off from 5 advisors, trying to be request my refunds that are now worth £190.00 to be told this will take 14 days to be processed. Unacceptable and I suggest anyone that is considering an order with Blacks to look elsewhere. Go Outdoors, Decathlon and many others would be a much better options.

Terrible customer service Terrible customer service. Will not send a refund for an item missed off my order, due to them sending the incorrect item. I now have to pay to return the item, wait for it to be processed in their warehouse, just to receive an item that I have paid for. Do not use this company for a large order, it will only end in grief.

Ordered trousers, wrong size sent. Had to pay postage to return and after 2 weeks still waiting for a refund and told it can take 28 days. Won’t be shopping online with them again. Rohan and costed outdoor better service and refunds within days.

absolutely abissmal aftercare service. I returned a faulty coat in JANUARY have sent approx 19 emails with not proper communication response. I am STILL awaiting refund from January, each assistant just fobbs you off each time. promised a call weeks ago to process the refund, still waiting for this. TOTALLY BAD SERVICE, WILL DEFINATELY NOT BE SHOPPING AT BLACKS EVER AGAIN..... I am now without waterproof coat or refund for my return.. DISGUSTING COMPANY

Awful service!! I ordered a jacket back in early January I sent it back a few days later... I have been told my parcel is in the warehouse ready to be scanned for my over £100 refund however it has been there for a month and I still haven’t had my refund!! Absolute joke. I have emailed constantly even rang customer service and still no change!! Will I ever get my money back who knows. They can only use the COVID excuse for so long - what are they actually doing with their days if my parcel has been there for a month sat in the warehouse?!?!?!? Do I need to take this further after they’ve told me they have it... Don’t order from here!

Never, ever, order from here. If courier dumps your parcel outside, without permission, and you do not receive item, you will still be charged. Just under £270 down and will dispute with my bank. No permission to just leave anywhere, let alone in the street. Order elsewhere, or like me you might pay for nothing.

I made a couple of purchases from Blacks and subsequently a couple of returns.....that's when the problems started. I'm not sure how they manage the refund process but at one point I got three emails from three different people asking for information which in some cases I had already provided. To cut a long story short I've given up trying to get a refund on a product I returned as I can't provide the information that they need - I know that they received it as I've had a credit for another item that was in the same package. Use them at your peril.....

Thoroughly awful! Saw a great deal for a Fenix 6s - £369 fantasic! Ordered 4th January (money was taken then too), kept getting updates 14th January delivery - BUT when I opened the packaging there was no watch there!! A COMPLETELY JOKE RIGHT?! Immediately ring up their customer services, make it clear I want a replacement ASAP. Told they have a 28day investigation period. Patiently wait, requesting updates each week 2nd February! ( they've had my money for ALMOST a month now!) they send me a refund. Watch is no longer in stock and they don't offer any alternative. DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP ORDERING OFF THIS COMPANY! Take your money for a month :(

I have a Gift Card that can only be used in store and Blacks management refuse to transfer it to an online Gift Card. During this lockdown any decent reputable company would only be to pleased to retain a customer and help him/her purchase a product online. But no, not Blacks intransigent management, they refuse. Cotswold Outdoor will have my custom in future. WELL DONE BLACKS!!! You certainly know about customer service.

Two items ordered online. After an age, received at dispatch email saying both had been dispatched. One item arrived. Had to phone up to find out that the other item was out of stock! They also use Hermes for delivery so amazing that anything arrived at all!

Ordered two items, after two weeks parcel came with only one, filled in missing item form on c/s page got the auto reply saying message received and then nothing. Tried ringing c/s ( don't bother you'll never get through) , have now received an email saying item not in stock refund on its way. We shall see.... won't be buying anything from Blacks again

Please think twice before buying. Blacks is an unscrupulous company with little regard for customers. I have been waiting for a refund for some time now. Every time I get in contact with them they tell me the 'warehouse hasn't processed it yet', and that they can't do anything about it. It seems that Blacks will do anything to avoid processing refunds which the customer is entitled to. And if you want to speak to a manager you have to wait for a callback, which can take up to 72 hours!

Returned my item at the shop on 08/12/2020 and never received refund. The store manager told me that because I had paid with PayPal he couldn’t give me a refund straight away. Their customer service is unhelpful, hope I will get my money back!
