DHL Parcel Post in Germany is absolutely hopeless. My son handed in 2 parcels about 10 days ago to be delivered to Portugal. One has been sitting at the Export Parcel Centre for the past 3 days. The other is still, apparently, sitting at the original warehouse. The biggest problem isn't the delay though, it is the fact that we have spent hours on the DHL website but it is impossible to find a telephone number or an e-mail address so that we can make enquiries. I have gone to the DHL warehouse in Portugal and have phoned various DHL numbers in Portugal. All say the same thing - they do not have any contact details for DHL Germany. No company operates in such a manner unless they have something to hide. This company is causing some major PR damage to the DHL brand.

So many occasions DHL says my parcel I. Out for delivery and the at the end of the day nothing happens, then they say it will be delivered next day. This keeps going on and on and on and on.

DHL consistently fails to deliver. I think UPS or Fed-Ex are head and shoulders better than DHL

had a package get sent, but they couldn't figure out a trailer park and find my address. never had an issue with FedEx, UPS, or Amazon finding my address

They sent me an email saying they had picked up my package from the company I bought it from. Now claim to have never had the package at all. Customer service is a joke. Talk to you like a child and give no real answers. Would be handy if you could choose what company you want to deliver your package. Shambles of a place

Visited Jerez today to find a DHL office to send a very import letter. First one I visited was closed. Second one did not exist. My wife rang the supervisor of DHL who gave us an address in the middle of town. Ages to find parking then to be told it's collection only. Very first and definitely my last attempt to use DHL...

Didn't try to contact me to drop order off just said they couldn't reach me, terrible customer service when I called to complain. Avoid this company like the plauge.

Recently I sent a courier to nepal I had a worst experience ever . They didn't ship it to the destination and then destroyed my parcel . Constant mails follow ups but they kept blaming nepal customs and how can a client contact customs . They don't want to pay reimbursement for the damage caused .

Dear DHL, I am extremely frustrated with the lack of accountability in my shipment. I lost 28 pieces, including sentimental items like a wedding invitation. You said “customs retained the items” but gave me no documentation, no case number, no proof. This is a clear omission of responsibility. DHL is still accountable under the Montreal Convention and Brazilian consumer protection laws. I demand: 1. Official documentation from CBP; 2. An explanation and resolution plan; 3. I had a terrible experience with DHL India. I submitted all the required KYC documents, including a proper declaration and valid ID/address proof. Still, DHL has not verified my KYC even after 20 days, and I have not received my parcel till now. Their customer care team was unhelpful, and the KYC team kept rejecting my documents without a clear explanation. They claimed my address was “too short” even though it matched my ID exactly. This delay has caused me a lot of stress and wasted time. I expected much better service from a global company like DHL. Very disappointing – I do not recommend DHL for international deliveries in India.

One star is too high a rating, frankly - I paid over $80 with a scheduled arrival for my package in 5 days. It has now been eight days, and the package is still in Cincinnati. Worse I CAN'T GET ANY ANSWERS as to the status of the package or the reason for the delay - terrible operation, terrible customer service

If I could give 0 stars then I would. Waited 3 days for a printer for our business and still nothing. It seemed OK for the driver to go to the business opposite us and say they couldn't deliver it to us! Of course you couldn't, you're in the wrong place, again. Keeping my fingers crossed for delivery on Monday 🤔 I gave them my mobile number and they said drivers don't carry phones, so they won't be able to call me. How do they get in touch with the depot if they break down? Really disappointed with this company.

DHL missed the fact that my package had already cleared customs and re-entered customs. They blame it on the sender writing incorrectly. I believe DHL should settle this with their customer but they refuse and demand another VAT from me. Avoid DHL if you can is my tip!
