Submitted courier charge but again they take extra charge in the name of customs. My items was around 80 euros and they took 160euros while sending and again took 98 euros while receiving. Totally scam.

Scheduled a delivery as I was not going to be home on the date listed for the estimated delivery. No sign of the delivery, despite it being scheduled days in advance. Called their CS line. Got told it had been rescheduled without any notification being sent to me.

I was waiting in for my delivery which I was given a hour time slot delivery and I was home all day so I was totally fuming when I received an email saying “sorry we missed you “ . According to then email the delivery driver said I was not in!!!! I then tried to contact DHL but could not speak to a human so hence could not complain about the poor work attitude of the driver who obviously didn’t want to be bothered delivering my package. Would not even give DHL one star more like -1 😡

If I could give a lower star rating I probably would. I waited in all day since I got a text in the morning saying my parcel was going to be delivered on 12/1/24 and they gave me an hour time slot for the delivery, good. The delivery van arrived approximately an hour and 40 mins late. I had been watching the tracking so went to the door as soon as the van arrived and said hello to the driver. He then routed around in the back of his van for at least 20 mins, spoke to someone on his phone, routed around some more, spoke to someone on his phone again and then got back into his van and drove away without telling me why my parcel was not being delivered or where it might be. Then my tracking updated saying there was no one home to sign for the delivery. That is a downright lie ! I was standing on my doorstep watching the driver all the way through this. It would have been nice if the driver had had the decency to come and tell me face to face what was going on rather than slinking off without saying a word. This is unbelievably poor service. Later that evening the tracking information changes to say the item has been delivered and I get an email telling me the same. Again this is a lie, it has not been delivered as later still the tracking says the item is at the delivery office and delivery was attempted but the delivery driver was unable to access the property. More lies, as mentioned above I watched the driver rummage in his van directly outside my house for 20 minutes before driving off without speaking to me. As the item was at the delivery office again I attempted to book a redelivery via the phone but the automated service said the item could not be booked for redelivery and I needed to contact the vendor. To make matters worse they say they can be contacted by phone but the service is automated and you never get put through to speak to someone. They say they can be contacted via Facebook but they don't respond to messages. I guess they just don't care. The item did get delivered safely several days later but what I object to strongly and what has prompted this review is the lack of communication from DHL and the downright lies DHL and their employees seem more than happy to tell about the delivery. I have to say that the vendor Thomann was great and very helpful throughout this whole thing. DHL did not respond in a satisfactory manner to my customer service enquiries. After this experience I would never use DHL to send a parcel and I hope that they are never the chosen courier for anything I buy in the future.

I'm gonna have to say, while I’ve had pleasant experiences using DHL whilst living elsewhere, DHL MALAYSIA is TERRIBLE. This is probably the second time my parcel had been confiscated by customs (both times through DHL!). I have purchased regularly from abroad (makeup, skincare, clothes etc), always using other couriers like FedEX, LWE, Royal Mail, etc and NOT ONE has had this issue like with DHL. DHL seems to have a tendency to say the pharmacy department has confiscated my order and then does nothing about it. If you’re in Malaysia and you want to buy things from international sites, DO NOT USE DHL. Even when they release your parcels, the tax bill is always a lot higher than other couriers.

Please don't use this company. They do not respect pick up times and then when you call CS, they casually give you a new pick up time for 2 hours later. Quite apart from no apology, the reason given was "weather". The rain today hardly constitued "weather" and now the sun is shining. Extraordinary. May I also add that, a text message to say there was a problem with the pick up is the bare minimum one would expect if they indeed had any intention of picking up my parcel.

DHL Poland is a company which charged my money and provided no service. Courier simply does not come. Nobody cares in support. They simply stole my money. Never never use dhl.

If there’s a will power that can just shut down this fraud of a company, it will be the greatest. This by far is the worst shipping company ever! Zero customer service. The way they do business - read informing customers of potential customs payments - is through a msg that contains a link that expires within 48 hours. If you don’t open the link “on time” you will pay fine for them sending you the invoice via post. Their employee who handed me the package couldn’t say a word?! How do such companies even exist?! Just awful.

The worst shipping company in the world, first they can't deliver and locate the parcel from abroad that they have in stock, they ruined my medicines worth 350 euros. And now they can't deliver the parcel in the same country on time, your courier marked on the Internet that I was away even though I'm still at home here! Telephone service works in limited time and cannot communicate in English and Dutch, what's more, he doesn't know anything, so why do they work there? And the worst is the Internet Bot because it's the only one left after their ridiculous working hours and it won't help you with anything because it doesn't understand your questions just like the employees working there on the phone. What's more, I paid extra for the shipment to be delivered on time, you ignored me when you lost my medicines and again you are not fulfilling the contract and the opinions on the Internet do not impress you, so on Monday you will be in the Dutch newspapers.

DHL ecommerce is terrible!! I ordered an item from a merchant and was provided a tracking number. I tracked it and there were no updates for 4 days. I contacted DHL ecommerce and was told I'd have to contact the merchant!! Unbelievable!! They have the package but you need to call the merchant to to get an update if any! Imagine UPS, USPS or FedEx telling you to contact the supplier to track a package that they have!! This company is incompetent and refuses to take ownership for items in their position. Stay away from DHL ecommerce as much as possible! BUYER BEWARE!!

Nobody came … and they say I was not home 😡 Package was supposed to be delivered on the 5th January, very late in the day, after 17:00, I received an email informing me that they will deliver on the 8th January. On January 8th I STAYED HOME ALL DAY … no tracking info … and finally at 17:30, an email telling that they tried to deliver, but I was not Home 😡😡😡😡 VERY POOR SERVICE !!!! NOBODY CAME TO DELIVER Tracking number JJD014600011389590184 NOW I need to pick it up … I am not staying home an other full day !

My package was missing for three weeks. Initially, I contacted DHL Express multiple times due to an unscanned label. Subsequently, Express claimed to initiate an investigation up to three times. Supposedly, this had happened, but later, I was informed that it was not the case. Since the package was not scanned under DHL Express but as an E-commerce tracking code, I had to contact DHL E-commerce. An investigation was launched, but I was hung up on multiple times during calls, and the connection was dropped twice. I felt like I was being sent from pillar to post, with no one reading, listening, or showing any effort to trace my package. Despite explaining the issue six times, no notes were taken, and I had to repeat my story each time. As a resolution, I was offered a compensation of only 10 euros, based on a weight of 1 kg. This, despite the package containing a watch weighing 200 grams with a value of 750 euros. If this had happened with a private individual, the police would be at your door, reports would be filed, and serious problems would ensue. However, because it's DHL, it seems like nothing is wrong, and they brush it off as something that can happen. I will never use DHL again. It's disgraceful how they treat people; their service is not even worth a 0. They don't take people seriously, and something really needs to be done about it. For me, this is the last time with DHL. I recommend avoiding it!

Worst delivery service ever. They were supposed to deliver my packages by December 16th or 17th. Got an email saying that they wouldn't arrive until the 29th of December. Didn't arrive until today January 3rd at the Post Office. NOT MY HOUSE WHERE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED. The POST OFFICE about 25 minutes from my house. Not to mention everything you call customer service you never can speak to a human.

it’s ridiculous. i used express shipping and paid extra money so it would get here faster. it’s going to take an extra 5 days more to get here than the LATEST expected delivery date. my package has been sitting in houston, which isn’t but an hour away from where i live and has been on hold for the past 3 days. my package would’ve gotten here sooner if i used standard shipping, which was a free option. very disappointed and will NEVER be using dhl for a delivery again. absolutely poor poor service.

worst delivery service ever. couple of my packages are delayed. after their estimated delivery date have past I wrote them an email to ask for assistance. their reason for delay is because of the high volume of shipments and there is no EDD available! i mean isn't high volume of shipment good for their business? how is it a surprise? isn't moving stuffs is what they're supposedly good at? I just don't understand their business guarantee of getting your packages before the holidays and then screw up in the process - fundamental criteria of a scam! If you have other options, stay away from DHL. Otherwise put a review because technically that's the only thing you can do when you've already paid for their service.

I ordered a gift for my son for Christmas in November. I received a notice stating that it would be delivered by the end of the day on Dec 5th. It never arrived. I received another notice stating it would arrive on Dec 13th, again no delivery. I contacted customer service and was told that they would get it out for delivery on Dec18th, again no delivery. I contacted customer service yet again and was told that I could pick it up in Charlotte NC. I live 40 minutes away and the package was very important to me so I took time off from work and I drove to the address given to me. The package was not there. I WAS NOT HAPPY. I asked why all of three notices that I received from DHL were lies. I was told that they were not lies they were autogenerated. I told them that the customer service people were not autogenerated and still what I was told was untrue. I was told that it is Christmas and I should understand. Well I don't understand if I am told repeatedly a story that is not true. It is still Christmas for Amazon and I have not had this problem with dozens of packages from them. I was told to go home and they would look into it. I was called a few hours later and told that the package was lost and to file a claim with DHL. I called to file a claim and was told that this was incorrect information, I must file a claim with the company that I purchased the item from. It is difficult to believe anyone from DHL as I have never been told the correct about anything thus far.

Had a lost personal phone sent back to rightful owner for $100 through DHL only for them to withhold delivery of phone until more money has been paid. Horribly company money paid still no phone or contact from DHL. PLEASE DON'T SEND ANYTHING IMPORTANT WITH THIS COMPANY
