“Awful, booked a collection with UPS, they never showed up to collect the parcel. I had to book an alternative collection with different courier as it was urgent. ParcelHero refunded some of collection fee but decided to keep a £6 cancellation fee. I don't know how they can do this when the parcel was never collected, UPS are apparently saying they tried to collect but the tracking was never updated with an attempted pick up.
The customer service was quick but not helpful, just kept repeating the same message. You'd think as a goodwill gesture they would refund the whole amount to keep future custom. But no, so I won't be using ParcelHero again.”

“Dear fellow customer, if you value your time, money and health avoid this scam 'company'. Situation: going abroad for a holiday for my father's birthday. Due to lack of space in my suitcase I decided to send my fathers birthday gift as a parcel via Parcelhero 'company'. Oh boy, I wish I didn't. Booked a collection of parcels on Friday (my day off), and was given 'precise' time of collection 9am-6pm (heh,ok maybe they are really busy). Driver never showed up. Wasted my entire day off waiting, great! I wouldn't be so disappointed if they at least let me know that it can't be collected, but there was ZERO communication, none, nada, either with the driver or the company. Only options I got were on their website: cancel it, change the courier or rebook collection. My flight was on Monday so I was in a rush to send it, so I chose the rebook collection option (silly me). I booked the next collection for Monday, of course they can't do it on weekends, and again I was given the same 'precise' collection time 9am-6pm (facepalm), but I asked my flatmate if he can take care of it since I'm flying very early on Monday morning. When I arrived at my destination I asked my flatmate to text me if the collection took place. You guessed it, my fellow customer, it didn't ! Fool me once.... . With big disappointment and frustration I had no other choice than to cancel delivery. Here's cherry on the top, in order to cancel it and get the refund (here drums sound), yes you've guessed it again, you have to pay a cancellation fee.... WOW! I would get it if it was my fault, but it is them that failed to collect the parcels TWICE! no communication, no notice, nothing!
Thank you ParcelHero (Villain more likely) for ruining my fathers birthday for me, job well done! So yes I will never use them again and so my friends and family that I let know to avoid this 'company'. Great job, as for the time of writing this review you lost 15 potential customers.

I will amend this review if my concerns are subsequently addressed by ParcelHero. If this review remains as 1 star, this means ParcelHero continue to act irresponsibly on this particular matter.
Summary:
Appalling service from ParcelHero. They delivered a 'Returns Item' in the exact original packaging that the supplier provided it in, and it broke in transit.
ParcelHero are refusing to honour the specific insurance protection I purchased for item damage.
Amazingly, they are saying that the package was not packed correctly (even though as I say it was in its original packaging and unopened).
Their Loss & Damage assistant, Aman Bhandar, has been courteous throughout but essentially saying he cannot help any further without further photos. Photos I cannot provide as I no longer have the item after it was returned to the supplier and disposed of as a broken item.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS POSTING AN ITEM YOU KNOW WON'T BREAK OR NEED INSURANCE!”
