We have been charged additional surcharges for remote delivery, after the delivery on 2 occasions within 2 weeks. Even though they have the full addresses and say all surcharges are included. An additional £22 that they just take from your bank, you have no choice to stop it.
I will not be using their services again & I cannot recommended them.”

“Everything went well for me and I was happy with the service. However, the reviews of them taking money after the collection\delivery has made me nervous. I've checked my card and bank details are removed from the account and even asked that the account is deleted. It is also very difficult to navigate closing the account. I don't like it when companies make this hard for customers. It is not good practice these days and they should look into making it simpler and easier to do.”

“By far the worst experience I've had sending a parcel. Read there terms and conditions before sending.
I sent a large consignment with these guys which cost over £200 and after the parcel was delivered perfectly fine and within their time frame I received a 'late payment' invoice for over £1000, roughly 3 weeks after. I had not received the initial invoice for this amount. They had stated that the parcel I had sent had been audited by their partnering company UPS and it was over size and therefore they were legally within their rights to take that money from my bank. I asked for proof from them that the parcel had been audited and that the parcel was over size and they couldn't/wouldn't give me this information. I would have been much happier with their decision if they could have proved that this had taken place.
They told me that I had to prove to them that my parcel was the right measurements and they were under no obligation to prove to me why they were taking this money from me.
Anyway I refused to pay until they had given me evidence that this was the case. They wouldn't. I even rang UPS who agreed with me that the parcel hadn't been audited. Later down the line, approximately 5 weeks, they did send me a UPS 'invoice' that stated that the parcel had been audited but they couldn't prove it's size.
With lots of backwards and forwards later, I woke up one morning with an email from my bank saying that the payment had automatically been taken out of my account and therefore they had taken my payment without my consent, something that I thought was illegal. READ THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS as they do state that this is what they do, however they ask you to take specific photos before sending so that you can prove that you are in the right. TAKE PHOTOS OF EVERY ITEM YOU SEND WITH THEM.
I have now, finally, got that money back but as an individual this has by far been the most financially stressful thing to happen to me when sending a parcel and I send lots of parcels as I'm self employed. They also offered me a £5 gift voucher to apologise of which, quite frankly, felt a little insulting.

“My experience with ParcelHero has been beyond disappointing. They failed to inform me about crucial customs clearance requirements when I booked their service. To compound matters, they lost 2 out of my 6 baggage items. Dealing with them to settle my claim was a nightmare; they subjected me to mental harassment for 3 months, completely ignoring their own advertised claim settlement period of 14 days. Despite purchasing £1000 insurance, they only compensated me for half of the value of my lost items. Their excuse varied depending on convenience; at one point claiming outdated website information, and another time citing their strict policy limits.
I was on the brink of filing a formal complaint when, suddenly, they settled my claim the next day out of fear of further escalation. Their website promises are utterly misleading. ParcelHero exhibits gross unprofessionalism and a complete lack of customer service etiquette. I strongly advise against using their services; while they may appear cost-effective initially, the eventual cost in terms of money, time, and mental well-being to get your items delivered or claim settled is not worth the risk.”
