“Do not use this company. Booked a collection, stayed home the day collection was due, and the next day, no one arrived, either day. Tried to cancel, wouldn’t allow me. Finally managed to cancel and charged £6 to cancel a service that was never even provided. Asked parcel hero to refund the £6, but they claimed UPS has tried to collect, so I have to pay the cancellation fee, bulls**t. Their site says if collection fails, tracking will be updated with the reason, but no updates or reason on tracking. I wonder why? Because it’s bulls**t and they just want my money for something they haven’t done.
I am filing a chargeback with my bank as I’ve been charged for a service that hasn’t even been attempted to be fulfilled.
I used DPD instead, who came next day, with a 1 hour slot, and great customer service.

“The driver never came to collect the parcels. He called us to ask some trivial questions to which he should have known the answer already, and then simply said that his van is full already. Also, ParcelHero customer support is terrible, mostly non-existent. They don't have anyone working during weekends and even during the week they only have email support that takes forever.”
“Express delivery and the courier did not turn up to collect the package, was told that a driver had not even been allocated! The driver then turned up the next day to collect the package, the day it was meant to have arrived at its destination. Will not be using this service again, and will advise others not to use. I thought ParcelHero would find me the best courier for my express urgent, overnight shipment, but it has let me down.”
“Parcel not collected on designated date, 31st August, Stayed in from 9am to 6pm. Have had to re-schedule, for (I hope) collection tomorrow Thursday 1st September.
Will not be recommending UPS.”
“Two QR codes did not work. Could not print labels. Ended up sending parcel by Royal Mail (which was actually cheaper) and losing the money I paid to ParcelHero. Will not try to use them again and cannot recommend. Wondered if it was a genuine company or a scam.”

“Issues and delays generating the QR code with EVRi. I was not able to send my parcel in the time that I needed to because of this. Also booked an In-post drop off on the site and when I got there it was full so a further waste of my time and I had to request a refund.
Customer service email response was quick and I appreciate they had issues with the QR generation but this severely impacted my experience with the service and I will not be using it again.”

Please I warn you to not use this site. Terrible customer service (or lack of), no direct contact number and they do not guarantee collection as per there T&Cs. This meant that we ourselves had to drop it off to the warehouse (despite paying for collection) incurring an addition c£100 in costs (not including the stress!).”

“Been charged £52.68 for taxes on goods I already own. I left them behind in the hotel, and arranged for Parcelhero to collect. I was told parcel wouldn't be delivered to myself unless I paid taxes. Government website says I was excluded from taxes”
“I sent a delivery on 12 April 2022 which was supposed to take 3 days, item never arrived at destination, no note was left at destination address. 19 May i emailed them and they said it has been returned to sender, no attempt at delivery was made and no notification of failed delivery was given i asked them to attempt again and was advised they cannot redirect, they advised they sent an email and text advising receiver to pick up but could not provide details of when messages were sent. 23 June i asked where it is and advised they have still not received it. 12 July i asked for address to serve legal claim and they would not provide address. 22 July i was asked to pay £55 so they can return my delivery i asked them to read our correspondence history as i felt they wouldn't dare ask me to pay after all this aggravation, i received a response which did not address my issue, 1 aug they asked me to pay the invoice, 9 august i was tired out they successfully exasperated me i asked for the invoice so i can pay, 10 aug i got an email saying i did not pay in time and my parcel was disposed of”
