“disgusting paid to have a bumper picked up and the carrier refused for no good reason then I get charged to rebook. didn't get confirmation the second time customer service just say pay to rebook then I get charged to cancel the order aswell”

“I recently posted a good review about ParcelHero because my parcel collection, transport and delivery (via FedEx) all proceeded smoothly. However, about 3 weeks later I was contacted to say that an ‘audit’ by FedEx revealed the dimensions of the shipping container I used were incorrect (the difference was only a few millimetres; the weight I provided was accurate) and that I was liable for additional charges because of an increased ‘volumetric weight’. The company through which I had obtained the container/box confirmed the size that I had given, and I forwarded this information by email to ParcelHero. However, I was told that the only acceptable ‘proof’ of size would be photographs of the container (that I had already sent weeks ago) showing a tape measure against each dimension. Who would have thought to take these photos beforehand? When I obtained what I believed to be a final price quote on line, there was no mention of ‘volumetric weight’ or a requirement to photograph the container in case proof of dimensions might be required at a later date. Misleading and disappointing to say the least and no support from ParcelHero staff to rebut FedEx’s (incorrect) ‘audit’ either. Beware when sending packages with this company.”
“Via yourselves booked a collection using Hermes. Did specify that unable to print off a label as I do not possess a printer as I do not find the need to possess one for very minimal purpose. Was advised by you that Hermes would provide a printed label via their driver on collection. This was not the case, the driver said that Hermes do not provide this facility. Thus I cancelled the collection order, to date have not received reimbursement of initial paid fee of £3.52 can you please advise regarding this issue. Kind regards. Peter (Stubbs)”
