“The worst company I've ever dealt with. I'm giving Parcel Hero one star because it won't let me award a minus score. Accepts no responsibility for damage. Has an egregious claims procedure that makes it impossible for any customer to obtain a fair outcome. Read Parcel Hero's contractual small print and you'll see that Chinese dissidents get a fairer hearing. Courier damaged my properly packaged £485 stereo speakers beyond repair, Parcel Hero tried charging me an extra £25 because said parcel was supposedly 10cm longer than that I had paid for – despite being unable to offer any evidence of this AND admitting that it had not seen any evidence from the courier. Abysmal. Do not use this dreadful, deceitful, negligent company. It will treat you with contempt.”
“Every single shipment that we send using ParcelHero, is then re audited by the carrier, DHL in this case. The audit is performed completely incorrectly and we are always charged additional costs on top of what we have already paid.
It is impossible for the declared package sizes to change in transit, it simply is not possible. We challenged the audit with ParcelHero and was basically told that DHL are correct and we are wrong. Despite providing images of the box with a tape measure clearly displaying the correct and declared size of the box, this was still rejected because there wasnt an AWB stuck to the box. Like we are going to keep and old AWB stuck to a reusable shipper for 3 weeks waiting to see if ParcelHero try to charge us more money, which they have done on every single shipment we have sent.
ParcelHero need to make more effort to challenge these incorrect audits with the carriers rather than just letting their customers eat additional charges.
