“If i could write a reciew with no stats , I would!
Ordered tickets 8/15 for an event 12/22. Got my request to accept tickets 12/12. Could not accept the tickets, no matter what hoops I jump through. Spent at leaat 6 hours trying to accept the tickets only to find out the aeller was unable to provide the tickets! Now, after three calls to stubhub and three calls to ticket master I'm having an issue with a refund. WTF, horrible service. I will never use them again, BUYER BEWARE!”
“I sold some concert tickets back in June and stubhub never paid me! They keep sending me emails saying my bank account information is incorrect. I gave them to bank accounts numerous times and they still are not paying me and then when you call customer service they either hang up on you or play stupid. Do not buy or sell, especially sell to them!”
“Extremely disappointed in our first experience using stubhub. My sisters and I bought tickets for Hamilton as a Christmas gift for my mom. We all had to take the night off work, bought the tickets over a month in advance (yes we were fully charged for the tickets) and made the hour and a half drive to the venue. We were told the tickets would be in our account by 4pm, 4pm comes around and they have not arrived so we reached out to customer service. We were told the seller has not yet fulfilled our tickets, they offered either replacement tickets or a full refund. We were already by the venue so requested replacement tickets, we were told they could take up to an hour, unfortunate since the show started in an hour and a half but we were hopeful. 30 minutes before the show started we were notified that there were no replacement tickets and they could not honor our tickets. The worst part is we heard no updates from Stubhub beforehand, we had to reach out for an update and were then told our tickets were no longer valid. Was the plan to not say anything? What was supposed to be such a special night out celebrating Christmas with our mom after a rather hard year turned into a very frustrating experience due to lack of communication and accountability. We spent a lot of money on those tickets and were so looking forward to the show but were left high and dry at the last minute with no acceptable explanation. Unfortunately learned our lesson the hard way but now know better than to ever use stubhub again in the future. Thank you for the upsetting night and for leaving four very excited guests crushed at the last minute.”
“The worst experience ever!!! I wish I could give them zero star!
I recently used StubHub to buy tickets, and it was a nightmare. The website was confusing, and the service fees were outrageous—almost doubling the ticket price.
When my tickets finally arrived, they were late, leaving me stressed just before the event. Customer service was unhelpful; after an hour on hold, I spoke to someone who couldn't assist me. To make matters worse, the tickets were for the wrong event, and I missed out entirely.
On top of all this, they have no refund policy, which makes them even worse. Overall, my experience was incredibly disappointing. I will never use this scam again. There are better options out there—save yourself the trouble!”
“Sold me a parking pass, didn’t let me choose my times, and won’t let me resell them. The site keeps deleting my listing instantly. I’ve talked to 3 people and all say they’ve never had this issue before and there’s nothing they can do. DO NOT PURCHASE THROUGH THEM! Use seat geek, or Ticketmaster”
“I received a "These Tickets Are No Longer Available
Heads up, the following ticket transfers have been canceled by the sender." email 34min prior to an event. Since this was only for a parking pass, I thought, Ill just pay for parking and reach out to customer service after.
They expect you to sit outside of the venue, in your car, while you reach out, (mind you, the contact us is not easy to get to on their website), and waste away your event, as you are supposed to try to figure out what happened. Because pulling over in front of a stadium is easy to do. Since I reached out after, there is nothing that you can do because you accepted the Terms and Conditions.
So a $60 parking pass, that they collect almost $20 on... so a refund or credit cost them less than $100 total for both parties, they refuse to budge. Screw this company.”
“STUBHUB is the worst company to go thru. The FanProtect is not Guarantee! They lie! They use immigrant telemarketers who hang up on their customers. I did not receive email with tickets I purchased. They stated I was going to receive my tickets three hours before the event! Never happened, no call, no email and no tickets!”
“This website is run by a bunch of crooks. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. You will never receive any customer service and they all misleading or misrepresentation of the ticket prices by listing in foreign currencies and adding a ridiculous admin fee onto any order. You can not cancel and no one will help you get any type of refund. BUYER BEWARE”
“Would give 0 if I could. Customer service refuses to refund after buyer never transferred ticket. They refuse to escalate, refuse to do anything helpful. It's a scam. Do not use EVER.”
“Stub hub does not truly offer to sell your tickets. They have a recommendation filter that is on when people come to their site. The user needs to shut off any tickets that they don’t own. This filters out all but their tickets. So it is total BS. I have contacted the FTC to discuss this. I am filing a complaint.”
“purchased tickets, sent me e mail to accept. got email to enjoy show. got to door tickets no good. standing there in the cold while everyone else we were with went in.
worst, worst company to deal with.”
“A TRUE SCAM!!!! Customer service will lie to you, tickets sold without full disclosure.
An absolute lousy experience - one that Citibank credit card services and lack of customer support only made worse.
Had used Stubhub for concert, playoff & super bowl tickets in the past.
WILL NEVER CONSIDER THIS COMPANY AGAIN - A TRUE SCAM.........”
“Worst ticket experience ever
Bought tickets for an event four days prior
An hour before the event started I received an email from stub hub saying the seller could not provide the tickets and they would send a refund
Meanwhile I had flewn to Vegas for the event , bought special clothes , took a ride and was standing outside of event
And I had no tickets”
“I live in WNC that was hit my hurricane Helene on Sept 27th. A month before I purchased tickets to a game through Stubhub. The day before the game we got hit by the hurricane. There was no way in or out of Asheville and we had no phone or internet service for a week. Once I got service I called stubhub to see about a refund. Their policy is all sales are final and told me I should have called the day of the event. They are based overseas and had to Google to see I was telling the truth about the hurricane. They told me if I provided a letter from Verizon they would do a one time courtesy. So I did that but they still denied me a refund. I tried to dispute it with my credit card company because it’s an act of God and I didn’t receive this service. I couldn’t even access the tickets. I will NEVER purchase anything from this company ever again based on how cold hearted and liars that they are.”
“Easily one of the worst ticket platforms I have ever used.
Bought Michigan vs Wisconsin tickets for my father’s birthday. Not only was the StubHub “application fees” $58 US PER ticket, the fee was more than the actual ticket. I was previewed with a great seat, the seats when we got there were absolutely horrible (know the arena more next time, the previews are not accurate at all - they show the best seat for the section you’re going into).
Finally, when they asked for a “recommendation rating” after the event, it would not let me press anything below a 6/10, like genuinely, I’m a 23 year old - I get technology, the moment I tried to give it a one star, the site would freeze and I would have to reload, I tried all of them up until the 6/10 and it finally accepted and provided a response”
What a JOKE of a company.
No wonder there are 23 states with class action lawsuits!”
