“I was unable to access my tickets the day of concert. Also, I was unable to access the parking spot that I paid 30.00 for due to construction and unable to drive into lot.
So I had to pay extra money for a different parking spot. Eventually the venue manager let us in bc she made an exception by seeing the email confirmation. Normally they don’t do this. We drove a long way to this event. Thankfully, after the kids and I were crying, they let us go to our seats.”
“I didn’t like the fact that I didn’t get my tickets until late Saturday night before a Monday night concert. Made me question if I would ever receive them. Also, bought a parking pass to go with our tickets. Thought it was a nice convenience. The picture of the lot that they showed looked fine but when we got there, it was in a very sketchy area and we didn’t trust walking at night in downtown St. Louis. So we parked elsewhere. StubHub flat out refused to refund the parking cost. Non negotiable. Our safety wasn’t their concern. Really turned me off of StubHub.”
“Bought concert tickets and parking pass for my son and tickets never came he was at the stadium until show time to be told that the tickets were not available and the replacement tickets were in no where near what I had brought so we opted for a refund. However when I asked about the parking refund I was told no because we used it of course we used it to get in the stadium to get tickets that weren’t available parking should also be refunded since we didn’t get to see the concert but they said NO very disappointed especially since it was a first concert”
“Buying a ticket was easy, selling was a whole different story! Will never do again. The auto response for customer service is the same no matter what. Very few of the directions actually matched up to the app choices. Transferred my ticket SO many times I lost count. I understand the concept of customer service over the phone, but after 2, 30 minute phone calls I got really tired of the girl apologizing for me being on hold and thanking me for my patience. I just wanted to get my issue solved so I could get to my concert and the seller to his.”
“The only reason I didn’t give StubHub only 1 star is because I had great success all other times I’ve used them. THEN today happened. Our beyond $1K tickets never showed up! It took 2.5 hours to get them replaced. My biggest complaint is the difficulty I had in finding a simple phone number to speak to a person. After trying for 30 minutes to find a phone number, I gave in and used the chat-bot. After 10-15 minutes, the chat bot gave me the option to chat with a human….BUT the anticipated wait was 29 minutes. As I waited I clicked all around the app and somehow discovered a phone number to call for help.
The customer service rep was very nice and ultimately set us up with replacement tix …AN HOUR AFTER the game started.
Also, in the event your tix are not sent to you, and you opt to get replacement tickets, StubHub keeps the difference if new tix happen to be less than the old number.”
“There is no transparency to what the ultimate cost of the ticket ultimately is. This is inclusive pricing. I found tickets to the concert that I felt was affordable for me to entertain a group of friends. But the total ticket pricing was much higher with all the add on fees and taxes which made the tickets unaffordable but I ate the cost as I had already promised treating my friends to this event. Other than that, the concert itself was a great experience and mobile access to the tickets was convenient.”
“Fees for both tickets and parking were ridiculously high. Stubhub charged $37 for each $70 ticket. For a $5 parking Stubhub charged close to $9 plus additional $8 as service charges.”
“Finding the tickets was fine. The delivery was also good. Had no problem with that aspect. My concern is the fee. I purchased 2 tickets at $45. There was a $27 processing fee for each ticket, which made the tickets a bit more expensive. Just curious on why such a high processing fee per ticket.”
“I bought tickets in January for an event in March. On the day of the event, the tickets had not been “released by the organizer.” This caused lots of anxiety throughout the day as StubHub did not provide replacement tickets and I was unsure if my kids and I should get ready, drive to the event, and pay for parking. I called StubHub roughly 2 hours before the event and was told someone would call me back in 5 mins to rectify the situation but nobody ever called. I called back and was hung up on. The third time I called, StubHub said I had to wait until after the event started to see if replacement tickets were coming or if I could get a refund. I called 2 more times before I was issued a refund. The event was sold out but the venue released some last minute tickets I was ably to purchase so my family and I could attend the show. I am supposed to receive my refund in up to 10 days. Overall, wouldn’t use again or recommend”
“Try to purchased two tickets for a baseball game for a $122, each. 258.64 after taxes. Additional fees of 90 plus dollars is ridiculous. My total was three hundred and forty three dollars. I am not please.
What happened? 90 plus dollars in fees.”
“Calling Stubhub's customer service is a shitshow. No one knows ANYTHING. And they say higher tier support is unavailable. Planning to switch to the other companies.”
“The seller failed to provide the correct parking pass. However, StubHub did provide a refund. Unfortunately, it was the day of the show (1 hour prior to the show)”
“Everything went wrong. Could not add my tickets to site because site would only allow me to add my Reserved Seating tickets as General Admission even though my event has NO General Admission seating. Finally had agent sent me a special link to add my tickets but then saw that the site had THREE listings on the site for the same event, date and time as mine but if you clicked two of the three links my tickets for sale did not appear. So someone could only buy my tickets if they happened to click on the right link out of the 3 options Then the site kept changing the price of my tickets. It would also show my Payout to be higher than the Selling Price. I called StubHub and the agent told that they would pay me to amount shown for the Payout, which I knew was a lie. Stubhub was not going to sell my tickets for $81 each but pay me $103.50. Over all just a totally bizarre, frustrating and horrible experience.”
