“XDP have stated my order was delivered on29/6/2020.Total Lies as was home all day.No delivery slot/text or phone call received.I have requested proof of delivery.ie.Drivers photograph of entrance doors a stated in their terms.The businesses who use this company should be very concerned as to the damaging effect it will have on their business.”
“If there was an option to give minus stars I would. They are certainly not worth 1 star.
They received my order of a bed on the 19th June and then in their wisdom decided to split the consignment into 2 deliveries.
Why any company would do this is beyond me as you are surely doubling your workload and transportation costs?
The first parcel was delivered to me on June 29th, 10 days after they received the consignment.
I am still waiting for the second parcel 7 days later.
Their oh so helpful tracking system shows the second parcel as still being at the delivery depot.
There are no telephone contact numbers on their awful website to contact them to track any missing package.
Their is an email address, but you only get an automated email reply advising you to track the consignment on their app or website.
I have done this and it shows my missing parcel sat in their delivery depot for the last 7 days.
What sort of courier company doesn't have customer service agents that you can speak with to help you receive your missing items?
What good is a bed shipped to you under 1 consignment number being split into 2 by the courier and the second part not being delivered???
For any future purchases I make I will find out with whom the order will be shipped with, if it is XDP I will not buy that product.
I have dealt with courier companies since I started working in 1984 and I can honestly say that XDP are by far the worst courier company I have ever dealt with, and that is comparing them to some of the cowboy companies that were around in the 1980's.
Avoid them like the plague.”
“I've been waiting for my delivery from Aldi since the 22nd June its being sitting at Depot 740 with no updates,you can't call XDP directly it's so frustrating,I have contacted Aldi 4 times now as this is my only channel of communication with the company unfortuantly they haven't had much success eirther as a paying customer what can I do now,surely a courier company are able to deliver your goods in a timely fashion,I'm at a loss but I will be perusing this until I get answers”
“Ordered a mattress from Groupon and it is now stuck somewhere with Xdp, have sent an email to them as they're tracking is not updating to be told they cannot find my mattress, what a joke of a company, how do you loose a mattress, now having problems getting my money back from Groupon and having to go through PayPal resolution. I advice anyone don't purchase from Groupon as they use xdp and you will be lucky to get your goods.”
“Ordered a triple bunkbed first part came on 3 rd of june still waiting for the other part of the bed. Been on the website tracker basically it says (consignments booked in for 1/01/30 so have to wait 10 years for it!! Tried to email tried to phone nothing. Very disappointed as my 4 year old was so excited to have a new bed. Have contacted the company i bought the bed they have tried several times to contact them appsolutly useless company. People should stop using this company as people are losing money not fair at all.”
“Sorry - didn't even want to give one star. Three words: USELESS,USELESS,USELESS. Too many inadequacies to mention in this review (damaged goods, wrong goods, drivers who would rather be somewhere else etc etc etc etc!)
The supplier customer service is excellent - such a tragedy that they are so badly let down by XDP. I can't even bring myself to call them a 'delivery' company.
I'd like to encourage everyone to complain to the Ombudsman! Please tell me they're not a privately owned British company - what a total embarrassment to our lovely 'white van man'!!

“Received notification they would deliver 10-12 today. It’s now 5:30pm. Still not delivered. No updates notification. No telephone number. Sent 2 emails & got 2 identical standard replies that don’t even touch the area of complaint. Not good enough. Will my item ever be delivered????”
“Trying to return damaged goods to the supplier. Unfortunately they use XDP as the courier and so far they, XDP, have missed 3 pick up times over 3 days.
Reading the reviews on this, and other review sites, it would appear that XDP are a total shambles.”
“Terrible courier. Items arrived late, one of the three boxes had been severely damaged and had a giant hole and pieces falling out... the main seal had also clearly been opened.
I quizzed the delivery driver about this but he shrugged, said it was fine, got back in his van and disappeared.
How are these people allowed to operate?

“These lads are a joke of a company, got a link to a tracking number that even after the 48hours wouldn’t work. Turns out they lost my order. Lads, how do ye loose a double bed? Comon now! Someone’s pinching products clearly. Reviews say it all, pity other companies are using them as a delivery service.”
“I was expecting a delivery that consisted of 4 boxes. I can see tufting their tracking app that they received all 4 together from the supplier but then decided to split the consignment. 3 boxes were delivered yesterday. The delivery driver said that this is something of a regular occurrence and he might be out later this week with the remaining box. My product is unusable without the final part. They don’t answer calls and I have had to go back to the supplier to chase this up. Honestly, I would not have used that supplier if i had know XDP would be involved in any way shape of form. Shoddy from start to finish.”
“Terrible courier. Ordered Aldi egg chair be find out it has been returned by XPD due to damage. This seems to have happened with a few people. I was not informed it was being returned and neother was Aldi. Aldi have since started an investigation. I requested the photos of the damaged item to be sent a blurred black and white photo. XPD supervisor then blames Aldi for its packaging. Avoid Avoid Avoid”
“Terrible company supposed to have a delivery today nothing . I also had a delivery from them back in April package damaged needless to say couldn't use so sent back after a lot of trouble with company had to fight for a pick up and a refund don't use them”
“XDP was supposed to collect an item from me today they should have e-mailed with a time slot this morning and nothing. This is the second time that they have failed to collect this item they should have come on 12th June. I’ve been so stressed since 27th March trying to send this item back and when XDP got in touch first time I thought great a light at the end of a tunnel but as I said they didn’t turn up. So I knew second time I would probably be let down again.”
“This company is a joke, they stated a specific time that they would deliver. Great I thought, but it was a no show and no one will answer any phones or reply to emails. I then received an email Saying they attempted delivery and left a card, a blatant lie. I have now cancelled my order from the consigner as they have obviously made a bad decision to use this company. The only way companies like this will be held to account is with customers voting with their feet, I would advice to check with the consigner who they use and not order if it’s XPD.”
“Worst delivery/collection service I had a seller use for my purchases.
Took so long to collect a return that the seller has arranged. Now over a week since they collected and still not returned to seller. eBay now tells me I took too long to return that I am not entitled to a refund. Fuming is an under statement as the seller sent out wrong size and seller also arranged collection and return with this courier. You can't even contact XPD via telephone and they do not reply to emails. Attached is a screenshot taken at 01:52 on Saturday June 27.... Useless but shows how long I have been waiting for return to be collected and returned!!”

“Furniture ( a 5 piece conservatory set) took 6 weeks to arrive - first 2 tables, then a week later the sofa and one chair. The labels on the chair packaging had been cut off, and the chair leg was broken. The second chair has yet to arrive - XDP are looking for it!
The supplier has been very helpful, but I have told them I won`t be buying anything else from them unless they change their appalling delivery company.”
