Bought a shelving unit from Adexa but parts were missing from the box. After contacting Adexa explaining this and sending pictures I was told that if I wanted those parts I needed to search other sites with the product code and buy them. Utterly ridiculous, shameful and disgusting. According to Adexa, should you buy something you are only entitled to a percentage of it. Buy a car, no wheels on it, your problem. Buy a house, no windows, your problem. Adexa company slogan : “You buy, we send something or part of something. That’s your problem”.

I wish I read the reviews, will never buy again cheap products, awful customer service and returns policy, take way to long to reply to emails which voided my warranty.Hope they go bankrupt.

Everything is damaged We purchased almost £10K worth of items from this company and almost everything is damaged. Read their Policy on inspecting the product before unloading it. Once you unload from the delivery truck it is your problem. They will charge you to return it. We have cardboard boxes without a mark on them. Unbox the item and the damage on the product was like they had been hit with a forklift or dropped from a height. The service is appalling and I would strongly recommend not buying a thing from them.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY I really wish I had seen all the negative reviews about Adexa Direct before making my purchase. It seems there’s even a Facebook group called "Adexa Direct Catering Equipment - Beware" dedicated to sharing stories about their poor service and products. I ordered a back bar cooler, and when it arrived, it had a completely different controller than what was advertised and what was included in the product instructions. Despite my best efforts, I haven’t been able to figure out how to use the new controller. I've been in constant email correspondence with Megan, the sales advisor, for months now with no progress. I’ve asked for help, sent videos showing my attempts to set up the cooler, and still haven’t received a clear solution. It’s become obvious that the company has no understanding of how this new controller works either. At one point, I was told they might arrange a return, but if their engineers determine the cooler isn’t faulty, I’d be charged to have it sent back. I’ve explained repeatedly that I can’t even confirm if the cooler is faulty because I don’t know how to use the controller — it’s completely different from what was advertised and from the instructions provided. And to make matters worse, they don’t seem to have any knowledge of how to use the new controller either. Now, they’re telling me I need to pay for an engineer’s report to determine if the cooler is faulty, and provided a list of criteria the report must cover. Essentially, they want me to pay more money just to figure out if the cooler is defective. All I’m asking for is clear instructions on how to use the controller, yet I’ve been met with vague responses like "press it twice," or "press it again." It’s clear they have no clue how to use the controller themselves and I have sent videos of me trying to use it Megan’s emails have been frustratingly unhelpful, and she often states, “I’m not trying to be difficult,” but that’s exactly how it feels. After months of emails, I’ve gotten nowhere. They’ve sent me a cooler with an unfamiliar controller, no one knows how to use it, and they’ve failed to resolve the issue. I’m now considering legal action to address the situation.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying from them. Since hey advertise everywhere I thought they were genuine trades people. found out now they're scammers. Bought a dishwasher and a glasswasher from them. Now I am out of pocket by £2k. The quality is the worst I could have imagined even for a tenner let alone Paying £1k a piece. The glasswasher doesn't even fill with water they asked for a qualified installation engineer's headed letter report when the instructions does not state engineer installation is needed. Save your cash and do not ever order from them and if they let you down take them to court I certainly will.

1 star too many for a company like this. Unfortunately I had to find out the difficult way how. Firstly ordered a product that came damaged, talked to customer service who then said that they need to investigate. I sent pictures and a video as a proof apparently not good enough. Then when looking into options found a better product online and said I need to return this one as I found the better one, they said they can get it back as they need to finish investigation. Then asked to speak to supervisor which answer was they may or may not call back later.

Hilariously I was thinking a one star review would be problematic for these sharks. Not worth going into much it would seem, since they apparently can't organise a P in a Brewery - but what I will say is they sold us an ice machine that makes slabs of ice that look like they could be cubes if they were made better. They claimed because there was a picture in the listing of someone holding a slab of ice that we should have known. Much like a printer seller arguing that a huge blob of ink on a page was "what it does" - or a seller of "sliced bread" handing over a full loaf. It does need to do the one thing you advertise, you big load of pirates! Anyway - we're £400 down and 12 emails to what might as well be a bot, to achieve nothing but "it's supposed to make massive slabs". Try putting one of those in your G&T.

Very very bad customer service, first of all they don't consider customer a "customer first"policy they only consider adexa made policy first. Rachel and Alex very bad service, She will argue with you just to prove you wrong ,even though she agreed that they made mistake and they have sent wrong items , but they can't take them back and I have to order it again and and she was credit for £ 22 even though item which I ordered and came wrong that is around £ 152 What a joke Rachel is Never buy again Other company like Nisbet and cater they are lot cheaper and best customer service

Why is this company still trading as all the reviews are absolutely spot on. The company has no after sales at all and will not be using them again. Do not use this company absolutely useless after spending nearly £3k with them.

This is not a good company to buy from Made an order which I’ve received it on 2 different dates and had a part missing from what I’ve ordered which I called them and reported the missing part they told to wait the part never arrived. Wrote to them they offered me a partial refund when I refused it they told they can’t assist me anymore as I’ve not reported the missing part that they told me to wait for it now they’re saying i should have reported within 24 hrs which I did and been told to wait. This company is a SCAM

What a sham of a company, products supplied damaged and after weeks of complaining they basically say they will do nothing as its your fault for accepting the delivery. In the event you want to return a product they insist that you pay for the transport + 20% restocking charge + an admin fee, all in all you have to pay almost the cost of the item. In all my years of working with commercial suppliers I have not come across a company that blatantly does not care if you get a product that is undamaged or in working order. There is no after sales service and the products are often poor quality. Avoid this company at all cost and purchase from other reputable companies.

I purchased a glasswasher in August. The overheat stat had cut out 4 times since August. I have had over 30 years of experience repairing machines so I knew the overheat stat was faulty. I rang Adexa service and I was on hold for over 60 mins until I spoke to anyone. i was told to take a photo of the part, a photo of the serial number plate and a report from a qualified engineer. Having over 30 years of experience I wrote a report on my companies official job sheet. Two weeks later I get a response from the service department requesting the information I had previously sent. This level of customer service is totally unacceptable and the customer I sold the machine to was left without a working machine for over 2 weeks. I will not be purchasing any more equipment from this company.

If I could leave 0 stars I would because their customer care and service is non extant. I have called customer serviced twice and have both times been on hold for almost 2 hour. The customer service lady was rude and unhelpful. The trolley we receive was completely broken before delivery and has not been removed from its box. However because of a time delay due to school holidays and a wrong email, Adexa refused to replace or discuss the broken trolley. We now have a broken brand new trolley that we will have to dispose of as the broken parts are hard plastic and can't be repaired. I did not even get an apology from your customer service about the long wait on the phone, the fact that the trolley was broken or that you won't be helping us. Just; We can't do anything to help you because of the long delay between delivery. (About 6 weeks from receiving it) The item is still in the box as received sitting in our school reception office.

Here’s an example of a critical review for an online seller: Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs Rating: 0/5 I had the worst ever experience with this seller.Ordered over 2k worth items. Only part of the order arrived, some items were damaged. The quality was subpar. To make matters worse, their customer service is non-existent. I tried reaching out multiple times via email and phone, but no one responded. When I finally got a reply, it was dismissive and unhelpful. They refused to process a refund for the damage items and pay back money for the items that they had never been sent. This seller clearly doesn’t care about their customers or the quality of their products. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

I was a little wary after reading other negative reviews... Should have paid more attention! Had a fridge delivered. It's DOA - doesn't get cool. Chased and chased via email, live chat - they just don't respond. Tried to call - you are permanently at "position 10 in the queue", it never goes down. How on earth can a company exist like this in 2024, what a joke. I'll end up going throguh card company to get a refund, what a waste of everyone's time.
