Slim well chicken saag Looked forward to trying this low calready meal. On the positive side, plenty of chicken and spinach and a decent portion size. The downside unfortunately was lack of taste and was very watery. If the curry was thicker maybe the flavour would have been more enhanced. Please Aldi, if you want to compete in the slimming/ healthier market, take note.

The products at Aldi are mainly quite good. Training should however be given to staff. Re stocking pallets blocking aisles. Blasé replies or even grunts when asked to move obstruction. Till staff completely unconcerned when they push checked items off the extremely small collections area onto the floor. They check items so fast, it’s impossible to keep up with placing them into my trolley. A jar of jam being the latest casualty. Not a good advert for the company.

Went to aldi in shettleston with two £5 vouchers. I found the prices extremely expensive. For £9.82 I got a pizza, a ready meal (macaroni and cheese), a carton of apple juice, two yoghurts, tub of butter, tub of cream cheese, a pkt of sanitary towels, two macaroni pies and a pkt of bagels. I was 2p short for a carrier bag and instead of just letting me have one, I had to run round the shop asking people for two pence or the woman behind the till was going to make me walk home struggling to carry all my shopping in my arms. Terrible customer service, will not be shopping here again

Aldi only seem to post good reviews. I have tried to post on two occasions with criticism and both times were moderated and not posted. A shame as my reviews were very balanced and polite. Items turning up with no instructions how to put together is a genuine matter ! Having to wait a week to get them emailed a disgrace in this day and age. The actual items were good value for money and are beautiful!

Inspired Cuisine Liver and Bacon. As you can see from the picture, the liver is at least 2 different types. (Light and dark?) There was plenty of it, but my Cat's would not eat it, even after dicing it. The amount of bacon is very sparse. I would not buy it again.

Average but need to stock doggy bags. When a supermarket is based in an area with a high percentage of dog owners and they stick the dog food, they need to acknowledge that just as a parent disposed of a nappies, a responsible dog owner also picks up and bins its mess.

So I love shopping at aldi at the Ramona location. I save a lot compared to stat bros. But I have to be honest o put one thing, I question how well the tray employees. I not they throw things in the cart when checking out like fast and furious. The cashier are time by speed and they end up damaging the food. Hope this company is not another slave driving company. You know to many chefs and not enough little Indian. Retail is hard but they push really hard. That’s to bad.

I love Aldi, going ones a week spending 120$-150$, buying organic milk for my kids and many other things we like, but cashiers are not friendly and yesterday she did not say bye hi or thank you and charged me double for one item. She looked at me like I am a monster. I am always friendly with all cashiers. That’s one thing I don’t like at ALDIs . But prices and quality are good.

Was glad to see aldis opening up in rehoboth, but disappointed that prices are higher for a lot of items in rehoboth than in Dover. I will be going to Dover to shop. Some items are only pennies less than giant just up the road.

Regularly shop at the Coulsdon store. Items very competively priced and generally good value. Shoppers need to check sell by dates carefully though on perishable foodstuffs as often they are only within date for a couple of days. Very disappointed with their soft fruit such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc. Found much of it rotten so now don't purchase this from Aldi anymore. Unlike competitors, store doesnt have an express till for people who just need to get a basket of groceries or a few items.

Specially Selected Premium Raspberry Fruit Spread This is the second time that we have had this glass jar brake on the bottom from normal use. That would be we use a butter knife to scoop out the jam to put on our pancakes. The last time the whole bottom fell out and this time a small piece landed on my 4 year old daughters plate. Luckily she found it with her hands and didn't swallow it. I would highly recommend not using this jar anymore. We will not be buying it anymore for safety reasons. I hope the company listens to this complaint and takes it seriously since this is not the first time it has happened to us and must happen all the time. I'm writing this review to inform others of the danger these jars pose. I hope they take the appropriate action before someone gets seriously injured. On a side note I had a glass jar that wasnt an Aldi's product break in my hand when I was closing it and it cut my palm right open down to the bone, not a fun experience. Fragile jars are really dangerous.

The staff at the click and collect make me happy...that's it. I shop this way due to being vulnerable, I order a week in advance, being Easter I ordered their whole leg of lamb which needs pre ordering and not available until a certain date.as Aldi charge twice as much as other supermarkets I thought that special Easter orders would be collated in the ordering process as do other supermarkets. On collection I was told they had no whole legs and had replaced it with half a leg at the same price! Thanks for nothing Aldi.

We have always enjoyed the Fishmonger 4 Chunky Battered Haddock Fish Fillets. They now have a "Improved Recipe". What a shame, they have totally changed the flavour and texture. Why do they have to try improve something that is already good. Its the last lot we will buy there, unless it goes back to the original recipe. It's back to the Iceland Fish Product now.

Aldi is cheap for some things and that is the only reason I go there. A lot has been said about poor COVID 19 response by this store. I go there late evening when it is not busy. Last time I went they had spray but had run out of cloths to wipe down the hand baskets. No hand sanitiser. Many of the staff seem less then enthusiastic about working there. My reason for complaining today is because I am just now trying to eat ‘sweet pepper’ fish cakes (sweet peppers are salad peppers and are not the same as the hot chillies, the main difference being, they are not hot. I can’t eat hot food as it does not suit my digestive system. Hence I purchased these believing they were NOT HOT! ). Can you imagine how I felt when I sat down to my meal and then finding it was so hot I could barely eat it. Because I hate waste and finding an alternative means defrosting something I will take the risk and try and work my way through it. I also will in future steer clear of anything from Aldi that is breadcrumbs for the good reason that mostly these concoctions have so much crumb that the protein content must be almost non existent. In conclusion, under normal circumstances, quite a bit of good but, especially in respect of pricing, but best to be choosy.

We shop at Aldi every week because of the brilliant value for money. Most of their products are good quality at a good price. HOWEVER, just recently I have had to take 'fresh' chicken back for the second time. On both occasions, the chicken had gone off well before the 'use before' date, and on both occasions I was given a replacement, but without surprise, explanation or apology from the store manager. This leads me to believe that Aldi are still purchasing in chicken from dodgy sources, which is unbelievable after the scandals a couple of years ago. My other gripe relates to their Covid policies. Basically, Aldi, being generally cramped, cannot comply with Covid distancing store policies, so you are taking a risk most times you shop there, especially if the mask policy is not enforced by their staff. Having said all this, we will continue to shop at Aldi, but with caution.

I first discovered Aldi about 2010, when I moved to Llandrindod Wells. They had super products, which sometimes disappeared, only to reappear at M&S at 3 times the price. They obviously had some really brilliant buyers. Then 2 or 3 years ago, it felt like the accountants took over, and since then the quality of the goods has gone down and down. I love the Llandod shop and the staff are brilliant, but the range is shrinking and I am slowly buying more and more of my groceries from their competitors - pity really. I was their greatest advocate - I used to recommend them to everyone. But alas, they seem to me no longer the great value they once were.
