“I walked into my local Aldi at Porthmadog and could see a huge difference. The shelves were full of fresh colourful produce. Every shelf, fridge compartment well stocked , the floors had just been washed, it looked neat and clean . Lots of staff were busy around the store . No-one was at the tills but as soon as they saw a customer at the check out she was told they would be with her immediately. I was greeted by a cheerful smile at the check out. Well impressed.”

“New ALDi store in Diss, very impressed large aisles so plenty of room, very helpful staff, only fault is if you park farthest end away from store you have to walk back to store to park trolley then back to car as there is nowhere to leave trolley.”

“I went to Aldi (Heswall) today for a garden parasol base. It was extremely heavy and I could lift it. I asked a gentleman who worked there ( unfortunately don’t have his name) if someone could assist me and he asked Callum to help me. He had to lift it into the trolley, back out to scan ( the code wouldn’t work) and then accompanied me to my car and lifted it into the boot.

It's a lovely tasting beer which is why it often sells out. I have tried a few different coffee stouts but this is by far the best. It's also at a great honest price. Keep up the great work”

“Hello there,Well today I was on your self service,I,no,the machine,had to call
the attendant a few times,he was perfectly pleasant and explained things to me.I have had the same attendant on the manned checkout and seen him,and probably asked for his help at times,so I know he is good.
I saw another older woman who I thought was being very grumpy with him and thought in case she complains I want to counter argue his case! I did not get his name,I imagine from the receipt you will know who it is,was a nice young man with a fabulous beard! :) My compliments to him :)
I would like to add that mostly I am ok with your machines,but honestly do you really need them,the service on the checkout was always excellent,so swift and efficient always,I think you have come down a bit by using self service too much.”
