I tried Nordpak for the first time, tastes just like Lurpak, but a hell of a lot cheaper, it still works out cheaper per KG to get the big tub of Flora Buttery in most shops, but when I want to treat myself I'll go for Aldi's stuff from now on instead of getting Lurpak, I also have some of their version of Anchor butter, but I haven't tried it yet. Oh, if you're looking for a nice treat you can keep in the freezer, grab the Triple Chocolate Gateaux, it tastes fantastic and it's really cheap, I'm not usually one for cakes, but the Gateaux does it for me.

We have shopped at Aldi for years. The quality is generally good. The big disappointment more recently has been the consistently poor quality of Maris Piper potatoes at the Glenrothes store. They are full of black bits possibly caused by long term storage and I found that only about 50% was edible. I have now started to shop elsewhere for this important staple.

For the first time today me and my children visited the new Store in Reading Retail Park . Such an amazing big store ! All member of staff friendly and happy to help . Especially the girl who works at one of the tills , happy to explain to me with some issues that I had about the dates on the products and when I asked if there is any (same) product available she was more than happy to ask and find out . Happy with the service that they and she provided .

I often go to Aldi, this store is near my house. The selection is average, but the prices are good, and sometimes they have interesting products.

Aldi is a good shop as far as uk shops go at least, it's nice and cheap however the only gripe I had was that I bought a twilight Reed diffuser thinking it was going to smell like the candle version i smelled in shop when I bought it it had an awful slightly sickly floral smell not like the candle which had a slight sea salt smell to it it gave me headache too-dont buy

The only worse thing about Aldi, is no barcode on food or any item, just stupid lines. Get that sorted. I'm gluten free and I can never scan an aldi product.

Good click and collect but far too expensive at 4.99. Costs less to have groceries delivered by other supermarkets.

I'd give Aldi 5 stars if they gave you a second to look at your receipt. More than 1/2 the time they charge double for items or the listed sale price does not reflect because they have to work too fast. Therefore, it has become a job to get refunded. It causes anxiety which is why many skip the store.

My first ever Click & Collect - good experience. This service at Welwyn Garden City was very good - quick, efficient, member of staff very pleasant, only one item not available, and no substitutes! Only downside is high charge £4.99 for Click & Collect, I don’t object to charge - just the amount. I believe some supermarkets charge £1.50 and deliver for FREE dependent on amount spent. Do like the compostable delivery bags 👏🏻👏🏻 👏🏻

This review is not about the quality of goods within Aldi but about a particular store condition. I do not ever have anything nice to say about this company but today is different. On Monday 26 October 2020 I went into my local store in Dover, Kent. It was bright and shiny, no pallets of stock all over the place and the checkout female was very nice and friendly towards me. Maybe a new manager but whatever it was well done. Again, this is not about their goods.

Aldi at Southampton Road Portsmouth is a real pleasure to shop in. Clean, bright airy store, well stocked and helpful friendly staff. Great location, good parking, decent produce. What's not to like? I didn't expect champagne at beer prices but I've not been disappointed with anything so far ... try it out. Just be selective, eh? There's nothing to lose.

Aldi is great if you're not a brand snob. Ok not everything is as good as, say Sainsbury's or Waitrose but I've found several items that I believe could be the same item as the big brands at a massive reduction in price. Such as their own brand Norpak, which is pretty similar to a certain Scandinavian styled spread. Also a premium brand powdered coffee has an equivalent in Aldi that is just as good but much cheaper.
