Having returned an item, I called to check my refund status, it's going to take up to 21 days to refund, I was then told by the rep on the phone, why was I surprised it's written all over our website! I found the call rude and condescending from the American rep, I would avoid using this company unless you know you will not need to return an item. A little more training required for your reps on the phone on how to converse with customer in a way that makes the customer the priority! Customer satisfaction goes a long way.

Worst customer service. Delivery was left outside on the road. Was not there when I returned home. After many emails unanswered I called. According to alpine trek I have to liaise with courier to resolve this myself. Jenny from alpine trek would talk over me and would not let me speak. Seems like a company run by cowboys

Sent me the wrong item, which had been advertised as the wrong product ( the pictures of the item were wrong on the website) so I paid for delivery and returned costs for an item wrongly advertised and was not refunded either! Awful customer service, will not be ordering from them again.

Andrew - appalling customer service agent Recently ordered from alpinetrek, would advise against. Order was delayed, I needed by the 7th of the month, no response from courier, so I informed Andrew that if not here by the 7th I would need to return . He responded stating that delivery would happen that day by 7pm (5th). Great! No. Andrew then decided to recall the order when it was 3 hours from my location stating I wanted a refund?! When I have called Andrew directly, I was met with appealing customer service, a belligerent attitude who couldn't care less about his position or my issue. Main word choic in response to any questions was Mmmkay. Now I've been advised I'll have to wait for a refund until they receive the item back. Complete farce. Appalling customer service, not once was an apology made. Would not use company in future.

Quality winter womens coats. I ordered 2 sizes in the same coats . Lovely coats but came up too big for me as I'm under 5ft. Delivered in the 5 to 7 days I was told ot would be. Eady to return by printing off return label. Notified me at every stage of return. Refund in the time they stated. Very good company. Thankyou. Kim

I appreciate C O N C E P T S T R D / C O M assistance in helping me obtain my returns from this phony trade company. Though I didn't believe in them at first, someone posted about them on this same website and I thought to give it a try. To my surprise, though, is how fast and how reliable they are when it comes to helping on recovery, C O N C E P T S T R D / C O M is the best. I can't believe it and am still curious about how and what they did to help me get my refund in just three days.

Be careful of Scam companies, i was scammed by this same company and some other like that, they took lots of funds out of my Business account every week, all my attempt to stop them they keep intended to ignore me, not untill i reported them to ''KeZooK '' they fought for human right and helps clam what was rightfully yours, with their help am able to smile again and got am my lost funds, not only what this company did to me, they help in any ways you need they to be of help when it comes to getting your fuunndsss back

It's a shame that 0 stars doesn't exist after my experience with them today. So I called their customer service and this man answered. I tried to explain to him why my refund wasn't processed as it has been over 6 weeks since they have received the product. I was quite upset and asked him that I wanted to know. He said "why are you shouting I'm not going to talk to you" and he hung up. I was upset that they are holding £100 for over a month and a half and they kept telling me this is fine and they will sort it. Naturally I was upset but I didn't shout at him and he didn't even give me a chance to explain. So I called again and asked for his name. He refused to give me his name and whats more, he hung up the second time! I can't believe this level of customer service even exist in this day and age. I called the third time and was surprised to find an automated message stating that their entire team is out on an external office training and to contact them tomorrow. This is the worst way any company can handle a customer complaint. You should train your staff better and more importantly, issue refunds on time instead of holding customers money. Give me my money back Alpinetrek!

I returned a pair of approach shoes as they were too small. I sent the parcel on 11th September with it arriving in Bury St Edmunds on the 14th at the uk depot. Almost six weeks later I still await a refund. I contacted Alpine Trek by email and got the same excuses already mentioned here. I lost the postal receipt,but Royal Mail tracking shows parcel received. What do they think I sent them ? Needless to say my refund is lost in space somewhere. Never again!

Didn’t receive the parcel and upon many enquiries as to where my parcel was, I eventually received what was obviously an automated email telling me that my parcel had been lost and an enquiry will start. I’m never seeing that money, or my parcel.

BEWARE – Alpine Trek denied that the item was returned and refused a refund I returned walking boots worth £204 to Alpine Trek’s UK hub and received proof of delivery from Royal Mail. But Alpine Trek refused to refund me (claiming, after weeks of blaming Brexit paper work, that they hadn’t received them - despite my sending them proof). They then claimed they needed proof of postage, not of delivery. Given that proven delivery could not happen without my posting, I had innocently binned the post office postage receipt. I doubt it would have made any difference though. I complained (no response) and wrote to both their CEOs (no response). This suggests that the rot starts at the top. I see from other reviews (I wish I’d read them first!) that this has happened to many others. Is this fraud, or just poor systems combined with a total lack of customer care? I don’t know – but either way, avoid. Note also that using their return label means that Alpine Trek, not you, are Royal Mail’s customer – so you have no right to ask for compensation. Only Alpine Trek can – and, surprise surprise, they are not interested in doing so. Buy elsewhere.

Returned item and it appears to be lost and no refund. Gave them royalmail.com tracking data it was returned to their depot. They want physical receipt evidence. Avoid.
