“We bought a new TV. The price was good and, even though we live in a rural area, delivery was reasonably prompt. the delay was (probably) caused by a few days languishing in the regional depot for the courier service.”

“Appliance Central pricing was definitely competitive which is why I purchased from them. However, there was an issue with delivery which, I am aware Appliance Central had no control over but delayed delivery caused enough anxiety to make me vow to purchase from Harvey Norman next time. The TV was in stock and only $75 dearer and the $75 would have been worth paying to eliminate delivery delays”

“Appliance Central were MUCH cheaper than the major retailers - so much so that we were initially a bit suspicious - but no issues. Goods we’re dispatched rapidly and received in good condition. Delivery was a bit annoying, but that was due to contract delivery company, not Appliance Central.”

“Appliance Central were great. Their chosen courier company Amarex are the worst (only reason why it's not give star). Sadly my new TV fell over the next day and is destroyed, wasn't meant to be :( but Appliance Central were easy to deal with!”

“Aramex Courier Service is AWFUL! While my experience with Appliance Central has been very satisfactory, I still have not received the appliance. Aramex Couriers have tried to deliver twice but as I am not at home most of the time they leave a calling card with instructions to rebook the delivery which is just a merry-go-round because I will not be home the next time they try to deliver. They say on their website that they have local collection points but that is not one of the options when you rebook the delivery. I have now called them 4 times with no result or joy. Overseas call centre, staffed by people whose English is a very distant second language and who seem unable to do anything except instruct me to rebook the delivery. The whole episode has become a farce. Aaramex have now charged me an extra $11.00 for redelivery which is due tomorrow and likely I will miss them again and so it will continue. NOT IMPRESSED!”
