“Bought a rubber gas pipe which was fine. Also bought a regulator which was poorly manufactured. The nut on the 8mm pipe side was too long. When screwed down it stopped before the olive could be compressed. Tried with varying size olives and the nut would not compress it. Has to grind it shorter in order for it to work. Poorly manufactured product.
Bought from Calor as I believed it would be higher quality than another no name brand. Apparently not...”

“I have refused to accept the heater on delivery because, I did contact Calor Gas to cancel the order.
I have emailed the team informing them of the request to cancel. The said it is too late.
I completed the returns form on the 12th January 2024 and sent it to Returns Department.
I have been waiting to receive the refund and dod email Jonathan I Returns Department. This over a week and they have not responded.

Once an order has been dispatched we are unable to cancel it during transit. As you refused the delivery the parcel had to come back to our Warehouse. Once we received it back a refund was processed.

“I was a bit disappointed that I was told delivery would be on a Thursday, then Wednesday, and then on the Wednesday some bloke phoned and said the pallet was at the depot, and that the earliest they could get to me was Friday, but that I could collect it if I wanted, which I did because I didn’t want to be messed around any more. Also not happy that I was expected to run the stove at full blast for 4 hours to burn off the log fumes when the gas costs over £50 for a refill. The logs should come primed and ready for use. Other than that the stove performs as expected, and we are happy with our purchase.”

Pallet deliveries take 3-4 working days to arrive so your order was not scheduled to arrive until Thursday 07/12/2023 or Friday 08/12/2023. We are surprised that your order was available to collect on Wednesday however, it would have been delivered on the Friday as scheduled by the driver. Every set of coals/logs for the heaters needs to be cured unfortunately for 4 hours which is stated in the instructions and recommended by the manufacturer which is unavoidable.

“The heater. Blue Belle Chic 4.2kW Blue Flame Portable Gas Cabinet Heater works very well but the flimsy nature of the door which conceals the gas container is very concerning. Should you wish to sit near the fire and feel warm you will be disappointed, it is intended to heat an area. The safety items which are built in are very good and I will be interested to know how accurate the consumption of gas is.”
“The appliance arrived damaged and had been removed from box before, customer services were helpful but there was no gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused to me. Item replaced but added time to my job and then the new item turned up missing parts. Again, customer services were good and the parts are now on route but the inconvenience was not considered.”

Ordered online - they sent the wrong model (more expensive than I ordered) but I phoned to say it was wrong model!
They said put it outside and they’d arrange a collection - then once collected they’d send out the right one!
I had to phone 6 days later to say it’s still outside getting wet. They apologised and said they’d pick it up that day - so far (2days later) it’s still outside and I don’t have what I’ve ordered!!!!!!!”

“I received the heater very quickly, thank you very much. As it is summer, I'm in no position to try it out. I got it in the summer to ensure I can get one at all. Most places seem to be out of stock even now.
However - I find it disappointing that there is no centralized utility for ordering gas bottles online and having them delivered. There is a list of stockists, to whom I have to place phone calls to find out what they've got in stock and whether they can deliver. I don't have a car.”

“Assembled the unit and picked it up by its handle and it broke off! Luckily I don't think I damaged the main unit. I believe the handle assembly is not robust enough for the job, a screw into thin plastic is just asking for trouble, especially given the weight of the grill.”

“The service was fine in that what I ordered came quickly. What is not fine is that I needed to purchase a longer gas pipe to connect a 7Kg cylinder to my motorhome because Calor has stopped retailing the 3.9Kg bottles with absolutely no provision and my locker doesn't have room for the larger bottle. Nor am I happy that the longest pipe available, 30", is not long enough, meaning that I have to stand the larger bottle on a platform to prevent it pulling on the internal copper piping. Why was no consideration given for loyal Calor customers - I have been buying gas from Calor for over 20 years - to enable them to transition to another supplier? I am also frustrated that I am unable to talk to anyone from Calor about this problem. I was simply told that Calor does not deal directly with the public. What did Calor think was going to happen? or do the directors not care about anyone other than larger customers?”

“Love the product it works really well and it is easy to use.I bought a skottle braai to go with the grill to braai and when I tried to use it it does not fit on the grill 2 braai I placed a complete order and would have hoped that this would be picked up and sorted with myself but was not so I will have to call and c what can be done in regards exchanging or refund. But all this said I really love the grill to braai and delivery was straightforward and easy.”
