I purchased a new dryer in April. $600 There was poor communication regarding delivery. I stayed at home two days when I was told.it would arrive and NOTHING. Contacted them and received no response. When it arrived I had come he.from.work and needed to get back ASAP as I had left disabled kids without support so could not have it installed. I arranged for my builder brother who has installed many laundries to put it in. It made a rotten noise so I got him to put it in the garage and reported to Appliances online. . They passed me.to someone else and here we are 4 months later . If I'd purchased from Good Guys or Harvey Norman..or any white goods store I would be able to take it back exchange with out a headache...but not Appliances online. They get the manufacturer to repair it. Well here I am 4 months later and still have to run the dryer in the garage due to noise! Essato will be my next review. . But if I'd not bought from Appliances Online. I wouldn't be making ANY review. I purchased a TV that had a sound issue last week. Took it back to Good Guys, no questions asked , replaced the TV!! It cost more than this dryer! I have experienced serious emotional challenges in this time. I don't have it in me to argue. I should have made a claim ages ago. I will through consumer services. You DONT buy brand new items to be messed around with inspections and repairs!! Appliances Online are the ones who took my money so should be their responsibility. Update. Contacted by Appliances Online they claim they need to make sure its not my fault..as if I could break a dryer I just received in one use. I had a problem with a TV at twice the price from Good Guys. They don't ask if you broke it!! They exchanged it without causing me grief or stress because customer service is their priority. Appliances online have ignored messages and passed the buck. At the end of the day they are the ones who took my money and it is their responsibility! I hope this review helps others to spend that little bit more to buy from a store!

We purchased a washing machine, but had to go back due to being faulty, paid extra for a better quality one. When it arrived the 2 delivery guys swapped over the 2, but also had to move out our small freezer due to the power being behind the small freezer. When they did this they knocked out the electric plug to our freezer, we weren't aware of this until several days later when we opened the freezer door, the drawers were full of water and the meat was defrosted, and could not be safely eaten. I contacted appliances online 8 times over 6 weeks, got the run around. In the end they refused to accept what had happened and refused to pay the $180 for the damaged butcher purchased top quality meat, even though we had the receipt for the meat and photos. We were regular customers of appliances online, spending a few thousands on all new white goods, but will not be buying from them anymore. Buyers beware they pass the buck and won't accept responsibility for their mistakes

We got a washing machine installed, guy never brought any tools or spanner’s to tighten the water pipe, so leaking everywhere after the man’s left. He text me asking to turn the tap off and never returned. Told me I should go to Bunnings to get plumber tape. Spoke to a plumber and he’s told me he’s installed it a hot water pipe and not the cold like it should be Joke of a customer service!

Like some other reviews here, after many years of buying products from AOL, now the first time we ask for support for a defective BBQ, we are endlessly buck-passed and avoided. Again this would appear contrary to Australian consumer law and although we asked for a refund, we got nowhere, instead being deflected to the wholesaler & who aslo has done litttle. Buyer beware. AOL's 'customer support' is completely worthless in our experience.

Ordered a fridge. The first one came dented so they said they would send another one the following tuesday. The delivery driver walked up the stairs and said it wouldn't be a problem getting it up. The following week the delivery driver said he would have to organise a 4 man team to bring it up. So delayed another two days. Had to take 3 days off work - no compensation or offer of a discount or voucher. Just glad my old fridge hadn't completely broken down. Just disappointing all round.

What a total scam this lot are - order a fridge with a 6 week lead time due to it being shipped from manufacturing location. 2 days prior to agreed delivery date get a call saying no longer manufactured and I can buy a different brand stocked locally. You reckon they find out 2 days before delivery its not coming.

UNBELIEVABLE and i have been an extremely loyal customer that has been raving about how great they are for years- this time, there was something extra that needed to be done. Have called, emailed, written on their main website. We have had NO contact from them whatsoever, no washing machine and clearly no interest in follow up. Beyond poor service and bitterly disappointed by the experience as they have been so wonderful in the past

Disgraceful from start and, still going. I've waited over two months for delivery. Online chat and call centre useless. Every person you speak/chat with gives you different answers. Very disappointed and certainly don't put customers first. (customers keep you in a job! You seem to forget that) l don't recommend Appliances Online. I'd rather pay more at one of the many competitor's stores than buy from here again. You assured me item has been posted..aussie post has no record item has been posted. First pic, answer from appliances online. Second pic, answer from Aussie post.

We purchased a series 6 BOSCH Dishwasher from AOL in OCT 2021. I would NOT recommend this unit or other BOSCH UNITS. Here are the issues...... 1 - The logo and lettering keep coming off, we are very carful when we clean the door however over time the letters come off. BOSCH have replaced the door twice and now that it is out of warranty they don't want to know about it, the unit is no good. 2 - E15 Error - the unit can not not be used, it has flooded somehow the day before Christmas. Again, not a good unit. 3 - On / Off button does not work sometimes. 4 - Now that we are out of warranty, we have to use the AOL extended warranty, third party company and non Bosch service company..... Absolute appalling after sales customer service, bought a TV, fitted it to the letter of the instructions, eventually plugged it in, half the screen doesn’t work!!! Appliance online palm me off to the manufacturer TCL who asked me why I hung the TV….what???? They say it’s not their problem!! It’s obviously been done in transit but appliance online have been shocking to deal with, all I want is my TV to work……,$1800 spent and nothing to show for it!! This has been going on for a month…..do not purchase from them, the back up is disgraceful….

Very disappointed. Bought and organised delivery of an appliance with a weeks notice. Was waiting until 11am day of delivery only to be called and told the warehouse had not loaded. And then it would take another two days. Not good enough

I am writing this review/complaint to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Appliances Online. On November 17th, I contacted the company to purchase a fridge, and I was assisted by customer support representative Estella Graham. Initially, Estella was helpful in negotiating the price of the fridge as per my request. I specifically mentioned that I wanted to use PayPal to divide the payment into four installments, and I also emphasized that the fridge needed to be delivered by the end of December. However, while I was on the phone with Estella, she unexpectedly asked for my credit card information. Unfortunately, as soon as I finished providing my credit card number, I received a notification from my bank indicating that I had been charged over $1500 in one go. This immediate charge caught me off guard, and I promptly informed Estella about the issue. She apologized and offered a $100 discount as a gesture of apology. I then requested her to send me an email explaining the situation, assuring me that I would receive a refund and that the payment would be rectified with installment payments. Despite being understanding of mistakes, I was concerned about the large charge and wanted to ensure the situation was resolved. After three days had passed, I still hadn't received any refund. In an attempt to reach out and seek clarification, I sent Estella three emails. On November 21st, I called her again, but she apologized for not having the time to respond to my emails. She assured me that my money had been processed for refund a few days ago and would take up to three days to be returned to my credit card. Trusting her words, I patiently waited for the refund to come through. On November 28th, as I still hadn't received any refund, I emailed Estella again. Unfortunately, she didn't reply, so I called her, requesting a call back after 1 pm. Much to my disappointment, she never called me back. When I tried to reach her directly, she did not answer. Consequently, I decided to contact the customer support line and requested to speak with a manager or supervisor. To my dismay, Sasha Pobereznic, the manager/supervisor, answered my call but displayed a complete lack of empathy or apology. In fact, he was sarcastic and aggressive during our conversation, until I expressed my dissatisfaction with his conduct. During this phone call, I discovered that despite my earlier conversations with Estella, Appliances Online had mistakenly delivered the fridge to my future house in WA, while I reside in NSW. This mix-up caused a significant inconvenience as I had to track down and inform the individual residing there about the delivery error. I proposed to Sasha that they leave the fridge at the property as at the end of the day I will be moving there until my refund was processed, at which point they could arrange payment via PayPal. Considering the circumstances and the mistreatment I had already endured, I also asked for an additional discount. However, Sasha rudely dismissed my request and insisted on collecting the fridge before refunding my money, claiming it would take a maximum of 2 to 3 days. Today, December 4th, I am still awaiting my refund. Appliances Online has collected the fridge from my future address I. WA, but I have yet to receive any reimbursement. Yesterday, on December 3rd, I emailed Sasha once again to seek clarification, and he assured me that I would receive my money by the end of the day. Unfortunately, no refund has materialized. The distress and financial impact caused by this ongoing issue are difficult to put into words. At this point, I cannot recommend anyone to make a purchase from Appliances online at ALL! Kind regards Andre V.

This company USED to have good prices and excellent service, but no more... I spoke to the salesperson on the phone on Monday to price match. I was told they can't do next day delivery but Wednesday is fine. My order was processed and payment made. Wednesday morning, a bit suspicious that I didn't get my usual sms from their dispatch around 6am with delivery timeframe, I follow up with the phone call, to be told that delivery should be happening A MONTH from now as not all of the items are in stock. They were surprised that I was promised this delivery in the first place as it is quite evident that those items are on backorder. I have cancelled my order and hope there won't be any issues with the refund.

I ordered a vacuum and unfortunately missed the delivery for it. I called up to reorganise the delivery and was told that I can rebook it for the following Saturday and change the address and he said this was fine and that he rebooked it. The Saturday it was supposed to be delivered it wasn't so I called again and asked what had happened. The girl (who was amazingly helpful) said that there was never any changes made or anything booked in from my last phone call and that there was actually a cost for Saturday delivery. I was happy to pay this cost, despite being told it was already booked in last time. This was processed to be delivered the next Saturday. On the Thursday before delivery, I missed a call and received a text saying there was a delay to my order and to call back. I called back and was told that there were no notes on my file and that my delivery was still scheduled for that Saturday. The Saturday came and no delivery, so I called up for a refund because I couldn't wait 3 weeks for a vacuum and was told my refund would be processed. 4 days after this I got an email saying my vacuum would be delivered on the Saturday. On the Saturday morning I got a text saying a delivery window so I called up and said I hadn't received my refund and that vacuum was still coming, the girl processed the refund for me (which finally actually happened) and then said she called the delivery person to make sure the vacuum wouldn't be delivered. The vacuum still was attempted to be delivered. I have never bought off a company that got so many things wrong at every step of the way.

Avoid at all costs. 2023, ordered a stove online. 2 days before expected delivery called to say they are out if stock. Will be another month. I emailed back 2 weeks later, they still didn't have stock couldn't tell me when it'll be in. 3 emails over 2 week and they wouldn't reply. I called now 5 weeks after the order, still didn't have stock and will be another month. Horrible customer service horrible experience. I've now been 6 weeks without a cook top, and only now are going to refund my order. Avoid this company

Caught them out lying, moved onto “supervisor”, Told to that they could not redeliver until l provided my mobile number. Asked why they required my private mobile number. Crickets…….. cancelled order and requested refund. Not worth the hassle.
