Once good company turned bad. Waited weeks for delivery. Shocking experience dealing with constant blatant lies from office staff. Will never buy from them again.

I bought a small bar fridge for $1200, which I thought was not cheap. The fridge constantly pools water from the glass door. Contacted Appliance and asked if I could replace with a fridge that has a heated door to stop the issue. Was told that that is outside there buying guide. Very disappointed on the response as the they said the humidity is over 70% but where the fridge is the humidity is definitely not that high.

Appliances Online sold us a LG washing machine a few days before Christmas. They said they would deliver and install the new machine, as well as take away the old one. They duly delivered the new machine and we thought they had installed the new machine properly. Instead of tightening the hoses, the installer had just connected them a few turns. He did not test the machine. On using the machine for the first on Christmas eve, we found the hoses had leaked flooding our laundry and soaking the carpet of the adjoining room. We contacted what they laughingly called customer service and spoke to Gerdie, and told him what had happened. They apologised at first and asked for a photo of the damage with a view to compensation. They have just plain ignored us ever since. Their attitude is disgusting. They just hope you just go away, well they thought wrong this time.

Appliances Online sold me a TV on Monday 17/01/22 that was to be delivered on Friday 21/01/22. They rang me on Wednesday 19/01/22 and told me they would not have the TV ready for delivery until late February. I asked why their website said it could be delivered on Friday. They told me it must be an error. I went and checked their website and they were still showing the TV could be delivered in January. I told them this and they informed me it must be an error. I asked Appliances Online to send me an email explaining what happened. They said they would and sent me another invoice. They then tried to switch me to buying another TV. It is misleading and deceptive for Appliances Online to pretend they have stock and then try and switch you to another product. Terrible customer service, terrible business to deal with.

I placed an order 8 weeks ago on the 23rd of October 2021 for a dryer to be delivered to my property on October 26th. On the 25th of October I received a txt message that a delivery driver would issue a 2 hour delivery window on the booked day of delivery. No further contact was made. I was present at the property for the full day of the expected delivery that did not occur. I waited more than a reasonable time to hear from your team and no contact was made. I contacted at the beginning of December to follow up on the order that I placed, and paid in full for to be told by a customer service representative that due to the time of night of my call nothing could be done and that someone would be in touch with me again to follow up. Again, no contact was made. I followed up on my call and spoke to a team leader earlier this week and was advised that the dryer I bought had been sold and no other of the type were available. The Team leader agreed to have the product upgraded to closest of the sort that I initially purchased and to have the product delivered on Saturday 18th December. The window of time the delivery was to occur, I do not believe the product presented at my property, I was home at the time and no delivery conditions were met as set out on appliances online website. Under Delivery section 4.6 a) & b) If neither you nor your authorised representative is at the delivery address to take delivery, our driver will leave a notice in your letterbox or under your front door, advising you of our contact details so that you can contact us to organise another delivery day; however I personally was at the delivery address at the time of the delivery window there was no attempt to knock on my door nor was a notice left as stated in the terms of delivery. I am lead to believe that the driver did not attend my address as I was not alerted to their presence and no evidence was left at my premises to suggest the delivery attempt even occurred. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of service that has been provided and the amount of my own time it has wasted. I am a full time employed single mother that can not afford to take time from work to suit the delivery schedule that has been suggested & I am appalled by being told that I need to be accountable for what has occurred by the customer service staff that I spoke with this morning when the product again has not been delivered. Both times the product has been scheduled for delivery I have put my life on hold to wait for a product I purchased that continues to fail to be delivered. This is not an acceptable transaction or level of service. I will be seeking legal advice and consulting ACCC. More disgusted by the service as no one listens, rude staff, lying horrible people. Worst shopping ordeal I have ever experienced and like nearly every other review I’ve read is like reliving what happened to me. Just not acceptable as a paying customer. I can’t express enough my disappointment in the way I’ve been spoke to and treated. After my 5th contact I was actually left in tears, and finally spoke to someone decent that did take time and listen but unfortunately I already knew that he would not be able to help as i had already done the rounds with team leaders/managers that were not understanding or accommodating to the frustration with faults in their own internal processes and not willing to take constructive feedback on board. Beyond disappointed. I just have no words!

I echo all the other bad reviews- terrible company. No one seems to know what they are doing there, time and time again, deliveries and orders were stuffed up. Not sure what’s going on but it’s been the worst shopping experience of my life.

My washing machine was supposed to arrive 29th November. I organised to leave work to get it but it came earlier than they said and I missed it. The man I spoke to TOLD me it would come today (the 6th December - so much for “next day deliveries). It was not even written in any warehouse manual or anything when I rang. I took the day off costing me $200 so the same thing didn’t happen again. They said the “best” they can do is try next Monday. Again - When i am at work! Even though the last man straight up lied to me that he was putting it in the system that it would arrive today. I will never ever ever shop here again.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Look elsewhere 2nd time purchaser & should have known better. Could not organise a chook raffle always someone else's fault(Supplier wah wah) the day before delivery oh sorry can't deliver doesn't matter that I took a day off! They admitted that they knew several days ago but contacted me late the night before & left a message. Replacement given yet to be delivered so will see what & if it comes? 1st time they delivered the wrong stove, which was wrong model & colour(found after un boxing) & had to come & remove & replace with correct one.

Absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever received purchasing anything online! Ordered a fridge from them (approx $2,000) and gave them several days of notice for the delivery day, so that I could organise time off work and so they could plan that into their schedule. Delivery date was for Friday, 26 Nov. I had taken the day off work and waited for the delivery. The whole day and evening went by and no sign of delivery. I got an SMS from someone at night saying they cant make it cant was trying to get me to reschedule and take another day off the following week. After speaking to this person, they eventually agreed that delivery would be the followjng day Saturday between 10am-12. A lot of our food went bad and I wasted a day off work waiting for them. Again I took the day off work for another day for Saturday. On the Saturday, no sign of delivery by midday. I SMSed the guy repeatedly, and no replies. Eventually I called their customer support. Customer support tries to call the driver and apparently no sign of the driver or my deliveries. They again tried to get me to reschedule for next week. After I mentioned how unprofessional this has been, a manager spoke to me and said the best they can do is reschedule AGAIN for Sunday. Apparently the driver has gone missing so they cant deliver today. They refused to give me a delivery window or time, so that I could plan my day better. I would only get an SMS from them at 11AM with a possible delivery window. Basically this means with every missed delivery day, I now have to sit around for 3 full days waiting for these guys to deliver, without any guarantee or indication of time in advance. When I highlighted this to the manager, they said in a rude tone "that's all we can do, we can just refund you if you don't want tomorrow's delivery". At this point they have wasted 2-3 days of my time, taken my money, been rude and evasive with delivery times, and still not delivered my fridge. Absolutely cannot recommend this company. I would give them 0 stars if that was possible.

The initial consultation/purchase with Appliances Online was pleasurable; however, it went downhill after that. I never received my order due to an employee putting the wrong details in the system. When we discovered the problem and tried to fix it, the staff were very ambiguous with their answers and unapologetic. My product was meant to be delivered the next day. I changed my plans and waited the whole day at home, only to discover they never re-scheduled it, even though they had informed me this was the case. I am currently waiting on my refund. Do not do business with this company! They will leave you feeling frustrated and unappreciated!

The product purchased was great, the service from appliances online was very poor. Multiple follow ups, lack of response, after several phone calls they directed me to a third party, who then referred me back to Appliances online. I won’t be using them again! After a week of waiting 2 emails to support that were not even responded too, 4 phone calls, they finally sorted out the issue. The cheap price wasn’t worth the time I wasted following them up!

Donot buy one of terrible company in Australia. Bought Samsung speaker and speaker stopped working after two months. Now i m fighting for refund from last two month. People donot waste your money here .

DON'T buy from this company I've bought 4 items & 3 had to be repaired after only a few months. Returned a vacuum cleaner got replacement had to return it asked for a refund & because this mob lost the first one i returned they tried to keep my refund claiming it was somehow my fault that they lost the first one 4 months earlier i only got my refund after 5 weeks of continuous harassment.

Made an online purchase 24/10/21. Advised would be delivered 01/11. Received txt 29/10 delivery would be delayed, they would be in contact WITHIN 3 days re new delivery date. Received email 02/11, new delivery date 09/12/2021.. NO APOLOGY WTF?? Rang asking for REFUND, all the excuses under the Sun.. Will take till 09/11/2021 as accounts are done Tuesdays?... STAY AWAY FROM THESE AMATEURS...

Been trying to contact for over a week. Phone is always busy. Leave a message and no one returns. Done that 4 times now Sent 3 e-mails to customer service. No response. Still waiting 8 days now.Have been great in the past but never come across this before with any company.. Very very dissapointed especially now you keep raving how great you are

Terrible service, ordered a washing machine 2 weeks ago (earliest delivery) and they call me today on day of delivery to tell me this product is not available until next year!! They only had two other brands as an alternative to chose from which I’m not interested in, I’m now without a washing machine for a few more weeks until my refund can be processed and I can buy another one elsewhere! Previous fridge we ordered 2 months ago turned up damaged (huge dent in top at the back), they only offered me %5 discount which I accepted only because I couldn’t be bothered with all the fuss of exchanging for a new fridge. Wont ever be using this company again.

I thought I had adequately reviewed this company, I have since seen many negative reviews unfortunately. I rang the company before I made the purchase and the saleslady Ruby promised quick delivery after she put me on hold, and spoke to her Manager for supposed confirmation of an earlier delivery date. The problem was the website said delivery, and set up ,could not be done till October 7. The item is for an expensive, but I thought quality, exercise bike. She suggested that if I made immediate payment, forwarded her the receipt, a confirmation email would be sent by her, and she would then ensure delivery in the next few days as it was in stock nearby. Nothing has since been communicated to me or delivered despite being informed I would immediately be emailed or contacted about an earlier date. They obviously lied to obtain my money at an y cost, and have not responded to phone calls or emails, so I am now waiting for eventual delivery. The probability is the item will arrive as we reopen gyms anyway! Can't believe I was so gullible thinking that companies would be helpful in this Covid crisis, when we are all concerned with maintaining our health and finances. Just to make a buck! I am a nurse who trusts and care for others every day, believing people to be reliable. What a joke! I will let you know about the outcome but it does not look like it will be soon.
