“Hand sanitizer has horrible smell, even though is scent free. My hands got over dry, almost like burned after using the hand sanitizer. After washing my hand with my usual soap, I still smelt their product. Contact their customer support via email and never heard back. Zero stars. Terrible product!”
“I've had the usual long wait times to receive my order, but when it finally arrived and I tried it, the smell almost made me gag. The label indicates "scent-free", but it has a distinct odor of petroleum-based product, reminiscent of very mild diesel fuel. My wife agrees. I have a strong feeling this product was not manufactured in the US and with inferior and possibly tainted ingredients. I'm attempting to contact the company to return and get a refund, but no luck in getting through.”
“I too have had a similar experience with artnaturals. Received hand sanitizer in the past form them and it was fine. Ordered again (stupid) and after being charged before shipping as we all have been, getting a tracking # with no movement for weeks. I filed a dispute with my credit charge company and amazingly it shipped. Received a large, very expensive order of foul smelling, gasoline like smell, super thick, disgusting liquid. Bottles were broken and leaking in the boxes. I got nauseous and lightheaded just smelling this stuff. Needed it for our truck drivers and there is no way I would give them this stuff to use. I noticed that they have totally changed their list of ingredients on some of their bottles but not on their website. False advertising!! Who knows what is in this stuff now. I hope they are shut down. Horrible to scam people when they really need these products at this time. No response from emails, phone message box full. Working on refund. Please be careful going forward.”

“Very similar experience to others. I placed 2 orders a month ago for soap and hand sanitizer. It said in stock and will ship in 48 hours. The soap arrived in a few days but the hand sanitizer never did. The tracking numbers show the full order delivered, but even the packing slip inside the box listed soap only. It seems like they are woefully behind on getting any hand sanitizer made or shipped. I've inquired numerous times via email and tried to call. I will just challenge payment through my credit card company.”

“I ordered two bottles of hand sanitizer in March. I received them promptly and product was of good quality. I ordered a gallon the first week of April. I received a UPS tracking number. Of course, just like everyone else. Product has not been received by UPS so therefore product has not been shipped to me. They have not responded to any of my many emails and also of course you cannot reach anyone by phone. I want a refund of my money and will be contacting my credit card company.”

“I purchased some hand sanitizes recently from Art Naturals and the hand sanitizers are awful. All the product that I received has a bad aroma, which made me feel nauseous and lightheaded after use. The product feels and smells like gasoline when applied on the hand. I don't believe that this product is FDA approved. I purchase a lot of these sanitizes because I wanted to share them my sick and disabled patients and their caregivers during this pandemic. ArtNaturals (Virgin Scent INC out of Gardena CA) provided me with a DHL tracking number to a package that does not exist. I have tried numerous times to contact them through third party retailer, email, phone and Facebook. I am either met with silence or chat bot replies. They have done this same thing to hundreds of people so far. No one has received a refund of their money paid either. This company is stealing.”
“In support of ‘Bob’ and others who have FINALLY received their hand sanitizer, only to find it to be VERY suspicious in nature, here is my supporting summary of this nightmare of an experience in ordering from ArtNaturals:
Like many, this has the been the single most negative, frustrating, energy consuming online shopping experience I have ever had… and I have been shopping online for personal & business needs daily for years! I ordered the product (1 gallon UNSCENTED hand sanitizer) on 04/06/2020 BECAUSE of the promise by ArtNaturals to ship this IN STOCK item within 48 hours. My credit card was charged the next day (2 days before being notified by ArtNaturals that the item had shipped. ) They created a label via UPS, which automatically creates a tracking number and sets an estimated delivery date. The seller must then SCHEDULE PICKUP by UPS. They did not do this. So it LOOKS like progress and you expect delivery. But then you see NO MOVEMENT of your package. You will find countless people experiencing the same (and worse) who are reporting this company to the Attorney General, BBB, FTC, UPS, POLICE, etc...
After MANY attempts to receive an email response from ArtNaturals (they are responding to NO one and their OUTDATED, outgoing message on their phone system tells you to email them) I began action for a full refund. SUDDENLY the item shipped (weeks late.) So I was ready to forget about all this when the product arrived today...until I opened the container. This 'unscented' product has a FOUL ODOR... JUST HORRIBLE... and no detectable alcohol smell. I KNOW hand sanitizers. I worked for hospitals for 25 years!! I am still a health care provider. I now see similar reports about this odor in other reviews… and other reports about product content that seem to be of a suspicious nature. I have washed my hands twice and still smell the odor. I cannot/will not trust this on my body. If I had the time & money, I would have it evaluated by a lab. I AM SEEKING A FULL REFUND AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, I WANT THIS COMPANY TO BE INVESTIGATED.... AS DO MANY OTHERS!!!
The Better Business Bureau now has a consumer alert attached to this company’s name. Please believe it. I have never taken the time to write a negative review… ever. I am taking the time now to save others from experiencing more frustration than we are already enduring with this pandemic. This seems to be a company that used to be a good one. I cannot account for their current status. They are not communicating back to desperate customers, which is an absolute first in my experience. At first I thought my situation was an innocent oversight…until I saw all of the other buyers reporting my exact experience and worse. Until just recently, they CONTINUED to sell product and continued to promise shipment within 48 hours, while demonstrating no efforts to staff up for the purpose of answering the phone (for over a month now) or reply to emails. They are still selling, when they cannot keep up with their customer issues. This is unethical.”
