ASOS has terrible customer service and practices. 3 strikes they’re out: 1st order - never received. 2nd order - ASOS sent WRONG item. 3rd order - item missing. Their customer service chat is incredibly slow, takes 30+ minutes to be told wait and see. Then I have to get on chat again to finally make them take action to deal with the order issues. They don’t apologize or do anything to make it right, so be prepared to be out time on lengthy chats and returning incorrect items. I will never shop here again.

Do not order from asos. I ordered trainers never received them and have never received a refund. They have lied every single time from saying the order never happened and blocked my account. Scam scam scam.

BE AWARE OF SCAMS. Asos confirmed my order (more than 100 pounds) and never sent the order. They lied on their website as the package is written as "sent", but it was not. They NEVER informed about any delay or issue on the delivery. When I checked 1 month after, I saw the package was "sent" but on the transporter website it is written that they NEVER received a parcel from ASOS. They would have never said that to me and just keep my money.

Worst service with return! I understand they have a 14 day window, and I was applying on the day 16 due to enormous weather conditions in the Netherlands and they couldn’t make the exception

Utterly shambolic response from customer services. Sent back faulty item along with photos illustrating the problem (t-shirt shrank the first time it was washed). They rejected the return because it was outside their 30 days return window. Customer services utterly hopeless in sorting the situation out. Seriously, spend your money elsewhere

I’ve been using ASOS for over four years, and somehow their customer service has managed to evolve into its worst possible form. If you run into a problem, you’re better off talking to a wall; at least it won’t pretend to help you. What you actually get is a poorly trained chatbot that copy-pastes the information, which is exactly why you’re contacting them in the first place. I’ve never written a review before, but consider this a public service announcement: don’t waste your time contacting ASOS support. Just cross your fingers and hope nothing goes wrong with your order. And honestly, after these experiences, I’m not even sure I’ll keep shopping with them.

They scammed me into taking back a product I returned, claiming it is damaged. I only wore it once to try it on, and then I returned it. Don't buy at Asos!

The team was clear, quick to respond, and really helpful the whole time. They guided me through each step, which made a tough situation much easier. I really appreciated their honesty and how open they were with communication. I'd suggest them to anyone who wants reliable help

Worst customer service ever. They were not able to fix my problem, and I had to speak with four different agents, explaining the same thing over and over again! Even the manager, Adity, was unable to help and closed the chat without giving me a chance to reply, simply because she didn’t know how to answer me. How rude! When I tried to speak with another manager, the chat was closed again, it must have been the same manager.

The return window was exceeded by only 24 hours and ASOS refused to show any flexibility for a loyal customer. They refused to receive the return. While trying to engage with the agents to resolve the issue, the agent abruptly ended the chat without resolving the issue. This was dismissive. ASOS should appreciate customers who have placed many orders in the past and demonstrate flexibility where possible. I won't be purchasing with ASOS ever again and will spend my money with retailers that appreciate the business.

I’ve never dealt with a company as incompetent and dismissive as ASOS. I paid for next day delivery—they shipped the item two days late. The delivery was routed to an InPost locker that was malfunctioning, and ASOS falsely claimed they’d contact InPost to resolve it. That never happened. When I followed up, I was told the chat was closed because it wasn’t a “new query.” I spoke to someone named Mia who was shockingly rude and unprofessional. No help, no accountability, just deflection and attitude. I’ve saved all the chats and proof from InPost, who actually tried to help. ASOS? They did nothing. Their business model is broken, their customer service is a joke, and their refund process is deliberately slow—I’m now waiting 10 days just to get my money back, after which I’ll initiate a chargeback. If you value your time, money, or sanity, do not shop at ASOS. You’ll regret it.

Zeer onbetrouwbare partij. Aanvallende communicatie. Moeilijk te bereiken. Komen beloftes niet na. Als je dit netjes benoemt per mail (je kunt niet bellen) dan snijden zij alle communicatiekanalen af en deleten je account met de mededeling dat je je als klant schuldig maakt aan verdachte activiteiten. Gelukkig heb ik via Klarna gekocht en helpen zij bemiddelen. Niet met Asos in zee gaan. De site werkt goed en bestellen werkt klantvriendelijk. Daar houdt het op.

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience with ASOS customer service. I returned items slightly outside the return window due to an extremely difficult time — involving a close family member being diagnosed with a brain tumour and my own mental health struggles. I explained this clearly and respectfully, and asked if they might consider a gesture of goodwill or even store credit. ASOS’s own returns policy states that they may accept late returns in some cases and issue a gift voucher — yet even in these clearly exceptional circumstances, they flatly refused. I understand policies exist for a reason, but compassion and human decency should count for something. Sadly, I didn’t see any of that in this experience. After years of shopping with ASOS, I expected better.

ASOS offers a wide selection of clothing, and delivery is typically prompt. However, returns take a long time to process, and sizing can be inconsistent. Even though I still occasionally shop here, it's not as easy as it once was.

Customer Service and Size Guides I recently made a purchase from ASOS and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. The size guide provided was quite misleading, which resulted in items that didn’t fit as expected. I reached out to customer service and spent over three days trying to get help, but the responses I received felt dismissive and unhelpful. Despite raising a valid concern about the sizing chart, I was repeatedly told it was correct without any effort to genuinely address the issue. If you're planning to order from ASOS, I’d recommend double-checking sizing very carefully. I personally no longer feel confident in relying on their size guide. This experience has made me hesitant to shop for clothing from ASOS again.

I am extremely disappointed with both the customer service and the overall quality of clothing I’ve received from ASOS. I recently attempted to return an item outside of the return window (still within 30 days of receiving the item), understanding that special circumstances should be taken into account. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to consider customer satisfaction, but ASOS refused to honor my return despite the situation being explained. What’s worse is the clothes themselves are of extremely poor quality. The fabrics are cheap, the stitching is poorly done, and the overall durability is lacking. It’s clear that the company cares little about the products they sell or the customers they serve. Because of this experience, I will never shop with ASOS again. It's frustrating to spend your hard-earned money on such low-quality products only to be met with terrible customer service when trying to resolve issues. I truly regret ever making a purchase from ASOS and hope others avoid this headache in the future.
