Bought an electronic drumset from guitar center with a protection warranty. It stopped working so I had to deal with Asurion, unfortunately. Had to buy $50 worth of boxes tape and bubble wrap, and take down the whole drumset, and box it. Then I had to maneuver the 200 pound plus box out of my house, into my car, drive 10 miles down the road and shipped it off to the repair center. After waiting a few weeks I then had to maneuver the giant box back into my car, then back into my home. The drumset was deconstructed down to the last nut and bolt, completely, without a manuel. Took me 4 hours to put back together.. and guess what.. it still doesn’t work! Rather than giving me my money back or any compensation they rather I repeat the entire process! Absolutely ridiculous. They want me to go through all that again for what? I don’t even know if my set will be repaired, they already proved they are capable of not fixing it and sending it back. I told them no deal, Il take the loss. Never dealing with asurion again, THE WORST COMPANY EVER. Don’t ever do business with them. And as a life long drummer I will NEVER shop at guitar center ever again. Negative 5 stars out of 5 stars

My lost phone was a Samsung galaxy Z FOLD 4 1Tb unlocked, bought on Samsung online shop. after filled a claim on 4/14/2024, I received my replacement on 5/4/2024 and I had to paid $275 and I received the same make and model, but locked and only 512 GB of storage. I called Asurion, they ask me to call AT&T, what I did and the disrespectful agent on the line told me that I have to wait for 60 days and be sure to use the phone with AT&T during that time before I could be able to unlocked the phone. So I have to be stock here with them before move to an other carrier. I will never recommend Asurion to a friend or any one else. Asurion is the worst insurance company. I recommend the Samsung Care+, Apple Care BestBuy Insurance or any other insurance company but please, avoid Asurion.

Have been working with these people for 3 months now, trying to get a repair/replacement for a TV that quit working after 1 year. I've made 7 phone calls and sent all requested paperwork trying to resolve this issue. Got an email on 4-18-24 saying the check will be mailed within 10 business days. It's now May 7, 2024 and still no check. Contacted them this morning and the request is still being processed. Never again will I buy a warranty from this company.

Have Home+ and have paid for it since 2020. Sent a laptop in for repair and I thought it didn't turn on. I tripped over the cord and it fell to the floor. I couldn't see the screen was broken, which was fixed under the Home+ and the laptop was sent back to me. Upon return, the laptop keyboard didn't work, so I called and they emailed a tag to send it back. This is where the problem occurs. I received the laptop back saying, "Unauthorized Repair Attempted." I call and they say there was an attempted repair on the keyboard where there was some tape or something. I was so furious, I have forgotten what they said. But, the only people to open this laptop was THEM. They seem to insinuate that I got the machine back, opened the laptop and did something to the keyboard in a total of a couple hours. I ask, WHY would I do this if I just got done paying $100 to have it fixed and I could get any issue resolved under that. What really occurred is that THEIR initial technician broke it and tried to cover up the problem. Odd that the FIRST technician didn't find this "repair attempt" AND he replaced the screen! So he was inside the laptop and should have noticed this issue if it existed a that time. Talk about poor service. I pay for a service, send in a machine that was clearly dropped and fits the scenario for this repair. Tech 1 fixes the screen and breaks something and now the claim is denied by Tech 2. I spoke to a Supervisor named Shawn (Sean) and he didn't even consider anything other than they said, the second technician said it was me. I would have had to do it between repair #1 and repair #2, which was a max of ONE DAY. Plus, again, WHY would I do this? It makes no sense. Anyway, my claim was denied because their staff broke a $2000 laptop and didn't want to get in to trouble, so he doctored some repair and it failed. Now, I'm blamed for his lack of knowledge on the repair.

I walked into a uBreakiFix store at Dublin, CA to get my tablet and printer repaired. The store agent told me to take an Asurion plan, wait for 30 days, and then submit a claim for them to get fixed, and that it would cost me only $99 per device when claims are approved. In return, I should have a $25/month subscription. It sounded reasonable as the devices would have cost me much more to repaie otherwise, and I did just that: I signed up on Mar 3rd with Asurion, waited until April, and then filed my claims. For the past 2 weeks, I have had numerous responses from claims team asking me to put pictures in one way or another, resubmit forms with different corrections, reopen different claims for the same, etc. I have had to call Customer service multiple times to understand what exactly is needed so I can do it exactly as they need instead of the constant run around. couple days ago, I requested for an escalation and a supervisor then worked with me to ensure everything checked out well and it got submitted. I was assured the tablet claim would be approved this time, only to find out a day later it was asking for documentation to be resubmitted yet again. I had enough of this and called customer service yesterday to put me in touch with the claims department directly, and the claims person now says, "Well, you had devices that were already broken BEFORE you signed up for the Asurion plan, and so per policy, the claims will be rejected.". While I totally understand the rationale, did I have to go through this hell for almost 2 months with 2 store visits, 4 customer calls (each 50+ mins longer), hours of taking photos, downloading pics, forms, digitally signing it, making copies, and 2 months of premium deduction before I was told this. I mean, I didn't go to the store for an insurance plan, even just to get my devices fixed. In the process, I learned Asurion doesn't fix printers but only reimburses them and my printer is still sitting at the local store since they asked me to leave it there and come after the claim is approved. I cannot believe how bad this whole setup is—local store, agent knowledge, poor communication from claim notification, poor triage of issues, etc. The only positive thing in the whole experience is that the Customer representatives I spoke to at Asurion, including the supervisor and Claim agent, were all extremely sympathetic and friendly and treated me with respect. But sadly, they don't deserve my business, so I requested for my plan to be canceled, and I am told I will be refunded whatever has been charged—how much I get, time will tell. I am grateful; I did not fall for the upsell to purchase their next level plan that included all home appliances, etc.

I did a claim on a galaxy phone that had a cracked screen. I paid the deductible and they sent me a replacement phone. I sent the damaged phone back in the packaging they sent the day after I received the replacement. The next week I got a letter from Asurion saying they had not received my phone and if they didn't receive it I would have to pay 300.00. The return packaging was through the USPS and they didn't allow enough time to receive it, so I ignored that letter. I got another letter saying the same thing,so I decided to call. Elizabeth told me that she found the phone and the letter and the phone past in the mail. Later on that month Asurion took 300.00 out of my checking account and will not return it. I have talked to several people there and also Verizon and they still have my money. I've been with Verizon for almost 6 years.

Ridiculous, my phone is supposed to come today but the guy's car broke down, no problem I guess but now I'll have to wait two days? What happened to tomorrow? Can no one bring it then? Why do I have to wait till the 3rd? And the operator will try to singe you up for something after you tell them no you pretty much have to yell so it will be on the recoding if you don't want it

Absolutely a joke of a company. We pay $14 to Verizon each month for Asurion. My Moto Stylus screen cracked so I filed a claim with Asurion. They told me that they couldn't replace my screen (this is why we pay for this service) and that I would have to buy a refurbished phone for a $99 deductible... What????? I just wanted my screen replaced for free, the reason we pay $14 per month. What a joke. Do not use this company!!!

Terrible customer service. Keep calling back and telling them my mother is on her honeymoon and we cannot reach her. I have all the information about the account and I am daughter and we already have a case, yet made me seriously angry. When we are paying them, they are not willing to hear us at all. Terrible. Horrible.

Have been paying for insurance for over a year at $50 per month. Never did I have to use the service, but the time I needed to use it Asurion failed to their part. Worst money ever spent, I spent $220 out of pocket to get the phone fixed plus $50 per month for a year. I would not recommend this trash.

Beware of Asurion! This company is notorious for not honoring its warranty obligations and engaging in various fraudulent practices including warranty fraud, racketeering, and both mail and wire fraud. They're also accused of posting fake positive reviews online to mislead potential customers. I experienced their poor service firsthand with my $18,000 KitchenAid refrigerator. Despite paying for the Asurion Appliance Plus plan, getting it repaired was an ordeal. The trouble began in July 2023 when my fridge malfunctioned. A technician was dispatched, noted that parts were needed, and promised to return with parts to fix the appliance. What ensued was seven months of false promises about ordered parts, accompanied by attempts to push buyouts/payouts ranging from $1,070 to $10,000, instead of repairs. These offers were never honored. Exasperated, I filed a small claims court case and they were served. Remarkably, three days after, Asurion finally ordered the parts. However, when the technician returned, he said Asurion ordered the wrong parts, did not perform any repairs, and damaged my hardwood floor, then disappeared. During court proceedings, Asurion ignored a subpoena and their method for valuing appliances remained questionable, with erratic buyout offers. The judge highlighted the availability of parts and questioned why repairs weren’t made. Ultimately, the court ruled in my favor, mandating Asurion to pay a significant sum, including interest and legal fees. Despite this, Asurion has disregarded the judgment and continued to manipulate their customer portal and falsely indicating issues with my payment method which my credit card company confirmed there was nothing wrong with the payment method. The Asurion case underscores their disregard for customer rights, terms and conditions, and legal obligations. If you’re dealing with Asurion, assert your rights and consider small claims to pursue justice. Their consistent poor service and evasion tactics show a deep disrespect for customers and the legal system.

I put in a claim for my Dell Printer. I ended up filing 4 claims for the same printer, same problem. The first time I received an email stating that the contact information did not match. I called and was told that my address was not matching. They did not have the word "drive" for my email. Because of that, they closed that claim and reopened another claim with a new number. I had to resubmit everything again. This time they sent another email stating the contact information did not match again. I called and told them that my address had been updated in their system and was told that the picture of my license was blurry and could not be used. They closed that claim and reopened another one. I completed my claim on my phone. I told them that when taking the pictures, the website would not accept any that were blurry, not complete, etc. The website would state why it was not useable. I would retake the pictures until they were accepted. The person I spoke with had nothing to say about that. At this point I was getting very angry. He told me to resubmit my information and call them right after. He assured me someone would look at the claim right away. I resubmitted the claim, again, and called. The person I spoke with said my driver's license was blurry. I told her that the website accepted the pics. At this point I said that I feel like they purposely make it hard so that a person will just give up and then they can keep any money they have made. I then told the person I wanted to close my account. They transferred me to that office. The lady I spoke with put me on hold after I told her that I wanted to close my account. The call eventually dropped. I called back and had to tell another person I wanted to close the account. That person told me that my account had been closed. I told them that the first person did not tell me that. This whole experience was very frustrating.

Asurion has an incredible scam game plan. I keep calling their Customer Service, reps politely take the information, then transfer the call to their “claim experts” where call gets disconnected, EVERY TIME!!!

I'm honestly convinced that this service is a scam. I have been trying to complete a claim for my phone for over two weeks now, and I am beyond frustrated. After being on hold for hours and hours and constantly communicating with the representatives, they finally said that my replacement device was out for delivery. OF COURSE, once the device was in my city (according to UPS tracking system), there was a "return to sender request" for no explained reason. I called Asurion and they stated that their system automatically canceled my claim, when I persisted in asking why this occurred, they could give me no answer. So, here we are again, filing yet another claim that I'm sure will result similarly. I pay so much money for this insurance system, and I regret not investing in some other form of insurance besides Asurion. THEY ARE SO UNHELPFUL, INEFFICIENT, AND INCOMPETENT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Buy AppleCare or insurance through BestBuy or something instead. I cannot express enough how much this company wastes your time and money.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!! And from the looks of it, I got off easy compared to those that had phone "insurance" through them. I got an Asurion "protection" plan at Staples for my Epson ET-4850 printer. Side note-Don't EVER buy an Ecotank printer. They make very poor prints, and every tanks' color will be permanently clogged if you don't constantly use it. So, a little after a year of owning it, the printer's tanks' pegs are clogged. I sent it off to Asurion after chatting in circles with a robot for about 45 minutes. They sent it back the same as it ever was, completely useless and clogged. They had a form attached to it that said it was unclogged and that they did a print test, which is impossible because it will not print!!! So yeah, they're not afraid to flat out LIE to us. Does anybody else wanna do a Class Action Suit with me?!!
