“I purchased a large sheet of chipboard at Bishopbriggs B and Q and had spent at least 30 minutes attempting to strap the board to my roof rack but as this was my first attempt at using ratchets I was obviously having difficulty and was asked if I needed help by a guy who had just arrived for his B and Q shift. He told me that your first attempt at using these ratchets can be a problem. He used his to secure his bikes to his car. This was a very thoughtful way of making me feel I wasn't as big a numpty as I felt. Great stuff. He then showed me how to properly feed straps through ratchets and secured the wood sheet to my roof rack. Excellent service. I thanked him but he said that was what they were there for. It was a great relief to get this help. He took time out before starting his shift at about 5pm to help me. I did not get his name but he was driving a black Vauxhall 08 vectra? If you know the guy then please pass on my repeated thanks and gratitude. Deserves a bonus from b and q for going out of his way to help me as I was really stressed out. Thanks mate. “I have visited the Merthyr Tydfil store twice recently and on both occasions have spoken to Rebecca. This young lady is approachable and extremely helpful. I have been trying to find work tops and wall tiles for my kitchen and she showed me all the new stock that had come in and offered advice on current styles. She also showed me the range of sealants available and couldn’t have been more helpful. This young lady is a credit to B&Q. I would like this review to be brought to the attention of the management at the Merthyr Tydfil store.”

“We made several trips to B&Q in Leatherhead to buy fencing products in the Neva range. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive and pulled out all the stops for us. Some of what we needed was not available in Leatherhead but they arranged everything for us to collect items from Sutton. In particular, Karen in the Leatherhead store was such an encouragement, so cheerful and nothing was a problem she could not overcome. The lady is a treasure and a credit to B&Q; take care of her! We wanted some Anabar fire pits which were not stocked in Leatherhead. Karen had three (from Guildford) ready for us to collect the following morning from Leatherhead store. Great service! Thank you Karen for going the extra mile.”

“Bought a shed at B&Q in Leeds the shed was delivered and installed I had trouble with it and went back to B&Q and spoke to a manager called Robert he did everything he could to sort this out and I'm very happy for what he has done for me I cannot fault the staff at this branch as they go all out to resolve your problem if I could give more stars I would give them 10 out of 10 and my friends are happy with this store as well”

“Went to Wisbech store today to order fence panelling and posts and me and my husband were helped by an excellent lad called Lee-Jay who helped us size everything, stack the trolley then load it onto the roof of the car. He was excellent and he made the whole shenanigans excellent and even fun. Five start customer service.”

“Today I bought a sink waste kit from Bolton B&Q to replace the broken one in the kitchen. Fitting it was quite straight forward, but one of the joints was dripping. I went back to B&Q to ask for some advice. I talked to Ilya; he was very patient and helpful. He showed me how to fit it properly and I found out the way I fitted it was wrong. I came back home and refitted the kit. Perfect! The sink was good as new and no dripping! A big thank you to Ilya! You are a star of B&Q!”

“I use Tunbridge Wells B& Q a lot and the Guys and Girls on trade point are always brilliant. But I have to say that Charlie on trade point was exceptional on Thursday he helped me load my van and had his usual happy helpful attitude was a breath of fresh air.”

“I bought a bathroom from B&Q Nelson. The sink was cracked and the unit was sub-standard. I went into the store with some photographs of it and spoke to Sophie and James, the manager. Their customer service was exceptional and James understood that it was a genuine complaint. He gave me great advice and directed me to a sink and unit of superior quality. He then said that I could have it for free because he knew I would have to get the first sink out and pay for the installation of the new one. I cannot thank him enough because we are on a tight budget. There was no arguing or haggling just great service. I will always use B&Q Nelson for all my DIY and gardening needs. They were more concerned about the disruption that had happened and did all they could to put it right. Thank you so much, it is refreshing to know that B&Q put their customers first before profit.”

“We brought lovely tap for kitchen sink took it home tried to fix together couldn,t do it .Back to B&Q to get help.bumpt in to Felix of the Watford Store. Knowing what a nice and helpful man he is l explained our predicament. Felix our Knight in shining Armour fixed our problem and left us feeling so happy. This man Felix is such an Asset to B & Qs.”

“had full bathroom fitted last month can honestly say the job went fantastic no problems whatsoever fitters were very nice and helpful and completion was a little over but that was our doing am so so pleased would deal with them again. and the price was the cheapest quoted. (Lincoln)”
