“Good prices beating all othet competitors. Any problems with purchase never a problem. Bought dewalt grinder 4206 for 50 pounds tool station wanting 70 pounds a no brainer”

“I visited Bidston store where Dave from flooring was exceptionally helpful I bought 2 x 8' piece of melamine that I would have really struggled to get in my car. He offered to cut it for me then helped me to carry them to the car. I wanted to take him home with me but sadly he was already married”

“I bought a large mirror from B & Q Warehouse in Blackpool, got it home and it shattered. Thinking I had no chance of them exchanging it due it happening after I left the store, I was wrong. I went back the next day and Becky at Customer Services couldn't be more helpful. She got the store Manager Phil and he exchanged it for me no problem. I don't usually write reviews but I am very impressed with the level of customer service at this store and thought both Becky and Phil deserve a mention for being so helpful and friendly.”

“Very helpful staff at the Blackburn store this evening. In particular Phil and Omar. I bought lots of plants and compost etc and they were only too happy to help by lifting the heavy items into my car. A credit to B&Q. Many thanks again 😊. Bev”

“B&Q Queens Rd Sheffield. Paul on Garden machinery etc. is an absolute Gem of an employee. He goes above and beyond to give information and assistance at every stage whatever one needs. Nothing is too much trouble and is very trustworthy . I just love visiting the store as I know that anything I buy. if there is a problem it is sorted as soon as I return. He should be highly commended by your Company as a very loyal and exemplary Employee”

“I purchased a large sheet of chipboard at Bishopbriggs B and Q and had spent at least 30 minutes attempting to strap the board to my roof rack but as this was my first attempt at using ratchets I was obviously having difficulty and was asked if I needed help by a guy who had just arrived for his B and Q shift. He told me that your first attempt at using these ratchets can be a problem. He used his to secure his bikes to his car. This was a very thoughtful way of making me feel I wasn't as big a numpty as I felt. Great stuff. He then showed me how to properly feed straps through ratchets and secured the wood sheet to my roof rack. Excellent service. I thanked him but he said that was what they were there for. It was a great relief to get this help. He took time out before starting his shift at about 5pm to help me. I did not get his name but he was driving a black Vauxhall 08 vectra? If you know the guy then please pass on my repeated thanks and gratitude. Deserves a bonus from b and q for going out of his way to help me as I was really stressed out. Thanks mate. John McLaughlin”

“I have visited the Merthyr Tydfil store twice recently and on both occasions have spoken to Rebecca. This young lady is approachable and extremely helpful. I have been trying to find work tops and wall tiles for my kitchen and she showed me all the new stock that had come in and offered advice on current styles. She also showed me the range of sealants available and couldn’t have been more helpful. This young lady is a credit to B&Q. I would like this review to be brought to the attention of the management at the Merthyr Tydfil store.”

“We made several trips to B&Q in Leatherhead to buy fencing products in the Neva range. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive and pulled out all the stops for us. Some of what we needed was not available in Leatherhead but they arranged everything for us to collect items from Sutton. In particular, Karen in the Leatherhead store was such an encouragement, so cheerful and nothing was a problem she could not overcome. The lady is a treasure and a credit to B&Q; take care of her! We wanted some Anabar fire pits which were not stocked in Leatherhead. Karen had three (from Guildford) ready for us to collect the following morning from Leatherhead store. Great service! Thank you Karen for going the extra mile.”

“Bought a shed at B&Q in Leeds the shed was delivered and installed I had trouble with it and went back to B&Q and spoke to a manager called Robert he did everything he could to sort this out and I'm very happy for what he has done for me I cannot fault the staff at this branch as they go all out to resolve your problem if I could give more stars I would give them 10 out of 10 and my friends are happy with this store as well”
