“My own experience with B & Q Customer Service in Nottingham has been excellent! After visiting the store to purchase a desk light and bulb I discovered that I had been given the wrong bulb. When I phoned them up Customer Service was apologetic and really helpful. The Head of the Lighting Department, Gillian, phoned me back. She was extremely helpful and really went above and beyond the call of duty of help in a way that is so rare these days. Good customer service is in short supply with so many businesses and I applaud B & Q for their excellent service. I will certainly be using them again. Many thanks Gillian and B & Q.”

“I was at B&Q Hemerston Edinburgh today and I was looking for tiles which I was told the ones I wanted by customer service were in Isle 12 and 14, my wife and I looked all around both isles twice taking our time but just couldn't find the ones we wanted so I spoke to a B&Q assistant called Tom he also looked for them for us to find them under a pile of other tiles, he done a great job very polite and professional and I couldn't thank him enough thank you Tom.”

“Visited Cwmbran store to order Fence panels, Garden gate etc. Not knowing where to start, I asked a member of staff from the garden dept to help me. Darren was absolutely amazing. He advised me of everything I needed and arranged delivery for when I needed it. He even said he would sort out the best fence panels for me. Wonderful customer service, valuable member of staff. Please pass on my thanks to him.”

“Was looking for a tap which I saw on the website but could not find it on display. It did say stock was low. I asked an assistant Dee for help and she bothered to go looking through stock and actually found one. Thank you to her for bothering to help, appreciated.”

“It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Richard Peirce at the Warrington Store. He was extremely friendly, approachable and most of all very very helpful indeed, with some flooring I had put down. Unfortunately there was an issue with the flooring. However, Richard was extremely professional and patient when dealing with myself. He provided different solutions and ideas of how the issue could get resolved, which was in the space of 7 hours 😊 Richard is a credit to B&Q and the team. Once again thank to Richard and Debbie Morgan for being fair and showing fabulous customer service 😊😊😊”

“Good prices beating all othet competitors. Any problems with purchase never a problem. Bought dewalt grinder 4206 for 50 pounds tool station wanting 70 pounds a no brainer”

“I visited Bidston store where Dave from flooring was exceptionally helpful I bought 2 x 8' piece of melamine that I would have really struggled to get in my car. He offered to cut it for me then helped me to carry them to the car. I wanted to take him home with me but sadly he was already married”

“I bought a large mirror from B & Q Warehouse in Blackpool, got it home and it shattered. Thinking I had no chance of them exchanging it due it happening after I left the store, I was wrong. I went back the next day and Becky at Customer Services couldn't be more helpful. She got the store Manager Phil and he exchanged it for me no problem. I don't usually write reviews but I am very impressed with the level of customer service at this store and thought both Becky and Phil deserve a mention for being so helpful and friendly.”

“Very helpful staff at the Blackburn store this evening. In particular Phil and Omar. I bought lots of plants and compost etc and they were only too happy to help by lifting the heavy items into my car. A credit to B&Q. Many thanks again 😊. Bev”

“B&Q Queens Rd Sheffield. Paul on Garden machinery etc. is an absolute Gem of an employee. He goes above and beyond to give information and assistance at every stage whatever one needs. Nothing is too much trouble and is very trustworthy . I just love visiting the store as I know that anything I buy. if there is a problem it is sorted as soon as I return. He should be highly commended by your Company as a very loyal and exemplary Employee”
