Wow, I went in the Beckton store on Sunday to buy some brown spray paint. All the spray cans were all sprayed on, and looked a mess, how can you allow so many people to mess up the spray area, to the point not even the staff could determine which was the brown I needed. The staff member even told me to try Dunelm down the road who would more likely to to have in store (No they don't do spray paint). she would rather I try elsewhere than to check in stock. I just got a very poor feeling that day, the staff were not helpful at all. Btw The car park was a total mess where boy racers have been using their grounds to burn tyres all over the place. It was a total mess, and not a welcoming site

Telephoned the store at 11.20am and asked if the board cutting service was working. Informed by a member of staff that it was working. Arrived at the store at 11.50am to find that the cutting service was out of order. Printed signs had been placed at the desk explaining what the fault was. I am sceptical that this happened in the 30 mins following my phone call. Spoke with a member of staff and was told to see Kevin in the yard and he may be able to help. Got to the yard to be informed that Kevin would be back shortly. Waited 10 mins and gave up.

Bad customer service at park head bq one member of staff extremely rude ,when asked for help to find a specific wallpaper .which was in stock but not on display.

Wanted to post a constructive and helpful post on b and q website by reviewing a product. Would have helped other customers and helped sell the product, but there is no button I can see to post a review, even after logging in.

I went in to store and had Valspar paint mixed. The lid must have not been attached securely as it leaked everywhere! B&Q customer services were appalling, said it was my fault for not checking the lid before I left the store!

Website sends u in circles to log in. Rang placed order. Chased up where it was then sent cancellations saying they couldn't supply. Then sent me an email saying I had cancelled. Rubbish customer service

Wouldn't recommend bq again and certainly think twice about buying electrical goods. Bought elec fire about 18 month ago fire had 1 year guarantee that was fine but fire had problem so got in touch with bq and was told after guarantee there is no aftercare to help source any parts was advised to try putting details into Google to source part very disappointed and told bq as much so watch what u buy

Flooring delivery arrived with lots of damage, the job needed doing ASAP so I went to a store to buy 4 extra boxes! I took photo evidence of the damages and sent this to customer services! This was after completing the job with all off cuts and damages taken away by cleaners Now b and q say I the damages are gone they will not give even a credit! I’m shock and appalled by there lack of customer satisfaction! Beware all buyers! Rubbish delivery rubbish customer service

CONNED !!!, i stopped using B&Q last year when they stopped the over 60's discount on wednesdays. the store was heaving with customers back then but now ?, it's almost devoid of customers. i only visited today because i heard my discount card was for gardening items only. so, i bought some bedding plants but my 10% discount did'nt apply. why ?, because they were already discounted. discounted the the general public that is. what is the point in having this card anymore ?. i've destroyed it & will NEVER visit B&Q again ever. their goods are already overpriced. online shopping for me from now on. honestly, what a way to run a business. they have the business brains of a goldfish. say hello to bankruptcy soon B&Q.

I went in to ask for help looking for a specific textured paint and was told it wasn’t available in that make but had it in white along the back wall and she went on to serve the next customer...if you can find a person to help I find that they can be quite off hand...Not-all but quite a few..Think they need some more customer service trying...I use to work for an Airline so i do know! This is the Crawley branch...

Customer service is shocking!! Ordered a kitchen, waited in all day no calls! Kitchen didn’t arrive, no explanation, still waiting to hear from them! Definitely go else where

May be cheap but worktops dont come with edging strip, you have to order them and it takes three weeks to get them, very poor service, best get your kitchen where they care about customer service.

Came to buy a kitchen today and after spending weeks working out my requirements, thought I’d come and finally buy it. Went to the kitchen section, wondered around just to work out which style, and after about 10 minutes of wondering around and expecting someone to come and help, all the staff were doing is chatting about alcohol! Didn’t even seem like they wanted to help! So gave up and decided I’ll go elsewhere! What a joke of your staff! Lost sale.

I went to the slough store today and bought a product, took it home and it was cracked and missing fixture and fittings. Had to take it back and was offered £10! I was then asked if I regularly go round stores trying to get money back! Shocking customer service.

I cant believe I spent over 2 hours picking an order for guttering all the joints, ends , clips angles, downpipe and lengths of drain. I was recently phoned (its MEANT to be online!!??) telling me part of the order wasnt in stock (this is over and above the parts that online last night told me were not in stock ) and have such been canceled. This is 2 hours before scheduled delivery! as I was text with couriers ETA! much earlier! I find this DIABOLICAL the items that are cancelled are the lengths of the drain pipe! BUT YOU SEE FIT TO STILL DELIVER THE CLIPS ETC? I have tried cancelling the rest of order on a 30 minute phone call and as widely expected got nowhere No wonder your company is gong down the pan! We need to ask customers to confirm their address, before we access the order. This is due to data protection. I can see you have already spoken with our Customer Service team today, and they've escalated your complaint under the reference: 8001756394. The relevant team will be in touch with you, to have this resolved. Thanks. Kelli ol HOW WASNT IT RESOLVED EARLIER ? WHY AM i NOW FORCED TO WAIT IN FOR AN ORDER ONLY TO REFUSE IT? As the order is out for delivery today, it's too far gone in the delivery process to cancel. Once refused, a refund can be processed. This has been passed over to our support team, to action this and contact you. Kelli SO HOW COME IT IS NOT TO LATE FOR b&Q TO CANCEL PART OF ORDER WHILE ITS OUT FOR DELIVERY? Brian. As advised, this delivery is currently out with Parcelforce. Kelli YES PARCEL FORCE TOLD ME THIS FIRST THING THEY NOR B&Q TOLD ME THAT THE VITAL PARTS OF ORDER WERE CANCELLED AND YOU STILL PLAN TO DELIVER FITTINGS BUT BOT THE ITEMS NEEDING FITTINGS!!! I am concerned about the increasing use of artificial grass on the environment. The rapidly disappearing green spaces in the UK are damaging wildlife and the huge amount of plastic used will be with us for thousands of years !!!!

B&Q Kitchens are the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to come across! My parents who are both elderly & unwell, went to B&Q in April 2017 as they thought that they would be a good family, friendly & trustworthy company to purchase & install their new kitchen. How wrong they were, that has resulted in a 2 YEAR LONG NIGHTMARE! A VERY brief summary of the issues are - 1. Being messed around for 3 months about an installation start date 2. Scheduled deliveries & installers then not turning up on the agreed dates with no one contacting parents to explain that the installation was not going ahead (3 times) 3. Unacceptable standard of workmanship with numerous issues that resulted in at least half of the installation being replaced numerous times (including flooring, kitchen etc) 4. Incorrect finish wrong worktops being installed & then replaced 5. Unacceptable amount of snagging items that did not get addressed 6. None existent aftercare Despite issuing over 50 + emails to B&Q complaining about the ongoing unacceptable performance, they simply did not sort the issues out We also issued a full breakdown of the history of events to B&Q CEO's Christian Mazauric & various Kingfisher CEO's (the company who own B&Q) but not one of them acknowledged our complaint or intervened We then issued a complaint to the Furniture Ombudsman in 2018. Even though the Ombudsman sided with our compliant that resulted in my parents being awarded £1,800.00, we are still complaining on a weekly basis to the Ombudsman that as of April 2019, we still have not got all of the other issues resolved (free issues replacement components, electrical certificate that is a legal requirement). Once all of the above has been resolved, we will get a proper kitchen contractor to put the work right! Avoid B&Q like the plague!!!

B&Q are the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to work with! My parents who are both elderly & unwell have been subjected to a 2 year nightmare that includes us having to take them to the Furniture Ombudsman, winning the case in late 2018 & we still have not got the matter resolved in April 2019. Avoid B&Q like the plague!!!
