After buying a Ryobi impact driver from B&Q earlier in the year, I made a 19 mile round trip to the Dearne Valley mega store to buy some replacement screwdriver bits. I was gobsmacked to discover they don't stock ANY Ryobi parts at all. Surely if you sell the tools you should also supply replacement parts support.

In store service was amazing. The surveyor/fitting manager is not good. This is not the cheapest fitting service and definitely not worth the 2 month wait time. Items missed off the survey through simply not checking properly and the bills add up. Also tried to add the waste from another job to mine that was on my drive without even asking. Got very angry when I refused to allow this. One fitter (who is really good) to fit most of the works alone and worked extremely hard and long hours. To be honest I just wished we had gone elsewhere!

Buyers of kitchens beware. They are happy to take your money but can’t deliver full order. Missing products have been put back 4 times now… this time I’m told August 11th. Can’t build the rest of the kitchen without worktops. Been lied to several times now. B&Q don’t care.

I was in renfrew store today for flooring which unfortunately was out of stock. George who is a one of the staff in building assisted me in finding out when it is due in and what I would require. He was very pleasant and helpful. Thanks George.

Called into Chesterfield B&Q yesterday for some wood. We were helped by a wonderful friendly funny guy called Shaun who even cut the wood for us. We also needed some silicone and was helped by Vick who was informative and helpful. Always believe in credit where credits due, people are always too easy to criticise. Thankyou guys 😀

Can’t fault the checkout staff at Crewe, a young couple who helped us work out the quantity of flooring tiles we required. Sadly the tiles were of Spanish manufacture, they weren’t the cheapest or most expensive. However when our tilers came to lay the tiles in our new conservatory, they discovered that within the same batch the tiles were of different thicknesses and some were not even square. This of course gave them great problems when laying the tiles.

Large bales of compost usually cost £8:95. Since this lockdown started they are only selling smaller bales for £5.95. Which works out at almost half as much again of the big bales. Rip off merchants. Lets see if bandq allow me to repost this negative review.

Just collected last of tiles, tried to sort on line as hadn’t got all I required at one store. The stores team at the Sutton in Ashfield branch telephone other stores and managed to hold them until we arrived to collect. Excellent service, happy customers thank you

B&Q was the most unpleasant, disappointing and terrible experience ever when shopping online. Firstly, the store processed an order, made me pay for it and only after they messaged me saying that the items were out of stock. Secondly, once I tried to pay with my debit card and the website couldn’t process it, I finished paying via Paypal. My surprise was that they charged me twice. The paypal that was the confirmed one, they processed a refund but the other one, I had to contact my bank, get details and pass them the info to have this cancelled. Basically, I paid twice for an order with items that were out of stock and have to wait for a week to have my money back only because the store is the most disorganised and unprofessional I saw in my life. Never, never more.

Really Bad customer service. Tried to add to my delivery address my company name because there is a few companies in the same postcode, and they don't let me do it.

I made a purchase at B&Q Swansea on Tuesday and was served by a lovely girl called Tirion. We had a chat as she put my items through the checkout. I have been to other DIY and the checkout staff didn't even say thank you.

Great service at Salisbury B&Q, needed a paint mixed but no base available, The lovely Lisa telephoned when it was in and kept to one side for me. Then Nicky with the amazing coloured hair, served me with a smile albeit under a mask. Well done Salisbury.

Experienced great customer service. I was served by Mark who was efficient and polite. But Laura the assistant manager was so helpful and kind. I had a lot of shopping with me she took my hanging basket and walked with me to my car. This was customer service above and beyond amazing I will visit again soon

I would like to say a great big thank you to Shelagh in the kitchen department for her help. Customer service was hopeless & she came to our rescue spending the last year trying to get us cupboard doors we needed ( covid didn't help!) At last we have our problem resolved thanks to Shelagh; helpful, friendly she never gave up! A great big thank you x

I went to the main Leicester store 31/5/2021 and when at the till I realised I had not bought enough of something to get the discount and Kylie who was serving me was brilliant. She took my shopping to one side and told me to go and get the other items. Just nice to have someone that happy to help instead of the only too common ‘computer says no’ response

Paid for a kitchen and installation but B&Q didn’t bother to book a fitter. They only told me they couldn’t fit it after delivering the units in late April. They gave me 90 minutes to either cancel or find my own fitter, or accept a new installation dat in November. I’ve been battling with their incompetent escalated complaint a team ever since...latest joke is that they sent a cheque for part payment of the refund and it bounced.
