“It’s difficult enough to lose someone significant in your life, it’s harder still to prepare a funeral to honour that very special life. This task is handled so brilliantly by BARE. They set up a dashboard page that you can access on your computer so that you can see your to-do list at a glance. It’s great for you during a time when you don’t feel like engaging with people. But this company hasn’t done away with human interaction completely, you can actually speak to a very lovely person, who is honestly an angel on earth, who will listen to you. And do their best to honestly hear you. Every person I interacted with was so respectful and patient. They let me cry unashamedly. BARE also provides help and advice on settling the estate, getting death certificates, informing important organizations, etc. You can still engage with them after the funeral. Speaking of which, my lovely husband was able to be honoured at our church with his favorite music and a slideshow. Bare helped us to keep the price reasonable and my husband’s ceremony was beautiful. My husband was cremated and I chose to pick up his ashes and the lovely woman who assisted me was so incredible. The pricing details were provided early and you are given options to include or exclude.
The only thing was filling in the details, it became quite tedious and so we guessed a lot of answers, to our detriment. We then had to correct the inaccuracies as the information is needed to for the death certificate.
